We went today morning at 8Am as google showed it’s open from 8am but when we visited the place the owner told us that it’s opening at 8.30am. The Owner is so rude and incosiderate same as staff.Don’t recommend this place for anyone ever.

Friendly and polite staff. The food is at best average. Gave it ago based purely on the reviews, especially one lady saying it was the best lankan food in Melbourne. Its not! There are far better places. The food was okay. The portions are big, so you get quantity for money but not quality.

Great hospitality. Loved their customer service. Had lunch there today. It was a quiet afternoon, and the food was great. I also took home some fish buns, they were great too. Would highly recommend this place.

The food itself was good enough, not excellent. Made per order. There was no menu, no photos, nothing. If youre not a person from the culture youre probably going to struggle finding something to order.

Thanura does a great job with creating authentic Lankan food. Really tasty and have been buying for years. The food is always fresh and never runs out. Kola kanda is a great addition to the menu. Highly recommend.

We ordered food for the Christmas dinner. The food was beyond words. Fantastic , Everyone who attended appriciate the taste and presentation. Couldnt fault anything even if we put an effort to do so.They even sent an extra dish saying its a Christmas gift from the shop.Best of all was that they delivered to Somerville 30km plus (in Mornington Peninsulaat a very reasonable fee.All the guests and us do thank you for the fantastic food , ontime delivery and sending a lot more than we need, So now we have enough food till the new year.

I was craving chicken kothu and found this new place. The kothu was above average in home made style. The chicken rolls were well made.

Nice Buffett..initially given 3 stars now a 5 star great range including crabs and chicken devel..very reasonable price all you can eat around 12-14 per person..I also liked the fish bun and rolls ..I generally take away as Im not a big eater..owner is very friendly as well..

Bought takeaway lunch, chicken friedrice and devil chicken, but it was egg fried rice with fried curry chicken on top. Even the devilled chicken was made out of fried curry chicken, which was absolutely waste of money and not happy. I would not reccomond this resturent to anyone.

The food tastes great. Typical Sri Lankan curries. The fish buns and the seeni sambol buns are a treat!

Owner is is a nice person. But some issues as food prices are not displayed properly.Pros are you got free parking. Few spaces available. Not a very busy place during lunch time. Could recommend the place.
