Nesmon Cafe and Boutique in Sherman Oaks

Got a couple of crepes here for a late breakfast-- delicious, very fresh ingredients, and the cafe was cute.

Got the lemon 🍋 crepes and they were delicious!

Not my favorite. Croissants are good thats all

This place is one of our favorites! Great small business to support in the local area. Coffee and food is delicious. I highly recommend the egg sandwich or any crepes.

Worse Crepe and veggie omelette I’ve ever tried. They are probably not used to people with exotic look or accent, maybe good for locals.

Love this place.. quaint cafe with some great food and ambience. One of the little treasures in the valley..great for peaceful breakfast or lunch.

Food is average, they are very unorganized to bring orders, they ask for a tip when you order your food they dont do much, you have to bring your utensils napkins sugar etc, we were 4 and we had crepes coffee and toast toast was brought when we finish the coffee and was not warm and not toasted, crepes were good but some of them cold

It is a such a lovely place! We had breakfast there twice. Nice atmosphere, friendly stuff, tasty food.

This place had charm and good food, but lacked so much in customer service it was laughable! Alma was the only one who was helpful and friendly, and made it worth choosing to stay.

This is a delightful neighborhood friendly French Cafe/bakery in Sherman Oaks...the delightful aroma of fresh crepe fills your nostrils as you enter the Cafe! Very friendly staff and non-pretencious customers!

Slow service and the worst crepe Ive ever had, but coffee that will make you break into song about how delicious it is.

I love everything about Nesmon cafe. The staff are super sweet and attentive to all customers and the food is AMAZING!! They literally have the best pastries and their avocado toast is sooo good. Def coming here again soon!

Went here with a friend for a New Year’s Day brunch .I paid 45.00 for 2 avocado toasts , a latte and a tea.Not only was it one of the worst meals I’ve been served but it was served with paper plates and plastic cutlery.Not what o was expecting for a 45 dollar New Years brunch. I might have been able to accept all that but the attitude from the woman that was working was beyond rude.The latte was also served in a to go paper cup and had absolutely no foam , or taste . I asked for another and you’d think I had insulted her family . She made me another and then served us a piece of tasteless bread with some cold avocado smashed on it and enough crushed pepper to light your mouth on fire . We decided to go elsewhere cause we were really wanting a descent New Years brunch . I give her back the plate and wow .. the attitude I was met with was astounding. Beyond rude . I understand they were understaffed but it was not busy and I was not rude when I gave back the order. Basically I just told her it just wasn’t what we wanted or expected for a new year brunch or for that kind of money. I was really shocked by her aggressive attitude and rudeness. She begrudgingly refunded one of the toasts but basically I paid over 30 to be talked to rudely and served subpar food on paper plates with plastic cutlery. I know it’s Covid but come on .. also what ever happened to customer service ?

Excellent food and amazing atmosphere.

Id love to give this place a good review because things started off great. We were fully aware of the closing time of 3 PM. When we asked for a box to pack things up to leave there was absolutely 0 customer service. Not a word was said to us after asking, instead we were greeted with a glare and a box slung at us. After returning outside, my sister was finishing feeding her 5 week old baby. The server proceeded to take the last bit of shade we had by taking the umbrella inside with no warning. It put the baby in the direct sunlight with absolutely no warning. I get that were still in the middle of a pandemic, and no one wants to be working. However, we were kind, tipped 20% and still got the worst attitude from the staff. It was incredibly unnecessary. We left by 3:11.

Cute place, great concept, terrible service, had to clean the table myself so did other couple, food is ok coffee refill is 3.75 again service is a foreign concept perhaps French !

This is a sweet place to eat with delicious food. They have tables at on the sidewalk on the side of Ventura Boulevard, but with the French music played overhead and the flowers all around and to the mist overhead, you dont even notice that you are on the sidewalk by a busy street. Ive never been to Paris, but I feel like I get a little taste of it at Nesmon Cafe. Did I mention that the food is delicious?

Absolutely delicious food - we got the veggie omelette, croque madam, two egg sandwiches, and the house pancakes. Service left a bit to be desired, our coffee didnt come out until our food was delivered and the pancakes came out about 10 mins after everything else but we survived! Coffee was a bit weak too, but my friend got a lemonade and it was so fresh. Probably would come back on a weekday for lunch instead of a weekend lunch!

This place is awesome. The food is fresh and incredible and everyone who works there is so nice. Great food and great vibe.

Unfortunately (!it closed. Can’t wait to go there again. Last time I was there the weather was sunny. Nice manager moved plant for me (all umbrellas were takenand I got some shade. Delicious breakfasts and lunchesYumLittle update: The cafe is open!!! Woohoo

Love this place so much! Been coming back for 4 years now and it’s always a hit with my company. Classic French boutique cafe on the lovely Ventura Blvd. Best of all - they have amazing vegan options. I’m obsessed with their salads! Must try: Beet Salad and/or the Kale & Quinoa Salad.Be patient with the ladies that run the place. They do everything from taking your order to preparation of your food! It’s delicious and absolutely worth waiting if it gets busy.

