Set in a federal-style house built in 1854, this bed-and-breakfast is 3.9 miles from Connecticut Valley Railroad State Park and 6 miles from the Goodspeed Opera House.Traditional rooms and suites feature antique-style furnishings, free WiFi and private bathrooms (some en suite). Some have separate sitting areas, hand-stenciled walls, stained-glass windows, private porches, brick fireplaces and/or 2-person whirlpool tubs.Amenities include a wraparound porch and a lawn with seating areas, plus a rustic common room with exposed beams and a 12-ft-wide stone fireplace. A lovely quest house in Buxton in a good location about ten minutes from the high street it was very comfortable we had a lovely room the breakfast was great the owner was very friendly and helpful would certainly stay there again and would strongly recommend.

Lovely cosy guest house, well run and friendly, you even have fresh milk for your use in your room. Lots of local information given which was both helpful and accurate and just a short walk from the town.

A real experience, great host the best breakfast, and Buxton with all it offers on your door step ,walking parks restaurant pubs theatre market all on your doorstep, and your host has fabulous insight into the area.top stay .

This guesthouse is beautiful and the prices are good. The only problem is they are not happy to help you leave your luggage with the reception (even for few hoursafter checking out.

Really good hotel close to centre of Buxton in a very nice part of the town. Large comfortable room with excellent bed. Superb breakfast - choice included avocado with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Run by an extremely pleasant young Australian. Highly recommended!
