Great family run business. Ive been ordering from them for 10 years. My son gets the egg foo young and I get the sesame chicken. The black pepper chicken is great too. The buffet during the week is a good deal. I order delivery 1-3 times a month.

Horrible food and prices. No vegetarian options-even the sauces are made with oysters. No vegetable eggrolls. The "egg rice" had about one egg bite in whole dish...also had weird taste to it. The "vegetable" low mein had a TOTAL on ONE piece of broccoli and maybe 3 carrot shreds and no other veggies-all soft gross noodles. Absolutely DO NOT recommend.Disgusting and a total waste of money!

This restaurant has raised its prices more than any other restaurant in town, and their food, its not worth the price. If you’re thinking about ordering from New China Express In Kearney. DON’T. We got Mongolian beef for $18. (W/$4 extra mushroomand this is what we got compared to my chicken lo mein. After being polite on the phone for 10 minutes all they said was is that someone would drive back here and refund us and take the entree. Instead of either brining us the proper amount what we paid for or just getting refunded and told to keep the food. I guess we’ll go hungry. $42 later. Plus they raised the prices and gave us less food. Terrible customer service. We will NEVER order from here again…

This is the best Chinese place we have tried here in Nebraska. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to our vegetarian diet. The food was amazing and plated beautifully! We will highly recommend this place to our friends and this will be our go to Chinese place from now on.

Great food, wonderful vegetarian selection. I recommend the vegtable egg Foo Yung.the friendly but quiet woman working behind the counter always makes you feel welcome and at home.

Seems pretty expensive for Chinese food. Chicken in garlic sauce with fried wontons and a drink is 22$. The wontons tasted as if they were frozen without flavor the chicken was ok and had lots and lots of onions. But the place is clean and the people are very nice

I am a frequent customer as this is the only place in town with pork fried rice. The past three times I have ate the pork fried rice I have gotten sick due to it being old. The pork tasted funny and it was also super greasy.

Decided to try this restaurant out for lunch. The place was empty except for a server folding silverware. She asked if I was there for pickup, I answered no then proceeded to order the Chicken Pad Thai to go. Not even three minutes later, the server walks out of the kitchen with my order. I was surprised by the speed and a little skeptical by how little time it took her to prepare the meal. I got home, and the food in my tray was not Pad Thai. There was no peanut sauce, bean sprouts or rice noodles. Instead, I had a huge plate full of fried rice. Either they gave me someone else’s order, or they don’t know how to make proper Chicken Pad Thai.I don’t think I’ll visit this place again.

New China’s food tastes authentic and well-made. The employees are so friendly and accommodating when it comes to special instructions or specifications. The food is always delivered hot and packaged well, which is a must for potentially messy food! Definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in town.

Absolutely terrible food,the rice was undercooked the wontons were burnt beyond recognition and the sesame chicken was soggy and tasted terrible,80 bucks worth of food in the trash.

Got a pretty bad E. Coli food poisoning from some Broccoli and Beef. I feel very bad and it’s been 3 days. I’ve eaten here many times and 7/10 times it messes up my stomach in some sort of way.

This is not a fancy place to eat but the food is excellent. I use to be a big fan of huans but when the old owner Steve sold out the quality of the food became dismal. Eat at the China express if you want great food.

Great place to get authentic Chinese food!!!! Literally the best I have ever had, they have a lunch buffet where it’s all you can eat for $6!!!! Very good price great food and awesome staff!!! They also deliver!!! Owners are nice and prepare the food great!!!! I do recommend T5 which is a Chinese menu item and is spicy popcorn chicken (that’s the best way I can put it5 stars!

We had our order delivered by a wonderful young lady. We LOVED everything we ordered. The portions are good sized so we each get 2 meals from what we order. The food tastes great and the service is wonderful!

