Modest option offering Persian fare, such as kebabs & stews made with halal meats.
The koobideh smelled and tasted rotten and bad so much that I felt sick.Sometimes the meat is also hard, maybe defrosted by microwave in short time to deliver. I never go there anymore.
Came her on a weekday with friends. Was decently busy but food came quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered lamb soup and kebabs. The meat was tender and so flavorful, the vegetables were perfectly cooked! First time trying Persian food and it was everything we wanted! We left happy and full with a decent amount of leftovers. For the price you really can’t beat it. Swing by for a meal!
Poor customer services, the city should close this place. They didn’t let our service animals in. We will report it and follow it legally. The smell of the restaurant is like a WC
decent food but horrible service. $3 for sharing a plate and $3 for bottled water are unheard of among other places in this price range.
Amazing food, great service, Carlos and staff were amazing. Can’t wait to come back. Plates come in huge portions
Excellent kabobs, ghormeh sabzi , dizi… which comes with outstanding fresh bread. I usually order to go on Saturdays and highly recommend this authentic restaurant
The best food and grate service.Loved it.
Good food and good customer service.
Cozy little restaurant. The food quality is amazing. I loved the fresh Taftoon bread and the Soltani kebob which was done perfectly. The meat is tender and juicy. The server was very nice and friendly.Id go back and try their other dishes.
Take out foods are reheated and collected form left over dishes
We know this place for very long time from Tehran use to go the next of weekends with my bro and mum and dad here they do same hm not quit as what they did there but much much better then Raffi kebab only bring name of him and nothing els but had nothing compost to here but here lack of parking and is been long time didn’t come there even years but they do much better then other places 💄🦋💎💃🏼🏠sunnier if you want tasty and good place we do our own kebabs every night haha so no neeed to go there if once a month who wants then 🤩 this for losers 🖕🏽Enjoy it some places looks want Chang my writing hahaha go ahead I say other places you I can 😏👁
Great food. Very polite & friendly staff
Once they put someone that has common sense back on the phones to take orders this place will get a good rating. Your food can be good but when your service is horrible your not going to get anywhere.
Delicious Dizi, highly recommending.
They claim to close at 6 on Sundays, but they close at 5:30😳 We drove 40 minutes to get there and they didn’t let us in, because it was 5:31😐 We tried to tell them they had to update their info on Google Maps, so people don’t get confused. But he simply ignored us. How RUDE!
Best Kabob in the area. Had the Saltani. Thats a combination of Barg and Koobedeh. It was so good. The hot bread was good, especially with the cucumber and yogurt dip. The staff was helpful and friendly. Well be back.
Ordered takeout. It took 10-15 mins. I had the beef koobideh and it was good. The portion was large with rice, tomato, green pepper and one piece of fresh bread. I will probably start going here instead of Raffis.
Nerses is legendary, you cant go wrong with the quality and taste of the food. Over of them best Persian food restaurants
I was told to go to Vanak and try their Dizi (Abgoosht and their Koobideh kabab. To my surprise I wasnt impressed at all. The koubideh was too salty and nothing special. The dizi was ok but for those who have never tried it might be delicious. It wasnt the case for me at all.But the home made bread (Nanwas very good.We were served by an elderly man who was pretty cold and not welcoming. If you want eat a good Koobideh just go to Panini kabab and for the best fillet (Bargkabab go to Rafi in Glendale.
I had the lule kabob and it was good, not mind blowing, just good. The kabob tastes just like the ones at other Persian restaurant, so if you want consistency, you got it!
Good food and resanable price. I like a fresh bread and sabzi. It is not family atmosphere.
Orderd to Pickup, I was standing arround 5min. there and no one to came ask what I am waiting for! Then took the food home and after having chicken kabob had food poisoning. Stay away from this place!
I had dizi and the food was delicious. However, I wont be coming back any time soon during the pandemic. Unfortunately the staff weren’t wearing masks most of the time even when interacting with customers. Neither were most of the other customers when not sitting at their tables.
A very casual place with great Dizi and kobideh. The best part is the fresh bread that makes it all good. Very hard to find parking.
5 stars for the food! You want authentic Persian-Armenian cuisine then this is the place.
Vibes at this restaurants are like eating in a restaurant in Tehrans Grand Bazaar. Food quality is exceptional at very reasonable prices too. Would love to go back again. Their Dizi is a must try.
Food is delicious. Luleh and Soltani Kebabs are flavorful and juicy with a slight perfect char. Also suggest the Ghormeh Sabzi. And the bread is addictive, I order extra and eat the next day with other food.
I had their Luleh Kabob and I was very impressed! Their rice was amazing and very moist! The kebab was super flavorful and enjoyable. They also have a naan type bread which I don’t usually see at Persian restaurants that I though was great. The basil they used was perfect with the rice too. I would highly recommend and you know this is a Glendale locals spot.
