Try lunch buffet.. value for moneyOwner and service are very nice.. even though food is good, i feel some Indian flavour is missing..i feel lunch buffet need to target all kind of people.. will try next time menu and will update..

Wieder einmal hervorragend gegessen. Ambiente ist eher einfach aber die Kellner sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Die Portionen sind groß und wenn man mehrere Gerichte probiert dann bleibt immer etwas übrig zum nach Hause nehmen.

Reservierung per Email hat geklappt, Atmosphäre schlicht und entspannt, Service sehr freundlich und dezent, tolle vegetarische Auswahl, uns hat alles wunderbar geschmeckt, traumhaft gewürzt und große Portionen. Zum Abschluss gab’s noch einen indischen Schnaps aufs Haus. Preis-Leistung stimmig, wir kommen wieder!

Another Indian restaurant in Linz that serves North Indian food.The staff is very courteous and friendly. The food is just about ok. We had only vegetarian food. Rice is also served when dal is ordered and so it would be good to check on the portion of nan/roti that needs to be ordered if you plan to eat rice as well.

Awesome food with great hospitality. You wont feel missing India at least for Food when youre visiting New Namastey India at Linz, Austria.They provide complimentary Papads as a part of starters and complimentary rice with every curry/dal order. Garlic Nans, Dal Makhani and Kulfi I liked the Most.

Food is really good. I have been to various places in Europe for last 10 years. Other than 2 restaurants in Hamburg, almost everywhere i have seen that the real indian taste is missing in those food and they are somehow more Europeanised. The improvisation is necessary according to food taste of locals, i agree. But that should be upto a certain extent. As an indian, i found that, this restaurant has maintained that extent in a perfectly balanced way. Strongly recommended 😊 👍

I wanted to share you a worst experience today at New Namaste India ..I was having food with my friends and the owner of the shop came to me and said please dont use your hands to have food as other Austrian customers may not like it. And I was surprised because I was having only roti with my hand and I asked him how can I eat roti in spoon...And also they said us yesterday 3 south Indians came here and had food with hands And we ( new Namaste people felt awkward and made them to sit separate it seems .So its a bad attitude from them I experienced .. and I felt it even very bad after pointing out some other Indians .I was shocked and thought I not paying the same price as Austrians pay .. or whether am I a customer or some other animal to them .Dear Indians my kind request please dont go there since they are expecting only Austrians . We are considered as very local and cannot accept the way we eat .

Worst Attitude of doing Business ! They request you to not eat with Hand, which is authentic Indian way to eat , just because their reviews would go down on Facebook ! Why we shouldnt eat Indian food the way it is supposed to be eaten? And who are you to tell us how to eat?! Definitely not an "AUTHENTIC" Indian Restaurant if you feel this is a shameful act !

Buffet options are limited and not worth the money spent. And it was shocking when the owner asked us to not use hands to eat food in front of the Austrian customers. I dont know why an Indian restaurant expect an Indian customer to eat Naan with a spoon & fork.Went to an Indian restaurant hoping to experience some Indian authenticity but the rude comment showed that this restaurant is nothing but a business for them. RIP Atithi Devo Bhava. Very sad ☹️

All you can eat lunch buffet was great! 8,90€ per person, children 5,00€ choice of 6 curries, side dishes, a salad, pakoras, naan bread, poppadoms, sauces and a dessert. Delicious food and great value for money. A quite basic restaurant but with friendly and welcoming service. On street parking is possible in the surrounding areas or easily reachable with public transport.

The food is tasty. Well prepared and good displayed. Debit card accepted.We were searching for an indian "experience" for our first time eating indian cuisine, but were disappointed. Only some tapestry and indian music (I guess).I would recommend it if you are looking for good food. But for an indian experience flair, wrong place.
