Neighborhood strip-mall standby with a mostly Chinese menu, plus some Thai & Vietnamese dishes.
Always good food as ordered.
This is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant. I don’t eat meat, so I’ve been trying all the tofu dishes and I really appreciate the variety they have. They even make their own vegetarian chicken and beef and they’re fantastic!
I love this place. Best plant based chinese food in the Denver area.
Fantastic food! Some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever eaten and wonderful presentation! Would totally come back here and be a regular if I lived in the area.
As far as strip mall Chinese food places go, it’s actually pretty damn good food. Pleasantly surprised with the quality, and super fast service!
Excellent service and food, thank you for being a local favorite!!!
You can taste the old oil real bad in the general Tso. Don’t really recommend it.
We used to really enjoy this place, but lately the prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. The sesame chicken was gross tonight and not even edible, plus it cost us $80 for four meals. Well go elsewhere from now on.
I ordered beef lo mein. It is too oily and the beef is very fatty and hard to chew. I could only tolerate a few bites.
Good portion sizes, very friendly staff, lots of choices for lunch. Service is fast. I wish they had a option to make food spicier. Thai spicy is still not spicy enough for me
broccoli chicken was one of the most disgusting things i have ever put in my mouth. took one bite and threw the whole thing away. 0 flavor and covered in a nauseating slime. whoever cooked it should be embarrassed.
The food was great! Im always a little nervous with restaurants that seem to be trying too many styles (Chinese & Thai & Vietnamese), but our family tried an entree from each and we agreed that each one was as good as any wed had at our favorite "focused" places. Even more of a (pleasantsurprise was the amazingly fast delivery. We thought they said it would be forty-five minutes.... but they were here in LESS THAN TEN!! We even double checked the order thinking they must have mixed up our address with a previously submitted order. I didnt see the car but either their kitchen and delivery staff are superhuman or they have a kitchen in the back of the delivery car! 😉 Regardless, fast and tasty! Well be ordering again for sure.
Yummy gluten-free options! It’s so hard to ensure completely gluten free food, but as someone with Celiac disease, I’ve eaten here a few times and haven’t had any issues! I usually get the Thai Curry Fried Rice with Shrimp and Thai Summer Rolls (both are marked GF on the menu). When I asked they said even the peanut sauce served with the summer rolls is GF, and it’s is really delicious! Obviously everyone’s sensitivity is different but this place is safe for me.
Best Chinese restaurant in Golden! I think this is the fastest delivery I have had in my entire life. Everything was hot and delicious. I recommend getting the happy family with white sauce instead of brown sauce, just because it is fantastic that way, in my humble opinion. I also like to order Mongolian beef extra spicy with $2-extra beef and I mix some of it into my wonton soup with the crunchy noodles. It is always great, especially in the wintertime with a cup of hot tea! Thank you all for being so awesome and fast!!!~ Justin
got the soy-protein chicken, they tasted weirdly like meatballs which was... unsettling..
I used to really like this place. Unfortunately, I will never order from them again. The food arrived a half hour later than the 30 minute window I was told I would receive the food. The bag and the food were so cold, almost frozen, upon arrival. It took more than 6 mins in the microwave. warm
its pretty good greasy Chinese Food, a lot of vegetarian options, but currently are take out and delivery only. (March 2022)
I decided to give them a 3 based on our recent experience with them when my family was in town. We ordered delivery like usually, however, it was a big order. I truly do love the food here, but quickly learned when trying something new that we got ripped off. We asked for chow mein noodles to come with our curry soups and were given crispy egg noodles instead. You know, the stuff they give you for FREE with egg drop soup, but instead was charged $3.75 for. When we called them about the confusion, they assured us it was correct, even though we argued back and forth over what chow mein was.....They even have a photo in their menu of chow mein and still tried to say what they gave us was chow mein and instead only charged us $2 for it. Its not that big of a deal but the customer service and being lied to was really annoying. On top of it nothing was resolved. It just made the entire experience unpleasant and my parents only had soup and no chow mein meal to go with their soup even though thats what they offer on their website. Its fine that it doesnt come with it but then dont say it does! The kid on the phone was very unprofessional and honestly due to this experience we might not order from here again. It just really left a sour taste in our mouths. Especially for how expensive everything was. The food is good, I will say that, but the service......idk just be sure to clarify what things are before you actually order. Apparently chow mein is crunchy egg noodles lol.
I would say their food is amazing, never had a complaint in that front. However, they very frequently forget to include stuff in your order that you pay for when you order delivery. For example, the last 4 times I have gone here we upgraded to fried rice every time, and they never gave it to us. Then the last time we ordered from there my fiancé ordered a tofu dish and fried rice, they gave us a vegetables only dish and white rice. So I drove down there to correct it. And when I did they still forgot to give us the fried rice.Moral of the story, probably best to only eat in.
