Thought this place was still under construction when I first saw it. The new apartments there are awesome
MoreTrendy!
Beautiful architecture. Palace cinemas are great and monster bar is really good
A+ destination for staying, working, coffee drinking, and just generally living well.
MoreLove this beautiful artsy precinct 🥰
Very trendy and the surrounds are lovely. Great public artworks everywhere and cool little cafes and restaurants with great coffee. The cinema provides a more unique experience. The prices (and ridiculous parking feesare reflective of the trendiness of it all.
MoreNot likely to ever return to this place for a coffee. Real rating in stars = zip!
MorePerfect spot for coffee and walk around the late.
Great place to go out and many choices
Now that the trees are starting to mature, New Acton has taken on a whole different feel and persona. The cafe and restaurants are fabulous.
MoreGreat vibe, lots of dining venues, picture theatre and style available.
Love this place, must seen. Best spot in Canberra, art food wine best combination.
MoreStayed here for work during winter time, it was fantastic, loved the rooms, it was very clean and the location was great
MoreBest spot in the capital
There are so many festivities you can enjoy. So much great food and the Art Not Apart Festival is held here annually and it is such a great arts show. You can take so many great photos and you can also cross the bridge to the lake! Very nice place.
MorePosh, self appreciating buildings and boutiques meant to convey a sense of odd intrigue, but just doesnt quite work. Just stay in civic people.
MoreI went to New Acton Art, Not Apart and it was fantastic!
New Acton is a fun and vibrant area with great bars and restaurants as well as some excellent little shops. I would recommend stopping by The Curatoreum if youre in the area, they have a great selection of curious gifts. Also worth trying some of the bars, like Black Market.
MoreGreat place for events and functions
No parking in area for public
Great place to have a social event. Very classy
Good coffee, super relaxed atmosphere and staff, its an open kitchen and the food is fresh and tastes great, very natural and wholesome. Feels like you are having breakfast in someones home.

Looks fancy and nice
A gorgeous precinct featuring galleries, restaurants, cafes, bars, bike hire and accomodation. If I were to move to Canberra I would love to live in the NewActon precinct. The whole precinct is expertly curated and managed creating an amazing ‘oasis’ within the Canberra CBD. I always come here when I visit Canberra and you should too.
MoreReally nice area. I should try and get up there more often. Worth the walk
Best part of Canberra. Some nice little eateries and cafės.
Upscale, arts precinct with some arresting public art. parking is terrible but very bike friendly. Gorgeous collection of places to stay and interesting eateries.
