Founded by Brancoveanu - in an architectural style which will be for reference in Romania - keeps his body rests after the martirage along his 4 suns and sun in low... The interior is wonderful, Im particularly impressed by the manual carpet from his tomb ( donated to the church by his widdowand the speech of the priests and songs of the chore complets the humble atmosphere you have when it seems to approach to Divinity. You leave the church much peaceful and more confident...

Great, peaceful church with historic heritage and excellent paintings inside.The priests service is excellent and when the church choir sings you get a heavenly feeling 😃.It is really a place to visit.On a side note, on Sunday it gets usually cowded, which is normal and also be aware that there are a lot of people who will be asking you for help, money or food, due to their current health, social and economical situation.

I am subjective here because I am an orthodox so this church is quite important for the traditional Romanian folk.It shelters the bones of a famous ruler and benefactor called Brancoveanu.He is cherished because the turkish muslims offered him his life in exchange for his faith and he chose faith and death along with his children instead.A great man. Theres an entire neighbourhood with his name as he was a great landowner too.

Beautiful place! Worth to see. Probably it is the best place I saw in Bucharest.

Very nice church. You can see that they take good care of it and the entrance is free, thankfully. People are very quite inside which is good and they allow you to take pictures, which is also very good. Is in the center of the city so it is easy to find and reach.

This is the church with the holy remains of saints George, Nicholas and the Brancoveanu family.

Amazing frescos, beautifully ornate and well maintained church. its a shame this money couldnt be spent on the swathes of homeless people outside the church and all the beggars in Bucharest.

Incredible murals, beautiful building restored with much love, care and devotion. Seeing it was truly a moving experience even for a non-religious person.

Stunning church! Every inch of plaster is painted in dazzling and deep colours. Makes a huge impression. The place is quite busy - seemed to be the main functioning orthodox church in the area. Well worth visiting. Its not terribly old, but very striking.

At the entrance,in the gardens, you can see two incredible platanus trees.The porch and interior paintings have recently been redone. A little bizy but still nice. The atmosphere...clasic for these sort of places.
