Great view and delicious food.

Worst food. Ordered chilly chicken and dal tadka. All was full of ketchup and tasted hell. If you are Indian never try this restaurant

I had an aloo gobi and a naan. The aloo gobi was a very small helping and the naan was dry and very small. No ghee on it at all. Taste is objective so I will say that I did not like the taste of the aloo gobi. Too spicy for my palate.The server was friendly, service was fairly fast and the restaurant gave us a free bowl of dal.

Good value lunch menu. Both the chicken and lamb were tasty but the taste was dominated by cloves. The portion size was a bit small.

Great curry and nice chicken

One of my favorite restaurants in Basel and my go to Indian restaurant. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is good and authentic. I particularly like their ’thali’ options. Moreover the location and the views of the Rhine makes this place even more special and perfect for any occasion!!

Great food and if you get a window seat a great view too. (Of the river not the street). Try it out I dont think you will be disappointed.

Reserved a table for a birthday dinner. They somehow lost the reservation. Wrong table without decoration. Is a pity.

Great Tandoori chicken. The rice comes with little spices which makes the all around taste even more holesome. The prices are very fair, especially during Lunch. about 21 CHF for such an awesome Meal! Great view when sittin in the back of the restaurant: View to the Kaserne over the Rhein.

They don‘t know how to make Murgh Makhni (Butter Chicken). Maybe they should watch the video from Get Curried on youtube to see how it‘s properly done. Authentic is different. Disappointed

what a wonderful surprise by the river! great setting - very friendly crew! ..and then the indian delicacies - one of the most authentic and tasty indian food we have eaten in the last few years! you can tell it is cooked with much love! they also have a good vinecard, which is really missing in other indian restaurants.we enjoyed it very much and we will keep coming back, when in switzerland!

Its expensive and quality of food not at all at per mark. We ordered chicken biriyani - it was merely rice with chicken curry .taste was far away from Biriyani. Also, it had very less Chicken pieces .

We went after seeing the reviews.Service was good.Food is far from being Indian.I understand that Swiss culture has a very simple palate and they modify the food to become acceptable. However, we found it less than standard.The pakora was the worst ive ever had.Samosa was just ok.The main were just ok.Chapati was more like nan but not chapati.The view was nice.

Great food, great service. The prices are rather high, but I guess it comes with the nice location, just above the Rhein river.

Cannot recommend enough! Properly cooked food and all ingredients fresh. The cost of the meal was significantly less than expected, my sis And I were really happy. Met my sister here for dinner, energetic atmosphere but no waiting. Fantastic ambiance at night, adored the meals here for dinner. The waiters here were genuinely professional and obviously take pleasure in their work.

Visit this place for authentic home like Punjabi taste. It was worth the search and walk. Loved the food

Good indian food in Basel with affordable price. Nice ambience with river side.

The food was ok but the manager didn‘t offer us a choice for the soup he just served us one. Also after some time orher guests came in and were offered a menu which for us wasn’t there he just simply said „there is the buffet“

Food was pretty basic, service was mixed (server was too slow and unattentive, but the owner made a good wine recommendation). Will probably not go again.

Authentic Indian Food.. its located by the side of river Rhine.. can watch river while sitting inside restaurant. Thats good.Good Indian instrumental in background.

I went here with three Indians because according to them, this is the best Indian Restaurant in town.I liked the food a lot and it reminded me of my own travels in India.I recommend it

Tasty food, we had chana masala and mix vegetables.We wanted food without onion and garlic and they made it that way.We requested for tawa roti and they provided us with that too.Service and staff are also nice.They have sitting arrangement inside and outside, both.Close to the train station and pretty accessible for wheel chairs as well.Totally recommended.

The food is OK but overpriced. Frankly not exceptional. We ordered Butter Chicken and Chickpea Curry plus drinks and Nan bread.The service was quite mediocre. We arrived around 6pm without a reservation and asked to be seated on the side facing the Rhine,.The host said everything was reserved and taken. We left about 75 minutes later and about 90% of the seats in that area were empty while we were there. In addition to this, service was very slow and we had to remind the waiter to bring different components of our order a few times. Overall, not memorable, probably not coming back.

Nice atmosphere inside. Let down by the service which took 1.5 hours to be put on the the table, for only 3 dishes.We were told incorrectly on a previous day that one of the dishes was vegan, and then told by another member of staff that actually it isnt vegan. Would be nice to have some details on the vegetarian menu if it contains dairy and egg.We had 3 re-fills of rice, each time becoming less and less full when it got back to us after a lengthy wait.The vegetarian dishes were okay, far too oily for my liking and gave one of us stomach problems the night/day after. Wouldnt recommend this place in all honesty.
