Massive, vibrant dance club in an 1859 industrial space, with DJs, live events & an outdoor space.
The crowd is disgusting. Worst Ive ever experienced. No respect whatsoever. Probably because the crowd is so young. Seriously disgusting.
Honestly, the worse place in Montreal to party. The sound quality was pathetic. They brought Meduza, but the show really bad. Also tried the restaurant, everything was super salty. The hummus/dips where delicious tho. The heat situation was out of control, they don’t even have a decent AC. To be honest if I could give zero stars to a place in Montreal, it would be to this place for sure.
Amazing Venue, beautiful scenery and themed bars. Sound was food, a bit packed at time but nothing unexpected.
Saw Cash Cash here years ago. Seemed like the place was at 25% capacity. Saw Lost Frequncies yesterday and seemed like it was at 150% capacity. No room to move, nevermind dance. Downstairs is nice, so are the staff and drinks are priced well.
If the event is sold out, good luck. They cram too many people into GA. Honestly it sucks because otherwise this place would be great. Top tier sound and lights.
Good club, great acoustics, with some great DJs on a regular! Expect dropping a good amount of cash at the bars though.
Black coffee event was horrible! No organization, and no management whatsoever. As someone who has been to a lot of clubs world wide, I have never seen such a service for table bookings, it took me 15 mins to get to my table and both tables and walk ins were on the same line. Why should we pay such an amount without getting any privilege. I reserved a table for 15 people, after only letting in 7 people in they had told us the table was full. There was no host/hostess to walk us to our tables in able to verify who has entered, or incase of big events give tables codes to make sure no one is entering under your name.So we tried to speak with Allana the head of hostesses, and she was so rude to us. In conclusion, it was a mess.
I went to Aloks concert, it was wonderful. Excellent club.
Pretty clean. Staff is nice. Place is SICK. So chic yet so epic. I had the best time there and little tiny raves happened which made it even cooler, it was so packed! Drinks are great, coat check takes forever but thats all right! Haha. I had a blast! Will definitely go back!
if you’re living in mtl and not going to New City Gas events, you are truly missing out. Massive events with 3 dj sets in multiple floors, great music, great atmosphere.
I recommend this place to no one. I have seen people being mistreated by a group of people that arent customers neither staff. There is a strange thing going on in this place. Dont go there!
Very nice place, the space is larger than it seems to be from outside.
Amazing decor! The music is great, service is perfect. This place is just magical. you feel like you are in Morocco or Mexico. Its really exotic and decorated with great taste.Cocktails are good. The food though is not great. I had the tigre shrimp with Safran risotto and they were tasteless though really expensive. I would expect really tasty food for the price. I hope they can improve their menu. Ill be back!
This place is everything a club should be. Coming from Vermont, this is usually my go to venue whenever I want to see any of the bigger names in EDM. The club is well laid out and the sound system is great. Great drink prices for a higher end club ($7 usd for a Heineken). In my experience, staff is generally pretty friendly & professional and does a great job with moving the entrance line quickly. One thing I will say is that I think they could do a better job letting people out in a timely matter at the end of the show (they let VIP & people who got a table leave first), but I think it was much better organized at the Andrew Rayel show last night compared to when I went to see Alesso. Other than that Ive never had a bad time here & cant wait to be back!
It keeps getting better! Ive been going here for about 10 years. Early in its history it was often overbooked, crowded and poorly laid out. Theyve made some big changes and its absolutely great. They really go over the top for some of their events, and the galleries around are very interesting. The place has a more open feel and an almost festival like vibe with its multiple spaces.
entry fee starting at 35$music shows by edm dj’s held until 3amvery big venue and lots of place to dancevip section on two sideslots of security guardgood sound system
Great venue and show, but never had an experience like this with a bartender - I ordered 2 shots of rum, he proposed Tequila and I was like sure. He then asked if he and his busboy can take shots with us. I was ok with it, until I realized he added the shots on the bill? Are these guys just ordering shots for themselves from customers? I ended up bargaining for a free shot which he gave me, although I’m never booking a table here again. To the African bartender with glasses in the back for Nora en Pure night.
