Nhà Hàng Cơm Chay Hoa Sen, 43 Nguyễn Văn Cừ - Vegetarian restaurant in Ðà Lạt, Vietnam
Food is good, not the best vegan food I’ve ever had, but it was still pretty good. Staff were a bit … odd ? Like playing around and messing around while people are sitting having dinner or waiting to have their orders taken, just kind of seemed a bit weird to me, but they were having fun.
Some of the food was pretty tasty, some not so much. They had run out of a lot of things on the menu, Bao buns were cold and soggy on top. They messed up our order and brought out a dish that they couldnt identify and tried to tell us it was spinach or cabbage, it looked like vegetable protein in sauce - not green like a vegetable. Very strange experience, had high expectations and was very excited to have lots of options but was let down.
I really like this restaurant. Weve eaten here twice, going out of our way the second time to eat there. They have a full menu of vegetarian dishes, so you can have all the traditional Vietnamese items in without meat. Thats a good start. Then, the food is delicious. Ive tried Singapore style noodles, pho, and their vegetarian "ribs." All were really flavorful and delicious. Finally, the prices are very reasonable. Do yourself a favor and come here for lunch or dinner!
It was an average restaurant: mushroom in a clay pot was good. The location was good as it is next to Da Lat night market.
Great meat alternative restaurant with unique twist on vietnamese/chinese dishes. Reasonably priced.
A big venue with lots of different dishes on the menu, all vegan. The food is pretty good. The English translation is not always accurate and in some cases completely wrong so make sure you double check what you order.
Pure vegan, delightful flavours, great staff. What more can a vegetarian / vegan diner wish for
Emm brassied Ockar for breafast tasty
The selection is very big and food was ok. unfortunately we were disappointed by the portion sizes relative to the price we paid. Personally I think the dishes are overpriced compared to other veggie restaurants in Dalat.
Ordered spring rolls, chilli tofu rice, and mixed broccoli with mushrooms and cauliflower.Spring rolls and the tofu with rice were good, but the mixed veg was very overpriced. 60k for a tiny portion of mixed veg.I left the restaurant still hungry. My girlfriend and I went to their competitor veggie restaurant around the corner and ordered 2 soups and a desert for 60k
Very bad, not recommended at all! The Bun rieu had a funny smell, I couldnt finish it, and the spicy pasta was terrible, I dont know what kind of sauce did they use but it was disgusting, really thick like a syrup. And prices are higher than the traditional Chay Buddhist places in Vietnam (usually 25.000VND per person).
Cheap but many selection & delicious veterian food!Parking opposite the restaurant.Big space & supportive staff
WOW! Slightly more than youll pay at most Vietnamese Chay restaurants but so so so worth it!The food is very well prepared with the best ingredients! Delicious!
We really enjoyed our meal here. We were the only Westerners too 😁 Fabulous fresh spring rolls with piquant peanut sauce, followed by ocra, roasted quorn with pepper & rice, all washed down with jasmine tea. So good, we ordered a takeaway for our dinner! Service a bit slow, but whos in a rush?
Nice vegitarian restaurant in Da Lat. There seems to be no English speaking staff but they are attentive and trying to help - that’s what I count on. There are a quite variety food you may choose and they are above average I think. I will visit as often as I can.
Nice place and the food reasonably priced.Very busy.My wife received her food and I waited for mine.Oops.They forgot the order otherwise all good
The place is big and at first glance it seems clean. The service is bad, they dont speak English but they dont help you too much either. The quality of the food is normal to bad for the price it is. I do not recommend ANYTHING!! There are more places in Dalat Vegetarians and vegans than for the same price, the food is delicious.
Pretty overpriced and really small portions. What I got wasn’t accurate from what they said on the menu...wont come back...
Vegetarian restaurant, quite famous in Dalat. Good food and very fast. They dont really have English speaking staff, so that is complicated at times.
Great selection of vegetarian and vegan food. The restaurant looks really clean and the food is just good. Friendly service!
Menu have all food prices. I think food ok but prices maybe expensive!
Many kinds of food for selection. But the price is quite high.
I dont write reviews often but felt the need to here. The staff seemed very unhappy and it was reflected in the poor service. The serving was small, especially for the price and the food bland. There is a large menu and we only had two dishes so perhaps.... I would definitely not recommend and will not give them another chance.
