New Madras Restaurant - Vegetarian restaurant in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
True taste of south Indian food of Madras. We have been enjoying their taste regularly for many years without change in their taste or services. It is very much recommended even they have north Indian thali. You can try any of their dishes and end with a very fine filtered coffee. Even though the place is simple but food and staff makeup for it. Try it once and you will not regret.Taste 09/10Ambience 07/10Service 09/10Value For Money 09/10
All time vegetarian option, typically for breakfast and Dinner for me coz of tiffins. Lunch they do have. This is completely South Indian style restaurant
Great food and Hospitality....
Both quality of food and service was bad
Best place who loves south Indian food. Had ghee roast which was amazing!
Authentic South Indian food.. Absolutely yummy filter coffee
Very nice restaurant the foods are up to the quality specially the idly, dosha set with Sambar chutney and all really awesome. The chai I don’t tell it’s good not up to the mark.
South indian tamil restaurant. I ate lunch and it was very satisfying
Hygienic and good vegetarian dishes.Masala Dosa is just average.
A good place to have food any time of the day. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner all are tasty and economical too 👍. Dont forget to try out their yummy gulab jamun too 😋
I went to the restaurant today at 8,50 pm and asked for the menu. the person in the country said they do not have a menu card . I found one the table and questioned him , he bluffef that its for the done in ..I had a very horrible experience . I request no one should go tjere-
It is good place for the people who loves south indian food. Very reasonable and clean place.
I had Pongal vada and Veg Biriyani all were tasty.
Delicious and amazing experience. Decent place to visit with family.
The place is good. The food is good. A decent vegetarian restaurant with some yummy dishes served hotly.
22 hours agoNEWReally disappointed from the quality of food.... AND parcel service time.... almost 1.35 minutes....Dear .. restaurant owner, FYI... and necessary action..... great customer service is essential ...Thanks
Try puranpoli , reasonably priced all breakfast and lunch , fully south indian. Try pongal for breakfast.
Price versus quality is not matching. High priced for such a vegitarian restaurant but the quality of food is not up to mark. For service 60% mark only can be given. Hand wash area is really messy. Washrooms are with foul smell.
Good taste here specially south Indian tiffin and snacks items. They treat the customers very well. No parking facility available, seating arrangements little bit congested. No crowd in week days, waiting may be required in weekends.
Exceptional vegetarian menu with reasonable price compared with other veg restaurants around here. Much recommended. They are doing a honest job by putting the packing charges separately on the Bills but I highly recommend to exclude that for the time being.
The best vegetarian restaurant in Sharjah. Tried almost all their dishes. Amoung them Masala dosa is my favourite. The white, tomato & pudina chutneys are very tasty. The Medhu Vada is so crispy and tasty. South Indian filter coffee is a must try item for all those who come here. Highly recommended.
Tasty vegetarian food with affordable and less price, but space not very big.
Its is located near mega mall...food quality and taste is good and neat an clean restaurant. Try mini tiffen and coffee..here u will get namma oor filter coffee..☕
Food and staffs are good.... But am shocked only one thing.... Packing charges for take away orders.....😛😛😛thats my 1 st experience in uae since 2010....more you parcel.... More packing charges will come....
One of my favourite South Indian restaurant in Sharjah. Authentic dishes with mouth watering chatnieas......,😋
Me and my wife loved dining here, the food was absolutely delicious and if you compare it with Saravana and Aryas restaurant, this is much worth and taste amazing.
Good south indian food, no fresh milk tea avaible is only a complaint😀, staff is so cooperative
Its a pure vegetarian restaurant. I liked all the dishes there, pricing also is in a affordable range, very neat and clean. Good for dine inn with family...
Food is great, but as the name suggests it is tamil style. The ambience comes with the typical tamil style nostalgia though it could have been better.
Value for money food. Delicious meal. Rich variation in food options. Clean neat and traditional ambiance with modern touch.
Delicious food, service need to improve a bit ... nothing to complain
Paper masala dosa was excellent good for two persons
A High quality Vegetarian Restaurant Economically priced with South and North Indian Dishes Menu choices attached for your reference.Try MEDU VADA without Fail its Hot with crispy exterior and soft too,Dont miss to add in your Menu while ordering.Variety of Sweets also available for take out.PARKING please drop your family & friends in front of the shop & use backside of Mega Mall Kacha parking its a few minutes walk since very few paid slot available in front of the Restaurant. Enjoy the food with your family and friends.
No comments on food items here, as an Indian everyone will like the taste and feel of place for the value which we pay...should say taste is better than the value....very economical...
Authentic Tamil style hotel. Sumptuous yet budget friendly deal if you take a mini meal. I can give five star for their filter coffee.👍
The food was good but one of the curry they gave for punjabi thali was stale. So we couldnt enjoy a lot.
A decent vegetarian restaurant in heart of Sharjah City. Decent sitting arrangement and cleanliness found. Food is rated good on South Indian cuisine especially from Madras Region in South of India. Could not add pictures as not taken. Will surely do after my next visit
Variety of options with hospitality. Xcdpt Limited seating capacity, everything is good. Must try: Mini Tiffin + coffee.
I have tried few times from here! Good place for south Indian breakfast. Choices are limited but taste wise okay. But not felt much ambiance. But decent seating and separation for family dining.Recommended.
Vegetarian food for reasonable price. Suitable for family
A very good veg restaurant for all the veg lovers. You with get wide variety of tasty South Indian foods here. You are gonna love it. Do try this restaurant when you pass by.
Food is okay... but very congested and bad service.. people wait for ur seats ... dont go there especially if u r alone.... i was asked to switch my seat for a family and eventually lost my seat after ordering food!
A good south indian joint for breakfast and savouries..
One of the best South Indian restaurants in this area. Affordable option. The lunch thali Is only for aed 14 and aed 16 for punjabi. Their tea and coffee is amazing.
veg place... but everytime they will say cook will go now, so order soon.. or cook not yet started so item not there... dont like the smell that comes.. think its the cleaning supplies they use... service is not so hospitable... keeps rushing to take order...
Great place for a traditional South Indian breakfast. Limited choices but tasty food and great service! Not too spacious but has decent seating and separate dining area for families.
Home delivery is horrible experience.always...be it a week day or week end...i just hate the time they take to deliver..min 1 hour..no use even after complaints...and wrong items are delivered couple of times...if u want to dine in u need to look for parking space....which will consume time.food is ok...
The food is not costly yet tasty Tamil food. I love everything there particularly Poori Baki, Medu Vada. They most of the time provide a glass of veg soup which is very simple. I have been visiting two of their locations including this for the last 10 years. All the staffs are very friendly.
I went at 1:15 Pm on Friday(27/10/17to Shj br. The only gentleman who was on the phone for 10-15 minuets. I called him for the order, he didn’t give attention and meanwhile he said food is not ready at this time. I felt bad and I left. The owners don’t know all these bullshits.
Very tasty south Indian cuisine served here. Idlis are fluffy and Dosas are crisp and tastes authentic.
