Nice food .... Good location. All staff and their services were excellent. No need for game drives as lionesses, cheetah, buffaloes, elephants and most of all the plain game came to the lodge water hole. 3 night stay.

Excellent service and very hospitable staff. The right hand side wing has been refurbished and is very nice. There is a pool as well which is really nice.

We booked the hotel at the gate entrance to the park a week prior with confirmations that it is all done, and upon reaching we were informed that our booking was not there and thus we were forced to stay at an alternative hotel of not our choice.... please beware of your bookings and ensure they are secured.

I had a wonderful time at Ngutuni with my family. Ngutuni lodge is located within its own conservancy, adjacent to Tsavo East national park. They have a number of rooms, all of which are triple and face the watering hole, where we saw elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and many other wildlife. The rooms are clean and neat and have attached WC. Their food is tasty, albeit they keep repeating the same menu, with slight variations in the buffet options. They have a big pool too for the swimming fans. The conservancy has a lot of wildlife, we saw lots of animals including lions when we went for game drives. Their staff are friendly. Tsavo East national park is close by for those wishing to go on game drives there. I rate my experience as excellent and Ill be going back soon.

A very serene place...quite an experience watching the animals, especially elephants, come to the watering hole. We saw giraffes, zebras, deers, orynxes, etc on the game drive. Lions mostly come to the watering hole after 6 in the evening. Friendly staff, nice food, cozy rooms.

Very nice lodge. About 3 hours from Mombasa town. Very fortunate to see elephants, giraffe, zebra, antelope, gazelle, buffalo, and lions in the night. Great views from the rooms and the restaurant of the water hole. Meals were buffet style and tasty and rooms were well presented and clean... Im glad we had interconnected rooms with the kids. Service was also very good and staff are well trained..

The watering trough has elephants and buffalos during the day and by night the big cats come to drink, the swimming pool was just the right thing you need to cool off during the hot days

The place is amazing and clean, a very close view of the elephants and other animals but the food especially for vegetarians is tasteless - very few options.

I really enjoyed this place - so many animals were constantly at the watering hole directly in front of the lodge. I’ve heard some say that the park can be empty sometimes, but not last week! The food at the hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean and each with a balcony onto the watering hole. The only thing is that sound reverberates through the hole place, you might say ‘bless you’ if your neighbour sneezes.

I fell in love with this place. The animals watering hole is heavenly! Oh my God! You have all the animals a stone throw away. Beautiful animals. Youll get to see elephants, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs and if lucky enough youll spot lions and leopards in the night.
