New China House in Marietta

Today was my first time eating here and based on the reviews and my experience the food was excellent.

This is a small place but it offers a huge lineup of food. Dont let the name fool you can also get really good Thai food here.

Best orange chicken I’ve ever had. Lived in GA and love it! Now in NY. Can’t find orange chicken like it in NY. 🧐 I’ve been searching. None found. My dad loves their curried chicken with mixed veggies! So fast, hot, and delicious. There are 5 Chinese restaurants near us but we would drive miles away for Sam! Worth the drive! Love it! ❤️👍

It was OK..Nothn Special.Beef LoMein was pretty good.Orange Chicken was Meh..Red Chile Sauce and Sweet n Sour..Tasty but Not Orange Chicken...NOBL1

Food is fast, quick, taste good, good portions, affordable. What more do you want from Chinese Takeout. I will come again.

Pu pu platter for 2 was kinda small barely enough for one, not good for the price. Thai coconut soup was good. Phoenix and dragon soup was good too. Quick service walked in order and food was ready in about 10 minutes.

I used to order from them all the time. When I called and gave my address I was told in a very rude way that they don’t deliver it’s too far. They are 3 miles from me. Why bother offering delivery if you’re not even going to deliver a 5 mile radius as most restaurants do. If I remember correctly they have great food but their customer service is terrible.

I ordered food and since I have a voice of a little kid they did not take my order serious

My go to place for Chinese. I came in here slightly intoxicated once and the staff was super funny and sweet. I’ve never had a complaint about this place!

They have the best vegetable egg rolls ! And great portions .

I come here about 3 times a week for lunch, now you can order online. It’s always hot and fresh, and they are always so nice and friendly

Ive been coming here for years now this place is amazing they always serve great food at a good price, plus the menu is huge so you have alot to choose from and they even deliver.

Re-heated old food. It was not a good choice. The restaurant is small and dirty. Very low class

My favorite place to get Chinese. Used to live closer years ago but I eventually moved away. When I moved back to Marietta, I make the effort to drive a little farther to go here than the place closer to me. Always fast, takeout or delivery. General Tso’s is great, as is the Mongolian Beef and Orange Beef. Thai Coconut soup and Rangoons are awesome as well.

Every time I dine in or do delivery my food always comes fast and delicious! Also customer service is great! They are always happy and so attentive. I love New China house, thank you!

I ate here on Christmas day. Ordered Hunan Chicken and Hot and Sour Soup. It was brought to my table literally within two or three minutes piping hot and delicious.

Food was fast reasonably priced and good, is recommended for carryout. Dining area is clean and comfortable. Counter person was less than friendly.

I wont order here. They say you have to pay for food thats only one size. There is no large or small here.

Great place to eat! I can’t speak for the store itself, as I only place delivery orders, but the food is always incredible! I usually stick to the sesame chicken dinner with their amazing egg drop soup! My better half tends to get the chicken fried rice, which I have tasted, and it is to die for. Delivery man is always pleasant and super polite. I always ask for them to call when the delivery is here, so I can meet them outside without my dogs huddling around the door. I definitely recommend this place!

Great customer service and the food was awesome! Love the seaseme chicken!! The people that operate this place actually come from china so they know their stuff! Size matters in the bed but not in a restraunt!

Been to New China House a few times now the first time the food was great. The next 2 times the food was pretty rough. If your hungry and near by it will do, but I certainly wouldnt go out of my way to go there!

Started off as my go to restaurant every week. Now I have been disappointed the last two orders. The first one the chicken wings was old. The smelled and taste bad. The second order I ordered egg fried rice! Received the order and thought I was given the wrong rice so I called. The guy said the eggs are very small. Did not know it would be rice with two small crumbs of eggs! Definitely my last time ordering from them. I love the delivery guy, he has a great attitude!