Good American-Chinese cuisine with very generous portions, quickly prepared and served HOT HOT HOT!I suggest the Spicy Tofu-Beef dish pronounced "Mow Po New Row Tofu" if you like tofu. I didnt used to, Im a Nebraska BEEF boy but my wife got me hooked on it and I love this dish !!!

I really like the food from this restaurant. I like that its located across from the University campus because as a student, sometimes we just need a quick grab and dont have time to go out and drive.Out of all the Chinese food restaurants Ive tried in Nebraska, this one is hands down the best. I also appreciate the fact that you can order your food ahead of time and have it ready for pickup or delivered.Only downside, sometimes, is the parking lot which is hard to find a spot at times.

This restaurant has great food and delivers for $10 min order. They gladly make any changes to your order that you request. Their Golden Balls are a must have!

Service was a bit slow but the food was really good, not amazing but good. I ordered out. I got the sweet and sour chicken. And it had a good flavor and was well cooked.

Had what could be described as the worst Sesame Chicken Ive ever had. No one in the family would eat it. The rest of the food was just decent. But the sesame chicken was so laughably bad that we wont be eating here again. Not even if theres a fire.

Ordered from home, the lady was very sweet on the phone with me and I ordered the Broccili Chicken for my kiddo and I got the sweet and sour for myself. It came in about 50 minutes, I do live in an odd part of town to get too, and the food was wonderful. Not the best but totally not the worst. And for being the only Chinese delivery place in Kearney it totally earns the 5 star. Will order here again.

Trust me, Im a Chinese, not a college student, I do lots of cooking at home, and I know when its good Chinese food. Lo mein is delicious! I have to admit, the generic fried rice that served with dishes is very generic. Next time I might order shrimp fried rice to see if it will taste better.I cant remember which prawn dish we ordered, the prawns are juicy and fresh, very good job!For those who do not read Chinese but love spicy dishes, wear your big boy pants and order T2 SiChuan style boiled spicy beef, its spicy and saucy, very authentic. Eat at your own risk -- it will make your forehead sweat and your nose run!For those who like a little bit of spice, order T5 spicy chicken. Chicken is well seasoned,lightly breaded and deep fat fried. Then stir fry with dried red chili, SiChuan peppercorn and other spices. It is SUPER DELICIOUS!!!! My husband said he wants to order 20 pounds of T5 to enjoy with beer on Saturday college football games (hes a Caucasian who loves spicy food, by the way).

We got delivery from New China Express after a long drive. We were glad there was one Chinese Delivery place in Kearney and they got us our food in 30-45 min.The General Tsos Chicken was amazing! We also ordered the Kung Pao Chicken which was fried and very bland, get General Tsos instead. Finally, we ordered the Chicken Lo-mein, this was pretty bland, got better after a few drinks, will do as a side dish if you put the Tsos sauce on top, but would not order as a whole meal.Overall happy with the experience and food, but wished the Lo-mein and Kung Pao had more flavor.

To the negative comments. Its not the best in town but Hyvee is the worst Chinese in town, and the fact that it is the only delivery chinese in town is a tribute to them not a down fall on them. As for it being 70% Chicken Fat...no way. Is their General chicken a tad oily yes, but again over all pretty good and deserves an extra star for being the only Delivery Chinese in town.

Good food for a good price. I get either the beef/chicken lo mein or General chicken with either egg rolls or crab ragoon. Havent had a problem yet!!!

if I could give no stars I would, let me tell you why.First of all, my boyfriend and I had read a review that said "dont eat this unless you are a starving college student", well we are starving and in college and we cant even handle the taste. The chicken we ordered tasted terrible! it was 70% chicken fat and the sauce had absolutely no flavor. The rice had no flavor whatsoever! The crab ragoon is pre made, so you would assume they cant screw that up... wrong! it was flavorless and terrible as well! Although I did like the sweet and sour sauce, too bad I cant fill up on sweet and sour sauce. Nothing tasted good, this was terrible do not let any other reviews tell you otherwise! save your money and go elsewhere! Screw this, Im going to McDonalds.