I came here for a late lunch snack as I was craving some mock meat. Ended up getting the half chicken made from soy, with dumplings. It was pretty tasty. The menu is extensive with tonnes of vegan options. The only thing that let it down a bit was the prices which were a little high for Vietnam, and I dont think the quality or quantity quite lived up to what I paid (100k for the one dish).
Update: Just been here recently and found out that they have increased the price, now its a little overpriced. Fine, I will just come here less often.A little higher grade than the typical basic vegan restaurant, but still casual, nothing too fancy. Big selection in the menu, lots of variety, might take more than 50 visits to try all of them. Foods are delicious, great chefs.
Food is very good. The location is right in the center of Dalat city. Many options for vegetarians
After arriving to Dalat we stumbled in not even realizing it was vegetarian/vegan place. First we were thinking about leaving as we were craving some pho and banh mì but decided to stay and give it a try.One of the best meals we’ve had in Vietnam so far. Can’t wait to return.
Wow... Best meal in Vietnam so far... So much to choose from... The best was tofu in sichuan pepper sauce. Hs a strong iced coffee as an accompaniment... Pancake rolls a little dry but it doesnt rockbthe five stars awarded cant wait to come back, theres pages to choose from!
Tasty food but horrible staff. We waited 40 minutes for two meals. :(
Incredible food - the pho, banh bao and the enlightened seaweed dish are all worth a try. The service was variable - some days excellent, got served straight away, but some days they would take a long time to take our order. Avoid going there 1 hour before they close if you can, because they will be closing before the actual closing time and you will have to eat in a hurry like we did.
Huge servings & very tasty veggie food!
Huge menu. Ordered several dishes and all arrived quickly and tasted good, but nothing to write home about. Price was okay, although there are cheaper places in town.
The pho , nood are out of my thought , more delicious than I thoughtAnd there many different kind of choices. Like rices , noods , fruit juices , salads and dessertsThe prices are not expensiveAlso suit for who are not used to eat vegetarian
delicious vegetarian food, decent price, central location! but it takes little while for orders :P
Tried their lotus signature steamboat...so yummy...but take quite a long time to place order since only have one or two waiter/ waitress who need to serve such a big restaurant which almost full with customers
Vegetarian restaurant with a big menu. Tasty seitan & tofu dishes. Huge portions and cheap. If you want to get drunk, go to a bar instead of a buddhist restaurant.
Very good vegetarian food. Friendly service and very inexpensive. Great value.
Love their Pho! And the service is top.I only wished the teens could fill their time differently than serving..
Beautiful place, delicious, but a little expensive for Vietnam.Good smells in WC 😂
Amazing vegetarian food, very tasty and didn’t have to wait long.
I understand that many people dont speak english, no problem at all, but the staff was really unfriendly, they first ignored me, then didnt bring the right food, it took forever and in the end they even tried to charge more than I ordered. The food was okay but I definitely wouldnt eat there anymore.
Its good place for vegetarians, only one issue that sometime for take a way order they dont really make it correct as you order, so you must double check your order before you leave also they dont provide any spoon or chopsticks with your take a way order unless you ask for... But all in all its good clean food and friendly hard worker staff... I would recommend it for vegetarians...
Awesome vegan food with plenty of options. Cheap and right portion. Good free tea.Lots of nuns and monks visit.Hot pot available too.
Terrible place. Food is not fresh and tasteless so they are trying to cover it with sugar and Monosodium Glutamat. And waiter cant understand english. So they tried to cheat and brought me different dish, not exactly that I ordered.
Very bad restaurant! Everything is very expensive, and they not willing me to drink beer inside :(
Had a nice lunch and dinner here. Menu is big, they have many different options.
Very good vegetarian food. Good quality and clean restaurant. If you like veggies this is a great place.
Multi- choices for vegetarian, nice place in Dalat
Good vegetarian/ vegan food.Quality is ok but their dessert should be skipped although they look delicious ( they are not ).On full moon or beginning of lunar new year they have ready to eat food as it is popular for Vietnamese to eat vegetarian on those days otherwise you have to order like normal western style restaurant. Good location . Service is normal with room for improvement .
Really like this Vegetarian Restaurant, food and price are ok.