Takeout only since 2020. Got takeout on Saturday night and food was not the greatest. Rotten lime placed on top of Pad Thai, barely any veggies or chicken on it. Greatest meal was flavorless. Open up your dining room again and get a new chef and we will be back.
Ordered Szechuan Tofu Lunch - mostly rice instead of the tofu/veggies; tofu looked strange and tasted like it came out of their fridge already cooked and then warmed up; slim variety of veggies - I used to eat here more often with previous owner - work nearby - wont return again - yuck.
I ordered general tso chicken, and it was terrible the sauce was not on the chicken. And if it was, it was filled with oil and not good.
Delivery was on time, as requested. There was plenty of food, but it’s quite bland. And there are only 2 pieces of broccoli with my order. The meal is 98% chicken, which is upsetting because I like my vegetables.
I have now tried New Panda twice. The first time I got their Chicken Lo Mein, and it was below average. I gave them a second chance last week, and their General Tsos Chicken was terrible. The chicken was so tough I could not even chew it, and the sauce was runny and had no flavor. I threw it away and will not be going back there, ever again.
Orange check was not crunchy and dry from lack of sauce. The breading on the chicken was brittles dry soft to the bite. I also thought the Li mien was not tasty but I guess that’s how they make them. I’ll be going for white rice if come back
Very nice people but come back to rv park after picking up food and found out the chicken from the chicken and broccoli wasnt even cooked. It was raw meat and not even cooked. What place serves uncooked meat. Terrible food
I have ordered delivery multiple times from here. 4.8 miles from my home. Last two times I have tried to order they are saying I am too far away?Stay consistent please. The food is great but I am not driving out to get it when you have already delivered previously
The service is decent but the food is overpriced, the texture was weird, and it was extremely bland. The lo mein was literally just plain noodles. Why did I pay an extra 3 bucks for something that tastes worse than plain rice? Definitely wont come back again.
Just ordered garlic chicken and it tasted really bland i feel like eating oil. Not sure if thats how its supposed to taste but I am disappointed. I ordered a few other meals before in 2019 and it tasted good but just now I cant even finish half of it.
Very mediocre food. Fell sick after eating. I had ordered the Shrimp Tom Kha soup for 2 and the Szechuan Chicken. The soup was a disaster. Tom Kha is supposed to be tangy and zesty. This was essentially boiled shrimp water with faint hint spices. And it is supposed to serve two, but had 3 shrimp pieces. Absolute rubbish. I had to re-cook it at home with more spices to add the zing that was required. As for the Szechuan Chicken, it was a hopeless disappointment as well. Szechuan cuisine is supposed to be hot and spicy. This was at best mediocre. And it was filled with celery. 60% celery, 30% carrots and onions and 10% chicken. And I ordered "CHICKEN" Szechuan. Very VERY disappointed. Also I got diarrhea after this meal. Well not surprised with the quality of the food I received :(
Im not ashamed to admit that I order from here almost weekly. If youre looking for good, familiar, cozy chinese food to make you feel better about what is 2020 - this is your place. I order a variation of the same thing almost every time (crab cheese wontons, chicken fried rice, wonton soup, sesame chickenand its always consistent, always delicious. Delivery is quick and service is extremely friendly.
The chicken was soggy and dry at the same time, definitely old. There was quite a lot of false advertisement. The shrimp was flavorless. Fried rice had absolutely no veggies in it, and all of the rice was definitely old. I do not recommend going there.
General Taos chicken tasted like soggy KFC. Mongolian Beef tasted like the meat was soaked in beef ramen sauce. Very bland. The Vietnamese Egg rolls were horrible. The dog wouldnt even touch it. He eats everything. Sweet and sour sauce was watered down and gross. Wont be ordering from here any more. For over-priced Chinese food, I kinda expected it to at least taste good... Huge disappointment!
Ordered takeout and they did not give a pickup estimate, the order was wrong, and the food is mediocre and has no flavor. Ordered 3 different fried rice and not only was I missing a fried rice but they gave us all brown rice. Food is terrible and so is the service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE FOOD IS TERRIBLE.
If I could give this negative stars I would. We spent almost a hundred dollars on a family meal, plus tip and they majorly messed up nearly the whole order. We were upcharged for fried rice plus pork and chicken added and were given only brown rice. My sister, who is a vegetarian ordered tofu and was given chicken, and all of the sauces were completely watered down and everything tasted less than mediocre. We had to call to exchange the chicken dish for tofu and there was so much confusion coming from the staff that I did not even bother bringing up all the upcharges for food we did not receive because I felt it wasn’t worth the headache and argument. I can’t believe I wasted 94 dollars on this garbage and incompetent service.
