Nero's Italian Steakhouse in Atlantic City

This was my favorite restaurant but sadly closed last weekend. Highly disappointed, loved their dry aged bone in ribeye. Drove 5 hours just for neros.

Yes I totally agree that Nero’s had the best brunch EVER. FORGET IT. After the pandemic there is no longer a Sunday brunch. There never (never say neverwill be. The new owners of Caesars (Eldoradodo not believe in brunch. After September 2022 there will no longer be a Nero’s Restaurant. The space was sold to Gordon Ramsey (yes the guy who said he would never open a restaurant in Atlantic City). Hells Kitchen. The Caesar’s properties are changing and IMHO not for the better (bettor).Edit 8/29/2022: The space for Ramsey’s Hells Kitchen is actually the Dusk Nightclub on the 2nd floor of the casino. Nero’s is closing 9/7/2022 because Ramsey did not want the competition. The space that was Nero’s will be vacant until they decide what to do with it.

Nero Italian steak house was our favorite restaurant. My husband and I went to celebrate my husband birthday to find out that they are closing next week after 25 years. Very disappointed. Great food, nice ambiance and beautiful view overlooking the Atlantic city boardwalk and ocean.

Best meal I have ever eaten in Atlantic City!!

I went to Neros for the first time this past weekend with a friend. I didnt know what to expect. The food spoke for itself. However I was highly impressed with our waiter, Joe. He was so kind and sweet. He was very knowledgeable of the menu.He gave my friend and I his honest opinion on the menu items. Joe, was a delight. In addition he provided exceptional service. I wish him all the best life has to offer.

The view and ambience nice. The seafood was fresh and well prepared. The prime ribs was not the best Ive had, the meat is a bit lean. For the price, they should gotten better meat.

Beautiful view, ambiance, and lovely piano player. Our waiter Blaze, was amazing, inviting, and funny. Food was great, drinks were great. Absolutely recommend to anyone.

It was a great experience, We will definitely be returning. Enjoyed the food ,the view.And everyone was very pleasant.

It was a great dining experience. Id highly recommend the burrata cheese salad. It was creamy, topped with balsamic reduction, and served with cherry tomatoes. I ordered the Chilean sea bass for my meal. It was the best sea bass Ive had in a very long time. It came with fava beans, artichokes, and peas in a saffron lemon sauce. There was great flavor and freshness to the dish.The only underwhelming aspect of Neros was the decor. It was outdated with mirrors throughout the restaurant. The colors were also dark. The views of the beach and ocean were spectacular though.They were very accommodating as well. My son wanted a meatball over linguini in a marinara sauce. Kudos to the staff for providing us with a memorable experience.

Went to Neros for my birthday🎈🎊🎉💃💃 Everyone was very nice☺ But when I went to sit down😔 I stepped on the legs of the table.😳 it was angled in front of my seat😩 twisted my ankle & popped my sandals😔😭😭😭. 🤔 I shouldnt have to be stepping on anything or over anything to sit down at a table to eat dinner at $450. One of the waiters told me that I can glue my sandal back together😒😠😠 I thought I could cut the straps off but found that there would be no support for me to walk.😩 One male waiter was assisting me with thisBut we did not do it. I was not satisfied with the concerns of this Situation😠😠😠😠😠No Accommodations whatsoever. Yes A Manager was there...! I Will Not Return Here Never Again❗❗❗The food was just ok👍 the spinach tasted like nutmeg 🤦 I dont know what that was about🤷 The Date that I was there was 6/3/22 9:30 reservation & yes I stayed at Caesars Casino. My Sandals are DESTROYED❗❗❗

Went here with my wife for our anniversary- I’m generally not one to complain as I have worked in the restaurant industry for many years and understand things are not always perfect. With that said the food at Nero’s was a bitter disappointment - especially so at the price charged. The bread was mediocre at best but the thin garlic flatbread was good. We started with the Meatball - sauce good but the meatball was pretty flavorless with too much bread crumb.I had the 14oz NY Strip and ordered it medium - steak arrived rare, nearly “black and blue” and was tough.My wife had “the best item on the menu” (as stated by our waiter- The Lobster Francaise. For nearly $80 the dish was an egg battered lobster tail topped with about an ounce of crab - again with a sauce greatly lacking in flavor. The “Truffle” roasted mushrooms had zero truffle added to enhance the flavor.With one glass of wine the check was just over $200 with the meal not worth half that.Service was fine (the only reason I rated two starsbut couldn’t make up for the miserable food and a spoiled anniversary- cannot recommend!

The best steak in New Jersey? I think not! You would think a steakhouse would cook a steak properly and when you ask for medium you would get it. Steak was raw and the lobster was tasteless. Way overpriced as well. I should have known from the moment I saw the stale breadbasket. Not impressed at all and I will never go back. It’s a shame because Caesar’s is my favorite casino but Nero’s is sheer disappointment. Go to Ramsay’s. It’s way better! The food there is delicious.

