Réservation pour 5 personnes à cet hotel bien situé dans la petite ville de Tanga. Quelques minutes à pied de la plage (payante mais de 2000TZS seulement), avec une eau chaude et calme car dans une baie protégée des vagues.Chambres à différents prix, nous avons payé 35 000, 40 000 et 50 000 (chambre avec air conditionnéTZS. Pour chaque chambre un ventilo est disponible car il y fait chaud.Nous y étions en plein Ramadan, on y entend donc les imams faire la prière dans les alentours via les haut parleurs. 4 étoiles car nous avons eu une panne délectricité qui nous a fait passer la nuit sous la chaleur et ce nétait pas le plus agréable.Malgré cela les chambres sont correctes, spacieuses, avec une salle de bain ok.Diner disponible à prix raisonnable, petit dej inclus et bon.Mama la patronne parle bien anglais et vous aide à réserver un taxi ou vous conseiller ! Le reste du personnel est aussi très serviable !Enfin à 10 minutes de laéroport où nous avons pris un petit avion pour zanzibar ensuite.Nous recommandons pour une nuit cest top !

Hotel is located in a nice and green, quiet part of Tanga. Spacious and well equipped/ furnitured rooms. There are the only assets. Manager is a bad organized, "double tounge" speaking/ communicating, arrogant african woman, with total lack of service skills. Difficult to deal with when she is making the place to a prison for the staff and guests, controlling and locking access to all supplies rooms, even to the storage with clean towels and toilet paper,when she is out of the hotel property. Same with kitchen supplies when you need a plate and knife to enjoy your own papaya. Access closed and locked for the staff as well. The personel of the hotel is not english speaking, mostly trainee girls from the local fields with no salary. Staff is not qualified to work at the hotel, with no required service skills. The way the rooms are cleaned makes the aware guest pretty concern. Manager is not keeping the schedule of the activities runs by hotel, delayed mostly all the time. As the control freak she is keeping closed all gates into the hotel during the daytime. They are really hard to deal with, to open, to feel free to move in and out of the hotel area. Lots of noise from 6 in the morning made of staff maintaining yard, garden, with no any attantion to still sleeping guests. Constantly hungry dogs connected to area of the hotel, struggling with finding of something to eat in the garbage spots and following guests carying some food to the room. Additionally she forbidden the staff to help me with the bicycle when I found the flat tire. They had been warned to not help the guests with no her knowledge or permission. She locked my privat rented bicycle in one of the storage rooms for the night and left early in the morning for all day taking the key with her, making me unable to use my prepaid rented bike. Twice in 10 days.Very unpleasent stay.I hope you will be more lucky with your stay at this place than me.Reading the replay from the management, I remain speachless. No one of accusations are real. Management knew from the beginning that I was looking for a quiet place for long term stay for the period of recovery after abdominal surgery I underwent few weeks ago at the hospital in Moshi. I have never requested anything from the management being just treated unfair and with lack of service willingeness. I have never asked for support no one of the staff at the hotel knowing their daily problems with management. They were showing lots of human love and support ,many of them offered help with no asking from my side , contributing to making my recovery easier to go through. I never requested the food or anything else as I was not required to get. I was listening patiently to the stories of other guests leaving the place with disappointing and complaining over the service. Support with shopping was arranged by management and the fixing of the flat tire made with no request from my side by staff discovering it before I noticed it. And willingly replaced with one of private bicycles to one of employes while repaired. I feel really sad knowing about the struggling of the staff at this place. I wont comment anymore anything from this older african female manager punushing middle aged despite of health problems still good looking european blond woman with mentioned by staff probably jelousy, not showing emphaty or compasion for direct affected by postsurgical restrictions human in need.I experienced the total lack of humanity and professionality in managing of the New Raskazone Hotel.

Awful place to stay...bathroom drains blocked...rooms dump....towels smelly...breakfast was a joke...not baby friendly. Should be advertised more as a back packers place nothing else. Highly disappointed

One of the surprising gems we found on our trip. The hotel rooms were clean and modern, with electricity and western toilets. The staff spoke okay English and were immensely accommodating. We had such a nice stay for 40k per night. The location is close to the only beach in Tanga and 20 mins walk away from the city centre.I have zero complaints, even the spider we found in our room was nice