We ordered some takeout from here over the weekend and Ive got to say, I was pretty blown away. Very unassuming on the outside, but this was some of the best chinese Ive ever had! The food was good, service was nice (complete with a piano accompanist and Avengers playing on the TV), and only took about 10 minutes for them to make three meals - granted we were the only ones in the restaurant. They have a great selection for vegans as well, which was a nice change of pace from some of the other places around here. I would definitely recommend this place, I just wish there was one close to where I live!
The place is cute and clean and the staff are great but the takeout we had was bad. The stir fried rice tasted totally off, like rancid or something. My bf and I didnt finish our food and actually just threw it out and later both had some stomach issues and the only thing we both ate the same was the rice.
Ordered Orange Chicken with fried rice and a spring roll for pickup. Once opening the food at home, the rice was very mushy, the sauce on the chicken was virtually non-existent, as it was the sauce contained so much liquid that it all settled on the bottom. Furthermore, eating the chicken produced a taste of vile-fat, which I am guessing originated from the frying oil. Perhaps use a bit less, or another oil, next time. The taste of fat, and the lack of sauce taste led me being unable to finish the food. I think this is the worst Chinese food I have ordered for take-out, and I have ordered cheaper Chinese takeout in the past. If you are the owner, or a worker reading this, please consider making changes to the menu. One star only for the semi-good Spring roll.
This was an amazing find! Large portions, clean tables, delicious food, and terrific service. Our waitress was incredibly kind and attentive to our party. Also a very calming atmosphere. We will definitely be stopping here again
Came here in May and the restaurant is nice inside. I was afraid I would be getting small portions of food but once we got the food I was relieved. They have generous portions and the food is good! The waitress was also kind. I was glad I came here
The sesame chicken is good. Its the best Chinese restaurant in Golden now that New Peach is closed. Food is very reasonably priced as well, especially considering the size of the portions. I normally have enough to take home for leftovers the next day.
All I can say is yuk . We ordered 50 dollars of food , and everyone said it was the worst . It appears they try and save on expensive ingredients , ie the szechuan chicken is a few pieces of meat , and shredded celery and onion .no wood mushrooms in the hot and sour soup and it was just bland and bad . never anyone in there , I have stopped before for fried rice for the kids , which they like . They dont have fresh vegetables , which I think is expected , no baby corn in the whole menu for example .
I spent $60 on a delivery order. The sesame chicken seemed like it had been cooked hours ago and sitting in a warmer. The wontons were dried out . The egg rolls also dried out. The lo mein noodles were horrible and plain. I will never order from here again
Great food, great service! They are very accommodating and they have lots of vegetarian/vegan options. I am vegan and went for the veggie orange chicken option, and it was so good! The portion was big enough to make into 3 meals. The staff was very friendly and I even dropped my napkin without noticing and one of the waiters literally just came by and grabbed it and handed me a new one. Definitely a new favorite!
A quite dive to enjoy mellow music and great portions of Asian food.
Hidden gem!Tucked between a liquor store and a dollar tree in a strip mall, this place looks pretty sketch from the outside. (Ive lived in Golden for 2 years, shopping the strip mall often, and have never thought to check it out until today)Inside offers a charming and modern atmosphere. We ordered the Thai spring rolls, Thai Tom yam soup, and Thai lime and ginger shrimp entree. Delicious! Friendly staff. We were super impressed and will be back!
The food was average and the table side service was non existent and the server was rude.My 13 year old son and I asked for to-go boxes as soon as our food arrived at our table. They seem more interested in the calls for take out service. Not a family friendly eatery.
I just ordered here, $35 for 3 items and it is gross! I chose this place because we wanted to try something new and it had pretty good reviews which I really dont understand. Everything tastes bland and overcooked, I got sesame chicken and vegetables lo main, which came with rice. Everything was soggy and the lo main was cold not just cooled down. It took 50 min to get here. I will stick to new China.
I cant speak on the restaurant but the delivery service was horrible. It took 2 hours to deliver 1.5 miles and we only got 1 out of the 3 orders of rice with no utensils or napkins (which matters to poor students). Would be one star since I feel we got screwed over for the amount of money we paid but the food we actually managed to receive was good.
I visit here often. The usual waitress is very polite and mannerful. I have never had a bad experience here. The portions have always been generous, and the preparation time is quite amazing. There is no sacrifice in quality, whatsoever. I am Vietnamese and Chinese, myself, so I am familiar with the general taste of the recipes. They do a great job here, and those who also visit often like myself know that this is quality food. The lunch specials are AWESOME, and I havent had anything else so delicious and filling for such a low price! Ive always been satisfied here and would recommend it to anyone.