Really awesome cafe. I love that theres options for everyone whether you like smoked salmon or youre vegan(an entire vegan menu and breakfast served all day!). I got a vegan crepe with chocolate spread and bananas and strawberries to share, and the Croque Madam with smoked salmon. I also got a cafe mocha with almond milk. The crepe was so tasty, the Croque Madam was savory and delicious! The coffee was very smooth and rich. The entire experience was wonderful. The atmosphere, the music, the outdoor seating and the food were all amazing and I cant wait to bring friends here to try!

Omg love this place so much! What a delicious everything 🌸 and of course, you can’t beat the French style patio 😍Actually I’m so glad there are no more dining inside! The weather in La is so perfect now 😌

Loved this place- the outdoor patio doesnt have the best views ever but the patio seating itself is great. Its automatically COVID-19 safe since its all out door dining. I got a chocolate and banana crepe, a side of eggs and the chai- all to die for. Id go back just for the chai! But they have so many options of food and drink it was great. The place was aesthetically cute. They had a lot of candles and decor and teacups and things like that for sale inside. Service was friendly but to the point. I cant wait to go back!

I hate to give such a cute, charming place such a bad review but man, it was not great. To pay $16 for an overdressed salad that was missing ingredients listed on the description was not great. The staff was not attentive to cleaning tables as they cleared to sit new people and it was just overall disappointing.

One of our favorite spots to walk to for breakfast on the weekend. Excellent food and great service! Do yourself a favor and try the french toast.

I stay in the Sherman Oaks area every time Im in Los Angeles, but this was the 1st time my friends and I tried Nesmon. Really enjoyed the variety, and it was delicious. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

A friend and I stopped in for coffee at 4:05 pm Saturday afternoon. The lady nicely informed us that we had to order it to go. It turned out that we had come in five minutes after closing. I was just happy that she was willing to sell us coffee after closing time plus it was actually a quite good brew: thank you! :-)

My wifes and my new favorite little french place. We have been coming here on a weekly basis for breakfast for the last month and always have gotten the same thing, egg sandwiches omelette style with a chocolate croissant (or sometimes a crepe!With coffee (for me as wifey is pregnant!And I prepay for a refill as to not have more than one transaction. their Rosemary chicken sandwich is also very good, same with the rosemary chicken salad. The pastrami sandwich was also good but lacked as much meat as the rest but the taste was still top notch. Whatever they do with their Mayo I am a fan! My wife and I will be back ASAP

Nice place for breakfast. Killer crepes with fruits. Water was bad though, filtered tap water wasnt the best quality and taste. Otherwise awesome place

Such a cute, authentic hidden gem. Good breakfast, lunch, coffee and snack options. It has a very “not forced” French feel to it and I’ve been to Paris twice. The service is exceptional and personal. I’ve had a couple food options such as: Le Salmon Omelette which was yummy, the Café Caramel which was so good and Rosemary Chicken (Kosherhot sandwich with chips which was so good.Dog friendly and in a cool little area.I highly recommend this restaurant

Great little spot on Ventura that has outdoor seating to give you that extra al fresco dining in Paris experience. I had the salmon crepes and wasnt sure what to expect, but I do have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The iced coffee which has a shot of espresso in it for that added hit of caffeine was not great. I would say to stick to the cappuccinos and standard coffee fare.

Driving down Ventura Blvd and noticed this place and stopped for breakfast its a order at the counter and they bring food to your table. Food was great and went back in to order desert. Service was OK we would get our food but server would walk away past dirty tables empty handed leaving a few tables never cleaned

I just left this place in a horrible mood. I couldn’t even finish my order because the girl ringing me up just burst out laughing and wouldn’t stop. I don’t know what the reason was but it was very rude and she already seemed to have a nasty attitude as I entered. Terrible experience for a first timer in LA.

Great French Toast. Loved the bananas and caramel sauce. I asked for syrup and the waitress looked at me somewhat strangely, but a good dining experience al fresco.

The food here is amazing and there is a great ambience. Although, when I called to order the food, the service was terrible. A true pain in the butt. By the time I finally ordered, talked to numerous employees on the phone, and a very confusing conversation about a list, I was already in front of the store. I love sitting here but the service is absolute trash. I would not recommend ordering ahead. I can’t even imagine what it is like to have them cater for your event.

This location used to me my old office! Great crepes and coffee. Service could be better - like saying "Hello" when you walk up... and acknowledging that you have been there for 4 minutes already. Food takes some time to be made as well, but its a nice place for a chill Sunday start.

Simply the best! Excellent food, coffee and sweets. The crepes are dynamite. The patio is lovely. Excellent staff, great service. I highly recommended.

Food, decent. Ambiance, good. Music, great. French staff, completely unfriendly. I mean I get it [Im part French] but No. They need to take a page from their friendly America worker who smiled, made eye contact, and, called me love, as thats the kind of service that will keep the doors open.
