New Baileys Beach Bar in Banjul

Nice and clean place. Free wifi and beds on the beach. To me the music was a little to loud, making it attractive to younger people.

Great place to chill out on the beach, the staff are excellent, and look after your every needs, the sun loungers and Wi-Fi are free, great place to people watch.

Chicken & chips is the only food option..That was dry & bland..To many rasters have taken up residence here & all they do is play pool & shout all day..Been twice now great location but not for me..Gambia just lacks a few good beach bars & I don’t know why …

Einfache Beachbar, aber in der Saison von Touristen gern besucht, da in einer Top Lage.Leider kann man am Strand keine 50 Meter weit laufen ohne von einem der sogenannten "Beachboys" angesprochen zu werden. Egal ob sie versuchen einem Alles mögliche zu deutlich überhöhten Preisen zu verkaufen oder Dienste jeder erdenklichen Art anbieten, es läuft immer darauf hinaus, dem Touristen möglichst viel Geld aus der Tasche zu ziehen. Das kennt man ja von vielen Touristenzielen auf der Welt, aber hier sind sie doch schon ziemlich aufdringlich und schwer los zu werden, wenn man nicht unhöflich werden will.

Bailey Beach barDe avond voor de onafhankelijksdag bij de plek terechtgekomen. Iets meer lokale plek met een gezellige sfeer, in ons geval een DJ, dansende mensen, vlotte bediening. Een leuke plek om gezellig te zitten waar veel lokale mensen de dag komen afsluiten (zondagavond)

This used to be our "go to " beach bar most days during our holiday over the past few years.However on our first visit this year I overheard someone associated with the new owner speaking to one of the waitresses in an appalling abusive way. Swearing into her face.Disgraceful.Apart from this disgusting behaviour, the new owners have tried to improve the place by installing new sunbeds and putting up fancy new signage, but the toilets are still appalling and the beer is more expensive than other bars.Its such a shame as this place has so much potential and with the right attitude and management could rival Kunte Kinteh or Cabanas.Give it a miss as there are better places with people who treat their staff in a more professional and friendly way, and have clean, unbroken toilets!!!Shame for the long standing staff who really do try their best.

I wanted Wi-Fi password for 5 minutes when I was waiting on my juice from juice man and they didnt give me ... impolite .

Go there on Sunday evening around 5pm when the locals descend on the beach. Fabulous atmosphere with reggae music playing from the bar.
