Do not get married. Once you get married, the state controls you, your money, your assets, and your freedom. It is a misandrist system rigged against you. The only people more corrupt than a politician is a NH judge. I have been taking my wife back to family court for 11 years for what she owes me in marital debt. During that time, judges have violated my due process rights, my ex-wife is allowed to perjure herself without consequence, and I have not received discovery for any court hearing in 11 years. Rule 1.25-A is a "mandatory" disclosure rule. Judge Foley refused to accept my Petition for Divorce based on adultery while violating Rule 38 using coercion to cajole me into changing my petition to a breakdown of the marriage. Judge Ashley used the information in 5 motions that were not adjudicated to rule against me. Referee Cross completely ignores discovery requests, holds on to motions until after the hearing so he can simply moot discovery motions, and schedules hearings so quickly after a ruling you have no time to respond. All the respondent has to do is ignore discovery motions until after the hearing. You should all be aware you are entitled to discovery PRIOR to a hearing in most states but not NH. Check out the complaints against judges filed with the NH Supreme Court. I couldnt find a single complaint that wasnt dismissed.
MoreWebsite extremely difficult to navigate. Keeps instructing to reload, repeatedly. Unable to log in as member. This is typical. I would rate no stars but the only way to leave a comment is to give a star.No improvement 10 months later. Much time and effort expended to post CLE credits via my portal. Finally emailed tech support. Being a weekend I persisted and FINALLY got system to respond. Notably other aspects of site were working smoothly such as processing payment, etc. for bar sponsored CLEs and site open to public to either seek assistance in finding an attorney or to lodge a complaint against a member of the bar. Have emailed tech support to disregard previous em, as a courtesy from here. Conservative estimate of time spent for entire endeavor in excess of 90 minutes. It should have taken 15 minutes or less.21 July 2021. Unable to get into member directory and efforting to get certificate of good standing. As to COGS called bar. Had to leave message for call back. Website seems worse than ever for attorneys, smooth sailing for the public and to buy CLE.
MoreCalled about public paralegal info. On Hold for 30 mins. The Banks control these type of business.
MoreI needed their # so I found them on Google, a few of these so-called "reviews" caught my eye, so I began combing through these "reviews" and frankly I was shocked by how vulgar and insulting and disrespectful many of these "reviews" were - I am deeply embarrassed for those people who lowered themselves and resorted to name-calling and cheap shots instead of constructive criticism (which we can all benefit from- the men and women at the NHBA are very hardworking and decent people, committed to helping those less unfortunate - try showing some respect AND remember that a review criticizing the intelligence of the subject will always have more impact when it doesnt contain misspellings - any review which calls the subject or the target of the review a stupid idiot should be spell-checked, otherwise we call that a "miss" - what happened to all of the classy people?
MoreThe only place to go to find the right lawyer to help. The staff is professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Would be lost without the referral service!
MoreAllowed fools to run the dump
total hacks
Very strange
Best place for lawyer referals!!
All the worst moves here
Dumb bumpkins
lazy and stupid....two traits of inbred nh people
NH bar is a great resource to help find an attorney experienced in the specific areas of the law.
MoreIf you are looking to hire an attorney in New Hampshire, look no further than the New Hampshire Bar Associations Lawyer Referral Service. No need to just google attorneys and then cross your fingers that you are getting someone who is reputable and experienced. This service pre-screens attorneys to ensure that theyre experienced and in good standing with the ethics board. They also verify that they have malpractice insurance (always a good protection). They are a great one stop shop to finding the best resource to meet your legal needs.
MoreThis is an important service the NH State Bar provides to the community. A much safer way to find a lawyer than countless other options. Highly recommended.
MoreAs a new member to the bar, the NHBA has been one of the most welcoming, friendly, and helpful organization I could have hoped for. When unique issues have arisen, they have always gone the extra mile to understand my question, help me when they could, or point me in a direction to help myself.Thank you!
Morei have been working with the NH Bar staff for almost 40 years. They are among the hardest working, most professional and easiest group to work with I have dealt with. They are highly responsive to the needs of NH lawyers and judges. In my experience they do their very best to respond to a wide range of issues brought to them by members of the public. I have never had a bad experience with any member of the NH Bar staff.
Moremorons...thats what works here.
First, I am an NH attorney admitted about 2 1/2 years ago. The NH Bar has always been very friendly and helpful to me, and, as far as I know, any of the people I have referred. From a community point of view, I am very familiar with the DOVE program to assist victims of domestic violence. When a DOVE client starts crying and says no one has ever cared about them before, I get the idea that the NH Bar must be doing something right.
MoreI dont agree with the negativity of the other reviews. The NH Bar Center offers a lot of helpful services to attorneys and to the public. They have a small but useful law library, free conference rooms available to meet with clients who live far away and need to meet you halfway, free photocopies and printing, and a computer and phone in every conference room. You can even book a conference room online, without having to even pick up the phone. For the public, the Bar Center houses the Lawyer Referral Service, the Reduced-Fee Lawyer Referral Service, the Pro Bono Program Coordinator, and the Domestic Violence Emergency ("DOVE"Project Coordinator. The bar aims to aid attorneys and the public, and in my experience has always done so professionally and courteously. In my opinion, the Bar Center staff does not receive nearly as much credit as they deserve.
Morestupid and lazy workers. if us lawyer werent forced to pay for these hacks, they would be eating dog food collectiong welfare
Morei called to ask a question and you can tell that they are the most stupidest people. once i said i was from massachsetts, they assumed i was black and not worthy of an answer. sad association.