Beautiful, great venue, pricey bars tucked everywhere ($55 for 2 highballs & 2 vodka shots), beautiful spaces, excellent sound, great bathroom for a sold out concert venue, minimal lines.
Had the most amazing experience here. The whole venue is just out of this world.
Absolutely top notch venue. Has a bit of everything. A cool courtyard bar area with exposed brick, string lights and plenty of seating. A big open concert area and a smaller modern bar area downstairs with plenty of seating as well.
Killer venue! Huge, great sound, great stage. Cant wait to go back next time Im in Montreal
Went there for Alan walker, it was lit!!
After the event, security said we were not allowed to use the washrooms. They literally told us to pee outside. When we tried to do that nearby security (different personasked what we were doing and then chaperoned us inside to use the washroom when we explained what we were told to do. However, they only allowed a select few to use the washrooms one last time. Thankfully one of my group made the cut. Obvious signs of certain staff tripping with power. Some staff members were specifically confused on the best way to get out of the building. We asked them the best way out only to get lost, ask them again, and then they said they honestly dont know. Maybe figure that out before working security. What if there was a real emergency?Incredibly long line to get in to a ticketed event, even for a late night venue standard. Once in you can clearly see why. Many security and staff just standing around making sure you go downstairs and into the bar once past security. Maybe you should help ticketing staff and security staff get people in the door before yelling at them to "go downstairs." I counted 2 or 3 max people scanning tickets, while there was a crowded line as long as two flights of stairs packed with people.I was yelled at for wanting to wait for my friend to finish his security pat down. God forbid I coordinate with my group getting in to the venue that we have never been to before - see point above about confusing venue layout. It must be a good use of money to pay staff to yell at people instead of making sure they are getting in safely and timely. One of my friends was yelled at for taking too long to open her purse for bag check. Security said she was too slow and needed to hurry up, then just let her go through without checking.Bar staff are severely understaffed and once again not acting like they care very much. Not in much of a rush to serve the customers ready to pay.The venue itself is awesome, besides for it feeling like there is no air conditioning. The lights and smoke/pyro really are world class. It is a shame that the staff act like they are only there for the pay check. Can you imagine being told to pee outside?
I had the BEST experience with the bartender Tzvi!!! He works on Sundays and he is awesome. I will definitely come back for tzvi he made our night.
Such a cool place! Nice vibe to hold events and it opens till 1 am. Drinks are good too. I discovered the inner area, the red light decor is so beautiful at night, and they have a swing bed(you gotta go check), restaurant, a shop, and second floor(I didn’t get to discover due to a private party). Definitely ideal to host your party or event here ;)
Enjoyed an amazing day party at this venue. Staff and service was amazing. My only suggestion is with the summer construction 🚧 and closures parking can be difficult. So avoid the hassles and parking tickets. Head on straight to the indoor parking lot at Adonis.
Beautifull venue, great job on sprucing up a heritage building. Well done
Beautiful venue. Was booked for a private function and everything was fantastic. Polite staff, amazing atmosphere, a truly magical night.
Sad very sad club.. I have a feeling the ac doesn’t even work.. they should probably fix it.. the whole place was like a hot yoga session. Was very disgusting..Went for above and beyond but the club was badly equipped for large crowds. Will come back when they will have air conditioning working.. because last night it was very very bad.DJs were fantastic but the venue air flow was really bad.Edit : we had to buy our own water at 5$ the bottle sadly, did not receive any water to cool down :( we bought close to 70$ of water for 4 people.Well make sure ac work next time and we will be back again!
The space is large and beautiful. The drinks are overpriced and when I asked the bartender if I could tip her on card because I was low on cash, she seemed bothered by it but I tipped her regardless of the lack of smile or warmth of her service. Maybe she was having an off night.
They sold more tickets than there is available place for people. Aggresive guards trying to take controll without too much succsess.
Very chill nightclubs for events, but pretty pricey for the amount they give you in your drink. It is also extremely HOT inside, no air to breathe or ventilation going on when you’re in the crowd.
