Nice Dumpling - Restaurant in Auckland, New Zealand
Cheap and cheerful dumplings
My fav dumplings
You will be getting a positive review from me because my experience with this small place has been great.Sometimes around lunchtime I will grab some pan fried pork dumplings and they always taste great, and I still think $13 for 15 is a pretty good deal.
Bang for the bucks, affordable, yummy dumplings and great customer service
This place needs to be gatekeeped because its THAT GOOD. The guy who works here is a king and he slays Everytime. the vege buns are the reason Im still functioning in society Im not kidding.
TL;DR: its a solid mehdumplings were aight and nothing more. customer service were below expectations. moreover was charged to use paywave even though I didnt consent to it. during covid, should be free and if not, at least asked to be charged
Pork bun deal five for 5$ best value snack in CBD
Good for the price😋
Dumplings here are great. I loved the chicken ones.
Took a bite and threw it away.How do they stay open?Service: 2/5Presentation: 3/5Environment: 2/5Food Quality: 0/5Food Quantity: 0/5
Not bad fora quick snack. $9 for 15 pieces.
Loved it, quick cheap bite that hit the spot
Amazing panfried baos at good price
Yum dumplings
Testy dumplings should try once.
Very Nice :)!
This inconspicuous little place doesnt look like much from the outside, but dont be deceived. The menu consists of way more than just noodles. The dumplings (friedare heavenly (juicy, savouryand I will struggle to graduate beyond them they are so tasty. I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes though. Best to go with a group of four or more as the portions are very generous and the prices are ridiculously cheap. But dont tell too many people about it, youll be cursing when you cant get a table.
Bad
Very yummy and affordable food. I often have the pork fried buns for $1 each. 3 of them make a good filling lunch.
Amazing pork buns at this place. Sometimes they are sold out at the end of the day
Delicious vegetarian buns!!
Really cheap prices and the dumplings are really good. Sometimes sold out by the end of the day.
Thats a blast! Best Dumplins Ive ever had!
Really rude guy. Asked for a pork bun on a napkin to avoid single use polystyrene. He said "thats not ok with me" and put it in polystyrene container. I paid, took the bun out and asked him to reuse or throw the container away, he told me to take it with me and throw it in the bin on the corner despite there being a trash can right behind him. WTF
Made a detour during open time (8.40amand it was closed.
I used to frequent this place a lot but I remember why I stopped going. The dumplings were flavorless, with the soy sauce being the saltiest Ive ever tasted probably to make up for it. The dough was tough. Walk up to UoA for some good dumplings from barilla if you have some dumpling cravings
Best dumpling spot!
Really rude stuff and the dumplings are hard like stone. So bad EW....
Aweful - Tried a few times and the man behind the counter either tries to put less dumplings every time or is incapable of counting to 15.
A cool little place to get a quivk.bite before going to Uni!
Just like its name, it is nice taste, pretty worth price (6$ for 10 pcs, 8$ for 15 pcs). Other menu also available, such as Winton soup and others.
Too doughy and tasteless.
This place used to be good but has now taken a dive, The dumplings are now filled with a pretty tasteless paste with no texture and tbh bloody awful... I have found a hair in the fried buns and am now unable to return....cheap as but you get what you pay for... I am going to try number 1 dumplings further up the road and hope for better
Stopped by for a quick lunch and grabbed a set of chicken and pork dumplings with hot sauce. 10 dumplings for $6 for each set. The dumpling were fried but I thought the pastry was a bit thick. Fillings were nice, preferred the chicken to the pork. Other condiment options were available like vinegar an soy sauce.
Worst dumplings EVER
Quality food for quality Asian food.
The food was amazing for the price and the steamed bun were super flavorful goes great with a nice cool ginger beer ^_^
Cant beat the prices but dont expect something over the top. Pre fried chicken, buns, and dumplings. All def need some sauce else pretty plain and lots of breading on buns.
Dissapointing.Wasted my money here.Admittedly I took the fried dumpling home.. so they were not hot.Taste was poor.. .No flavour.Solid hard fat dry.Indetermenant solid meat in one and the other same lighter colour meat with corn.Complained next day to Nice Dumplings staff..man said it was because I didnt eat within 20 mins.Would not refund my money.Poor service.
Dumplings were worse than those that you can get at the supermarket (frozen). At least they were somewhat cheap
Yummy fried dumplings but the skin could be thinner and crisper. They also sell steam dumpling and buns.
Decent dumplings for a decent price. Good for a quick and easy lunch.
Great and cheap dumplings to go.