A small, popular restaurant in a strip mall on San Fernando road. The menu is simple and the food is really good. Nersses serves Persian stews and other dishes but the real prize here is the kabob. The soltani, filet, chicken and lamb are all excellent, served with massive plates of rice and warm bread that is baked fresh all day. Really great!
Great food, their bread is a must have.
I tried dizzi, the food was amazingly good and delicious. But, the service wasnt satisfying.
OMG!!!!!, It’s great, the best ABGOSHT in the town. Thank you
This is probably the worst restaurant in all of Glendale in regards to customer service. My husband and I had 2 plates of chicken kabob with soft drinks and a plate of appetizers that should be around $40 we have been visiting this place for a while because their Grill Chicken is really good. And we Ususally tip the only server in the place, a very nice guy cash because we were told that the owner pocket the tip.The owner is probably the rudest guy in all of Glendale. Today when I ask to inquire why we were unreasonably overcharged, he yelled at me in front of all his customers. He said loudly that we have been coming to his place and not leaving tip. First off, even if I didnt tip, that would be none of his darn business. I know why he was upset because he wasnt pocketing the tip himself. This was the worst experience of my life at a restaurant and I will never again go back to this place.
Excellent taste, they make their own bread and its amazing, officially one of my favorites..The place is very small for dine in but nice
Best kabab ever! I do order twice a week, and every time I receive high quality and delicious food. Highly recommended! Yumm!
If you hate the long wait at raffis come here ! The kabob is AMAZING! get the luleh (kobideh and some chicken kabob (always with bones! And start with a kashkeh bademjan and youre in for a tasty adventure. Ive had their dizi and it was ok Ive had better. But their kabob is some of the best you can get in L.A. Oh and the bread they give you when you sit down (with the traditional onions basil and radishesis worthy of a Michelin star on its own! This place should be on your regular restaurant rotation. Trust me
Hands down the best Persian food we’ve ever had, little hidden treasure in Glendale! The staff was supper friendly, the food was amazing, there portions are pretty big for lunch. Every bite had a lot of flavor and the meats were cooked perfectly, they have Best Dizi/Abgoost in the world. I just love that they always serve you the plate with basil, onion and fresh hot flat bread. The owner is always at the restaurant making sure the food remains the best quality. Make sure to add this to your list of “go to” places. There might be a wait on weekends, but totally worth it! I would give it 10 stars if I could!
Nice place, the Luleh Kabob was one of the best i ever had. Parking was not used though.
Nothing compares to their food! They are always busy but its worth the wait And its not even that long! Ive tried many Persian Armenian restaurants in Glendale but nothing competes with the taste and quality of the barbecues and food this restaurant offers. Everything they make is Delicious and tastes like homemade!! They even bake fresh bread here that they serve with your food, its so addicting!! I have also ordered home catering from them for many family gatherings, events and holidays, They always come through with their professional, Best and Most fresh catering!! Must try, I promise you wont regret!
The best Persian and Armenian restaurant that I have been to in California. They use fresh meat all the time. The kabob in this place tastes real. Its the real deal. They bake traditional bread. It is so good. I definitely recommend this to everyone who likes Persian food.
Great service, great food. Their hot fresh bread is the best. Their dizi ( abgooshtis second to none.
Very good quality If you would like to eat Persian foods specially Dizi and kebob_after one year again tried the Dizi and chicken boneless kebob so quality and taste was the Sam as that we had last year. April 2019
Great new place, great food and service. Will go back to try other menu items.
Good tasting food and good service. Persian abgoosht dizi style.
My second time in LA and had to check this place out again, since last time they have renovated the place, food still tastes absolutely delicious. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I will visit again next time in LA
Ive been here only once and I really liked the food and the service. I had the chicken kabob which was delicious and very moist but what I liked the most was the fresh bread that they bake at the restaurant.
This was a wonderful dining experience. I had the beef kabob at lunch time. Very tasty and delicious. This is a very unassuming resteraunt but the food was high quality and at a good price. My only complaint is very minor, they serve soda in a can and I would have preferred a fountain drink but that is very minor. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food. We got the "pickles", pickled black garlic, and each got a dizi stew and broth special. Wow!
As an American who loves Persian / Armenian food, this place has delicious food. The chicken was moist and juicy, the barg was soft, and the koobideh was very tasty. The Ikra is one of the best I have ever tasted. Quality of ingredients is great.....very fresh!
We found this place when we lost and it has been the best persian food we have ever eaten. The chicken kabob with bone was moist and full of flavor! The bread was an exquisite delicacy that you cant have just one. The service was amazing and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be coming back! 👌
