New Passage To India in Abbotsford
Description
Privilege
The food wasnt good at all.The chicken was terrible. Also they never told me about the 8 dollar delivery charge.Liars!
MoreBest prices! The lamb korma is very good at this place as well as their paneer pakoras! Definitely one of the cheaper good places to dine.
MoreWe went there on Jan 2nd and the restaurant was completely empty, we were the only two customers. Which is fine. But the lady working (seemed to be the ownermade us feel so uncomfortable. Didnt greet us, and when we sat down she asked us right away what we wanted to order. We hadnt even gotten the chance to open the menus yet. Anytime I turned around she was staring at us with a straight face. We ordered 2 cokes to begin with but regretted it instantly because it was so awkward (as if we were being judgedlol. We left cash on the table and walked out. I am so disappointed with the service after reading the previous reviews of this place. But never will we go back to a place where there is no customer service. This place doesnt even deserve 1 star.
MoreGreat experience! 💗 My favourite place to spend time with my family and enjoy delicious indian food. The fast service , clean environment and friendly staff made me to go there again and again.
MoreOne the best immigration service given here. Really less hassle. all works done without any complication.
MoreDelicious. Amazing. Thums Up. We were 10 in a group & everyone appreciated.
First time visit. Really enjoyed the food and good service too. I will be back.
Another cracking night. Great food, great service and all at a great price.
Not sure if the owners changed or what, but the food is awful now... Worst restaurant butter chicken Ive ever had ... rubber chicken, bland sauce, overcooked rice... disappointing from what it used to be :(
MoreBest Indian dishes at an affordable price. Thanks.
There are no options for zero stars so 1 it is. Microwaved chicken breast and baked potato in mediocre sauce. Paying $14 per dish the expectations are set high to get a slow cooked sauce with meat and vegetables, when the chicken is chunky, chewy and the vegetables taste as though they were precooked in the microwave does not make for a pleasant meal.
MoreGreat food.Ambience is good too..
Well, if you are okay spend little more and get awesome food with ambience, go for this restaurant .
MoreGreat Indian restaurant, amazing food and good service and fair prices . Went there for lunch had a few dishes and enjoyed all of them.
MoreBeen there with my family for a dinner, it was quite a good experience. Food was delicious so was the ambience.
MoreGood sized servings, and the food was delicious.
Good food ,good friendly atmosphere and above all their staffs were well trained and up to the mark. Will recommendto my friends.
Morereally amazing dishes really liked it. the quantity and ambiance is also good.
Nice place to visit with friends and family... Awesome quality foods n staffs are also very professional.
MoreGreat ambiance. Food quality was good.
One Of The Best Indian Cuisine Restaurant In BC, Hand Down...Shrimps are the best here, But tbh the food in Raja Maharaja style you get at the price down to earth.. :D
MoreReally had a nice time, we ordered butter chicken and Naan it was finger-licking awesome. I am definitely coming back for sure.
MorePrawns marinated in yoghurt, ginger, garlic, tandoori sauce and deep fried, sumptuous, luxurious meal at a affordable price. Will recommend people to visit the restaurant .
MoreAttended a birthday party at this restaurant. Excellent service and hands-down the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning for butter chicken and garlic naans again!
MoreGreat place to go with friends, good ambiance, very friendly staff, and tasty food!Chicken Naan (chicken and veggies stuffed between naan bread with spicesis my absolute favorite, highly recommended!Butter chicken with rice and naan is also very tasty!Stop by and try the delicious food and say hi to the owner!
MoreI ordered shahi paneer medium spice and it was sweet and also had wood chips in it and hurt my tooth when I was eating. It is unfortunate because I was in Abbotsford and drove back home to Chilliwack and wouldnt be worth coming back to get a refund or to get it remade.I use to like this place a lot when I lived near by but the food quality has really gone down hill. It does not taste the same anymore and I dont understand how there could be wood chips in my food. Maybe your cooking utensils are old and broke off into my food.
MoreQuiet. Great selection. Theyre spot on for spice levels. The best testimonial, well be back.
MoreGreat food at great prices! Dining in is always quiet :)
A Great place to chillax, 5 star service and experience 👍🏻 Wickey, Australia
MoreSkip the all-you-can-eat and dig into the proper menu. Can mild or very spicy, to your preference
MoreThis restaurant is a staple of dining out in Abbotsford even if youre not normally partial to Indian food. The menu is large and varied with excellent prices given the amount and quality of the food you receive. The butter chicken is some of the best Ive ever had. I would gladly commute to Abbotsford to eat at this restaurant.
MoreFood was great but the service sucked we had a coupon she told us its only for dine in no where it was mentioned never the less the lady cried to give us 4 plates and cutlery whoch was really wired specially since i ordered 5 dishes
MoreThey have great portion sizes, as well as some delicious chana masala.
Very good customer serviceGreat foodVery reasonable prices when compared to other restaurants in Abbotsford
MoreFor the lunch buffet, food is often lukewarm, naan isnt baked fresh to order but is kept under a heat lamp, but on the other hand, tandoori chicken is readily available, and the mixed veggies are addictive. This is more inexpensive than any of the other Indian places in town, and it shows, but if youre in the area, and you need a fill me up, you could do a lot worse.
MoreThe food here was good Indian, tasty, spice was to each of our levels. There are no beef options here, but there are enough other options to choose from, so we were good with that. The service was a little lacking, not overly friendly and food came very slowly, the atmosphere is very dated and unappealing. I wouldnt be unhappy to eat here again, but it wouldnt be my first choice
MoreThis restaurant has good Indian food, and a wide variety of options to choose from. Their dessert options were fun to try and priced very well. Wed return here just for their dessert! I particularly enjoyed the rice pudding, and the dry milk dough in honey. The main dishes have standard flavours - they didnt stand out as particularly fresh, or homemade or special ; but they did taste good. This is a safe place to bring the entire family, even if they dont enjoy spicy food.
MoreI really only come here to get their naan bread, but its really good. They have both garlic and regular, and both are great. Oh, and the people who work here are very friendly!
MoreNice restaurant, great service and tasty food.
Went to the buffet. Excellent food. Not too hot if you want mild. (Hot can be ordered). Good vegetarian choices also. Comfortable.
MoreFresh , buffet is great deal,, will be back again.
Food was good. But service was worst. 3 stars for food 0 for service.
Well that was probably the worse food and buffet ive ever had the displeasure of eating. Stringy chicken everything seemed old.Too bad actually nice looking restaurant inside, in a word GROSS
MoreOne of the worst experience in buffett....only 4 dishes....for $9.99.....NOBODY EAT THERE....WE ARE THE ONLY CUSTOMERSTandori chicken tasted old....butter chicken tasted watery....disgusting...Hope we are not getting sick from this experience.....
MoreWe have been there several times, and it is always perfect! We always order the Non-Vegetarian Thali and pakora to start.
MoreVery meh food...messed up our take out order a couple of times even though weve gone back to give them another chance. The place was dead so youd think they would have the order correct. Dhaliwal on Cedar is way better.
MoreThe butter chicken and the garlic naan are the best in Abbotsford!
The taste is great. It is too bad the building is in such poor shape.
One of my absolute favourite restaurants. The paneer pakora is awesome. While their butter chicken is some of the best out there, branch out and try some other stuff. The lamb rogenjosh (sp?is amazing, or even the veggie version.
MoreThis is absolutely my favourite Indian restaurant - good service, nice atmosphere and delicious food spiced just right. It is also a real bargain. Too bad its way out in Abbotsford.