Hot. No wine at the bar. Lots of elbows in the crowd. They searched my wallet pretty extensively for drugs. Felt invasive. Made me feel like no good people go there. Some of the other patrons were looking around with a disgusted look, same as me. I left after a couple of songs. Cant recommend.
Fun very "in" place. Love the décor
The bouncer racially profiled me and my friend, advising us that this place was "not like a McDonalds," insinuating that we could not afford the food or fit into the sophistication of the place. I guess his stereotypical mind couldnt fathom that he was speaking to a student doctor. Definitely wont be wasting my time at this place. It is very interesting how this establishment plays Black-artist music without cease, while simultaneously refusing Black people from entering in. Interesting. This place is a no for me.
The largest and most Spectacular Venue in the province !!! Incredible sound and lights show.Highly recommend 👌.
Awesome venue! We went there yesterday for the first time to see Cosmic Gate and had a fabulous time! Best club in Montreal, ever!
The best nightclub in Montreal. Ive been there at least a couple dozen times and it always feels like a festival! The music, the lights, the people, the vibe... Its all epic. I just love this place! Alex K and Produkt bring the best DJs from around the world, so make sure to buy your tickets in advance. I prefer going VIP: its worth saving time avoiding the lineup and having more space to dance in the less crowded VIP area, and you have more bars to choose from so its less of a lineup for drinks.
Went to the intangible forms. And it was amazing, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Always new events in new city gaz
I really enjoyed this laser expo! As someone who doesnt enjoy music festivals or nightclubs it was a cool way to experience lights in a more calm environment without the noise and peer pressure to drink or do drugs! 👍
This place is very big, has a VIP section at the mezzanine on both sides of the room, which has a separate small unisexbathroom for VIP. Theres a very big unisex bathroom for regular ticketed people which is more worth it go to go even if its a bit further. Has a coat check for 4$. Throws nice special events with great decors, good DJs, worth checking out.
Thursday happy hour is where it is at in the city of Montreal. You can not find a better venue. It is so much fun, great crowd, great service and beautiful people. They know how to treat their clientele and you can tell.
Good space for event. Industrial look. Decent capacity. VIP lounge areas were a bit fiddly to access but cozy. Staff was polite and diligent.
Went for a cosmic Gate night on one of the coldest weekends in MTL 2019. It was still crazy packed, we did bottle service. The service was pretty amazing. We got in easy, fast, and everyone enjoyed themselves. Maybe too crazy on the Dom but first world problem. Would come back to check out to her special events for sure
Very large dancefloor, plenty of space to move around and dance. The DJs were great and had good music throughout the night. Drinks are a bit expensive but that is expected. All in all, I had a great night and will definitely be going again!
My work party was here last month. Very nice venue, great staff and the food was amazing!Parking however, wasnt the most pleasant experience. Loads of construction in the area, leave ahead to make it on time!
Loved this place. I went there to see concert of Alan Walker which was amazing. I heard a lot about this place, and wanted to check it out. Its the best club I have even been in my life.Perfect ambience with high ceilings, really good services and enough space for everyone to dance on music.A one kind of washroom. Its an art which you will love.Sound is perfect with really good lighting, laser and effects. It does not matter where you stand up, you will feel the music.
Very nice place to enjoy a 5 a 7 with coworkers or friends, very tasty sangria cocktails and staff is always smiling ! Valet parking is available at the cost of 25$. The bathroom is really well designed and every painting is original ! Loved it
Cool venue for live music and dancing. I think they water down their drinks because I had so many drinks and felt completely sober. I have a low tolerance, so something was strange. Found the same thing happened to my friends.
The venue was great but the drinks were very overpriced and the bar staff were rude. Came here for an event function in March 2017.Shots were $7 CAD and everything else was $9. I ordered a single shot of tequila and the barmaid gave me two. I told her I only ordered one (which my friends witnessedand she continued to insist I ordered two, even calling over security to try to force me to pay for it. Luckily I only had $10 (why I only ordered one shotso she reluctantly took it back. The DJ was above average and the lighting and atmosphere was cool, just a shame about the prices and staff.
