Lovely food and fantastic service. Great parking, bit pricey but worth it, very quick.

Usually love going here. But this time service quality was down. The waitress had to go several times to ask what a dish was, including the fish of the day, and the drinks that were specifically asked for with no ice, came with ice. Food was great though.

Awesome place for a function, we had our wedding celebrations here and the staff were so amazing! Never let us wait to be served even though they had a packed bar inside. Food was amazing! Everyone commented on how yummy it was, Highly recommend!

Great service and delicious food! Had the jalapeño cheesy bites, garden salad, plain wedges and Cajun prawns. Best to book a table because it gets busy. Was told there’s a wait time on food but it came out pretty quick. New favourite spot. Highly recommended!

Really nice staff. They were pretty busy, but we were notified early that thered be a wait. They served us drinks until food was available to order. This was definitely appreciated.We ordered 3 different pizzas to share, with fries n garlic bread. Id put the food at the higher end of the "Pub Grub" scale, really nice.Overall excellent experience.

Wasnt expecting too much to be honest but was super hungry and needed to kill an hr. Popped in here and honestly the service was awesome, the food (wings especially and I am super fussy!was awesome!!!! Time to get out there and support our hospo friends people!

We have been sevwral times to the New Brew. We have always found Julian the owner to be friendly efficient and on the ball. He even remembered the beer my husband drinks. He’s a great host and we highly recommend the place. Food is also fabulous. Thanks Julian and keep up the great work!

Guy Asked what I wanted to start with, I said could I please grab a coke and curly fries, but before I could finish he rudely took my menu and walked away, when I said Im not finished he came back all impatient, I asked for sweet Chilli sauce instead of BBQ he left...I got my Coke, but my chips came out, NOT CURLY FRIES and my sweet Chilli but no aioli. He was in a bad mood so I didnt even bother to mention it.If youre too understaffed to the point you cant even respect a paying customer, maybe dont open.Next night I ordered uber eats pizza to my home, chicken and cranberry, oh boy! Dont even bother ordering anything takeaway, tasteless bland inedible! Waste of money.Since I cannot reply to your reply, No they did not like your service, which is why they asked if you were having a bad dayYou arent being truthful, I did not say no for now, I was mid way through my order when you walked away.Yes covid hit everyone, I also own a business, but every single customer who walks through that door i treat with the upmost respect, you never smiled you never said hello, you werent nice. You came running over with your Pass scanner though.Implying that I didnt pay my own bill is totally unacceptable.Implying they are my friends is also unacceptable.You should find a different career path, or attend a stress management course.

After more than two years of going to quiz every Tuesday night at New Brew, Ive finally managed to find time to write a review. My husband and I have dinner before quiz each week. The service is always friendly, the food delicious and staff are just lovely. Julian is a fantastic host who is so welcoming. He has high standards of himself and his staff with the expectation to provide the best service, even through the challenges of COVID. On the odd occasion, something has not been 100%, we have let him know and its instantly fixed! Heres to the next two years (at leastof quizzing and dining at the New Brew.

The staff there is very rude to Uber deliver driversTo reply to your comment below, just so you clear again as I’ve made clear to you when I collected the order, I was the second driver to pick up the order. The first driver who accepted the order took too long and eventually canceled it. There’s one of your cooks helping me explain the situation to you but you wouldn’t listen as you are doing now. I will keep my right to leave this review here. You also left a thumbs down to my Uber ear profile which is not true and harmed my Uber delivery status. Feel free to raise any concern to Uber Eat as I will do the same since your attitude and behavior is very unacceptable. I have never met any restaurant owner or staff treat me like this.

Every year I go to the New Brew for my birthday and have never been disappointed. This year was my 70th and I couldnt fault them at all.The service and management were fantastic and catered to my every need.Friendly and very professional at all times. Food was excellent and the band on a Friday night was just fabulous, not many bars/restaurants have live music. They cater for all sizes of groups. BEST place on the North Shore.Many thanks to Julian for making my night a huge success.I would 100% recommend NEW BREW..

First time I have been here (not in my neighbourhoodas was for a birthday gathering of around 30 people. Drink prices were about average for wine we tried. Didnt get to order a meal as there were platters served up for guests.Good sized venue and appeared well laid out and staff were friendly.

This place is amazing - the service exceptional and the food really really good. I have never experienced anywhere that is so accomodating for a large group of people to gather for a celebration and not paying for a private area or set menu. Many of my friends and family commented on the service, locality and the space this bar and restaurant offered. We will definitely be back.

Our family of 13 came here to celebrate my sisters graduation from Massey University. Our host Julian was friendly, helpful and very accommodating to our needs, Thank you!Food was delicious with big servings. Ambience was very nice here.

We haven’t been for a couple of years, but it is still as good as it always has been. We booked last minute and they were busier than they expected, but that didn’t impact the quality of service, food or timing. Really nice food, good value and such great service with a smile and a laugh. Made us wonder why we’d left it so long to come back!

The New Brew Cafe and Restaurant in Rosedale is a great place have a drink or a bite to eat. Whether is over a work lunch or you meeting your friends Its close to everything. The house staff are really friendly and the service is exceptional. The menu is reasonably priced and will definitely be going back.

Have been to this place off & own over the years. The meals here are lovely & good value for the money. I like how they have different bands here to play, always have had great nights, lots of fun dancing with friends. Parking here can be limited when its a full on night with heaps of people. In due respect off that, is a very well presented place & lovely atmosphere.

A great place for a drink, bar snacks and food...the mix grill was regular but the rest of the food was lovely..the jalapeño balls with cheese is a must try...

Good food although portions not huge ( not necessarily a bad thing 😉Good selection on menu although perhaps a bit more expensive than other similar venues.? Special deal of $20 steak on Weds is good value. Fab sticky date pudding. Very friendly staff and great service. Atmosphere nice. Fire was really warm tonight.

Quite a nice venue, although I was primarily there for the Poker night on Monday. The staff are friendly and helpful and the premises look clean and well-kept. The bar food was good, although very pricey considering the portion sizes. There is limited parking available and although we found a park on Monday night, it wouldnt be hard to imagine that parking spaces would be at a premium during busy times, like Friday/Saturday nights. If youre an avid cash poker player, this is a great spot to check out, $20 buy in with a decent number of players

The food is actually quite tasty... Chicken burger and a perfect glass of Pinot Gris. NZ$34 and it’s reasonable. Will come back again the next time at night to see how the live music goes

The North Shore is sadly lacking of decent bars but New Brew fills this void. A great menu and friendly staff, and it’s always warm in here. Would definitely recommend, and is also child friendly.

Loved the food here it was beautifulla presented and tasted great. There are some great evening specials on.Plus the bands playing are oten just what you needed to unwind for the weekend. Great place to dance too.

We’re only people there when visited but still found service attentive and friendly. Food was your typical bar type but tasted ok and presented well. Good parking out front 👍

Went for lunch on Saturday and it was empty. Plenty of space to either watch a game or sit and talk. Outside seating available with heaters. Steak has plenty of fat and the lamb rack was a bit small. No water offered or drinks asked to be topped up