Ive been coming to this restaurant for years and I never get tired of them.. the guys are so kind and Amazing any time Im on this side of town o visit them

Food was tasty and fast service but request to substitute noddles for white rice was $4!! Also no brown rice

chicken does not look or taste like this I bite a piece of the so called general tos chicken and it tasted weird at first but i ignored it as i looked at the meat i seen a piece that looked like a little arm once i seen the indents of the fingers i instantly spit out the food i couldnt get a good shot of the arm or hand so i took a pic of the leg that you see here circles in the red it also left a sour taste in my mouth for some reason... And chicken doesnt curl up to a ball like this either only animals being killed alive or is being fried.. this looks like a mouse to me im never going here again

Just placed an order here. It took 1 hour to get to my house and when it arrived it wasnt hot or fresh 😐 also I asked for no vegetable in my rice and they gave me some anyway. And my orange chicken was hard as a rock ☹

Not the first time Ive had food delivered but will definitely be the last. Ordered an entree and told the guy on the phone specifically no shrimp (allergies). Guess what it came with shrimp anyways. Now for the kicker. Ordered potstickers and the sauce had a marinated dead bug in it. Its 23° on New Years Day, I havent seen a bug flying in months....so how long has this been there. Absolutely disgusting. -5☆ if I could. Called back and just got the runaround until they hung up on me.

We ordered dinner tonight from New China House. The rice tasted bad, the two order of sesame chicken were burnt, and the shrimp had too much breading on it. We will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Their lunch specials are the best deal in Marietta for lunch. Call it in for pick up, "5 minute", its ready when you get there! Id also say it ranks pretty high as far as best tasting Chinese food in the area goes, regardless of price.

Best Chinese delivery experience I have had in a really long time. Food was hot, tasted amazing, and delivered very quickly.

Picked up a to go order on 8/27/17. I was the only customer and a middle aged Asian was behind the counter, an older Asian male was sitting watching tv, and the teenage Asian male was sitting watching as well. After I paid for my food and was walking out , the older Asian male looked at me and called me the "N" word. I was appalled! The younger male chuckled. I will make sure I share this review on every social media sure they are affiliated with.

The food was not all that good. The customer service was very poor because when I asked the person on the phone about one of the dishes, they rudely told me to "look it up". I was not satisfied, and I do NOT recommend going to this restaurant.

Food is alright. It deserves a 3 star. Not the best Chinese food ever but not the worst.However the person who takes orders at night is very rude and needs to work on his customer service skills and tone. That alone will chase customers away. He needs to be given another position that isnt answering phones or interacting with customers. I call up here to order food all the time and he is always very very rude and answers questions in the worst possible unprofessional mean way ever!

Ordered the Tofu Massaman Curry and the Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were alright, nothing to write home about. The tofu massaman curry was the worst Ive ever had. Very little flavor, looked unappealing, just brown brown brown. It didnt taste bad exactly, but it didnt taste good either and the texture was unappealing. I asked for simple steamed rice but got fried. Not going here again.

I tried to make a delivery order. My office is exactly 3 miles away. I got turned down because they only had 1 delivery driver. Poor service! The guy could barely speak English , picked up his phone while taking my order. It was already frustrating because he kept asking me what i wanted. then just to say he cant come that far. Im also someone who orders out mostly everyday. They just lost a customer. I recommend if youre wanting to do delivery, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

The food was very, very good. I got so much I had enough for 2 meals. Would definitely recommend.

I live in the area nearly 15 years and this is my 1st time trying the food. I was impressed. Its a small, not very flashy, hole in the wall but arent some of the best places like this? Food was prepared quick, was hot, tasty and very affordable. Ill definitely be back to try other menu items.

I have been ordering / eating here since March of 2014, for the most part no issue. I call with my ten year old who wanted chinese and wanted to know what spicy dishes they offer. So I ask the asian man that answered the phone to tell us the names of a few spicy dishes offered. He was unhelpful and dismissive, he says come in and I will show you pictures. I say we are attempting to order for pickup. He repeats that I should come in and never names 1 spicy menu item. I did not order from this location. There was no professionalism or sense of customer service displayed. Yes the food is good but the require a little more than just the preparation and serving of food. We require hospitality, courteous and assistance when asked.

Food is great, I wish they had a buffet... but they food so good I really dont mind them not having one. Its very clean and they remember their customers.

I take out food from here every few weeks and it is consistent. My office is just up the road so I order lunch and typically get a chicken dish. For a ton of food for less than money than a drive thru it cannot be beat.
