New China Restaurant in Gadsden

Very nice family that runs this restaurant. The service is fast. The serving sizes are large for the price. Great food

First time here and ordered the chicken lomein and potstickers. Food was good and a good price for the portions

I got to new china after I got off work, stood at the door, and saw the lady behind the counter see me, I read that I had to call to place my order so I did, and it rang for two minutes before I watched them turn off the store lights and the open sign thirty minutes early. If the hours are wrong online change them or say something while im standing outside your place of business. This was just rude.

As I was picking up our food, I saw roaches in the dining area.

I ordered 3 dishes and they were super bad , the chicken taste funny and we had to throw it away !

Ordered General Tso combo. Only thing that tasted good was the egg roll. Never again

The food is always excellent! However, the cook/owner doesnt wear a mask while cooking. The cashier wears one to take orders and hand them out. Her BF who was there, didnt wear one at all. Three customers didnt wear a mask and were waiting inside on their order. This place is not safe unless you are fully vaccinated and wear a mask. Then theres the possibility that your food and its container have particles containing Covid-19 on them. You decide.

They don’t understand what PLAIN means... called our order in today and told them I wanted plain honey chicken and plain fried rice which means NOTHING in the food... first time it had onions all in the chicken with plain rice then the second time they had pork in the rice with onions in the chicken, not to mention how rude they were 🙄 will NEVER go back again...

Best Chinese food around. It tastes amazing and its the REAL dishes and not any idea of it. You get what you order and theres NO question that its what you ordered.

Service is slow here. Only orders at window, if she even comes to the window.

Foods good, a little different for most other Chinese places Ive had but in a good way. Love the rice its also different from most Ive had. Also its the only place around with boneless spare ribs and my husband loves them.

They only accept cash 💸. The food is sub pair chicken was too hard to eat.

This by far is the best chinese food in Gadsden its always fresh and hot and the customer service is more than great and the prices are unbeatable

1st we ordered chicken egg foo young, got home & had shrimp egg foo young. 2nd our order of beef mongolian had little meat in it. 3rd we ordered separate boxes of fried rice and they put it in one box. This visit was very disappointing 😕

Wonderful service and food is delicious! The price for lunch is only $4.50 and that comes with soup rice and a drink or egg roll. Best Chinese food around!!

Worst Chinese food I’ve ever ate. Craved it so bad, so disappointed. Very old food. My fried rice was nothing but three different types of onion - barely any rice. My sesame chicken was super old. Eggs rolls old. And cream cheese crab Ragoons disgusting and once again OLD. Everything seemed to be made the day before. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

Was okay not much flavor or spice. I talked to the cook and wanted very very spicy. Got bland on a menu item that should already be spicy.

Ordered Shrimp Fried Rice and Pork Fried Rice with fried chicken wings. Just left from the restaurant and found an insect in our rice. Not happy at all.

The food here was excellent! The shrimp are big in the seafood delight I had as well as the dish my husband had. Its alot of food so we can actually have a second meal with the leftovers we had. The shrimp egg rolls actually had small whole shrimp in them. Everything was wonderful! There is not a lot of seating but I think most business is take out.

Our waitress only got 2 of 4 of our orders correct. My husbands order that was incorrect, finally came 20 minutes after everyone elses order. She leaned across my plate of food to fill another persons glass.Not happy at all with the service. Not speak good enough English even showing what we wanted on the menu.

The egg drop soup was good but other than that not so great. I got chicken fried rice it was just some grilled chicken with yellow rice that was it. Will not be back to this place going to go back to the Chinese restaurant up by Martins

Low prices, awesome food, u get plenty of food for your money. Lunch specials are cheap. The dinner sesame chicken has enough that my wife and I split it. So great savings. This is the only place in Gadsden I will eat Asian food

We get take out from here about once a week. The food is always good and the staff are always friendly.

Ordered boneless chicken with vegetables and when we got home and opened the food there were roach pieces on the fried chicken. I will never go back there. Very nasty I dont know how they pass health ratings to stay in business.

The cashier the only lady in there is always so nice to me I eat there at least once every 2 week and there house looks mein is the best

I got there sesame chicken with fried rice combo and there was a very small cockroach in it. I definitely would not recommend getting food here.

I order from New China about two times a month. Never disappointed in their food. I think their Hot & Sour soup is the best in Gadsden - think and spicy! Their prices are very good. It is basically take out so do not be disappointed in zero atmosphere. But Sherry, who takes your orders and all the men cooking are very, very nice.

Food is very good always fresh love the sesame beef always crispy unlike some other Chinese restaurants