2022 Memorrial weekend. Had reservations at Neros AC for Saturday at 8pm. Got to the table at 9pm. Took for ever to get appetizers. $80 steak came way over done and ravioli under cooked..it was by far the worst experience at $300 price..

Porter house was delicious service was better. Wish I remembered my servers name

As a tourist I got tourist quality. Shame on them for even calling themselves a steakhouse. My friend and I both ordered the chicken parm. It was like cutting through rubber. Just ripped apart. Cheese was a disaster. Shrimp very low on flavor. I should have returned them. Lava cake was barely moist inside. Why call it lava cake if when you cut it open nothing comes out. Very very very over priced. Again if we werent so hungry we should have walked out and found a value meal at a drive through. Very disappointing.

The food was incredible! One of best steaks Ive had in a very long time. And the atmosphere was amazing. Great view of the ocean and a live piano player. Will definitely be going back soon.

Me and my family members were racially profiled and was not let in the restaurant We felt so attacked,and the hostess was rude,I dont recommend anyone of color to eat here at all I felt as though they should have put up a sign basically saying no blacks allowed

The porterhouse was not as good as advertised. Overcooked and should have sent back. My wife sent back her overcooked Strip then it came back rare. Will probably seek out other options.

Disappointing experience this past Saturday evening. Waiter not helpful, chef refused to customize how I wanted my veal chop. Second choice of Salmon turned out to be horrible. Asked for sparkling water and was brought a warm bottle. Not the service I have grown accustomed to at Nero’s. They need to reevaluate how they are treating their customers.

I went to Nero’s on March 18, 2022.I was impressed with the service but the food was not worth the money .We ordered two steaks . One steak we ordered was well done . And one medium . My wife’s steak had to go back to the kitchen and had to be recooked due to it came out rare By the time the steak came out I was completed and my wife’s steak came out when dessert was being served with coffee .Also the mashed potatoes were ice cold as well and had to be sent back.This is the first time here but the couple besides our table said this was the norm for this restaurant.As food always come out cold or the orders are never correct, she said they can deal with this because the food is so good .But in my eyes if I’m going to spend $300 on a meal it should be correct and perfect .

Great restaurant n service. Santos at the bar is outstanding. Anytime I get in town I always stop here for q great dinner from steak to Seaford. Excellent service n food. Worth the trip. Say hello to Santos.

We had a fantastic meal. Everything was prepared to perfection. Our server was friendly, attentive and fun. We had a beautiful window view.

The hostess Bettie Mc Hugh was fabulous we booked at extended restaurant which was cancelled after we booked and she honored it Im a Er nurses who worked through covid and their prices are above my husband and I and it was so generous of her she is a gem for your restaurant .

We had a great meal. Our waitress was delightful, the food was delicious and I had a white chocolate souffle that was amazing!

Great dinner and always great service. I highly recommend making a reservation, its a must. A variety of options on the menu. There is an elevator, if you are disabled and it lets you off right in front of the restaurant. Also, the bathrooms are located just outside of the restaurant.

Great food and service. Tony is our favorite server. Betty and Kathleen are friendly and will get you to your table.Try the raw bar...excellent. Order the chocolate souffle as soon as you order for dessert as it takes time to make and is worth it.

The meal “tasted” good. I had diarrhea within the hour. Management wanted me to fill out a security report with risk management and never inquired what I ate. $225 to get sick. Don’t risk it.

A classic Atlantic City restaurant. The view to the boardwalk is incredible. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Our server was beyond excellent. She shared she has been working at the restaurant over two decades (you couldnt tell!). Food was excellent! Drinks are yummy! One of my drinks was a dirty Martini, and while there isnt anything unique about a vodka martini, theirs was beyond perfection. Nicely bruised, perfect ratio of olive juice and the blue cheese stuffed olives just brought it home!Cant wait to go back.

It was amazing! The food and the service. And Blueberry Mimosa was outstanding!

Took my husband there for his birthday and we had the most wonderful time and the food was exquisite .Everything was prepared to perfection. The hospitality was top notch. Ill return time and time again. Thank you Betty McHugh for a wonderful night.

Excellent restaurant! The food was superb! Tony, our waiter is the best in the business. He was so kind, patient, and so welcoming. We felt as if we knew him for years. We will go to Neros monthly.

Service was ok. Huge Baked potato was dry with little butter on side. Sour cream came after we were half way finished with our meal. Ordered steak medium rare. Steak came medium well. We waited for server who never came back. So we ate the over cooked steak. Second time we’ve eaten here and both experiences were not great.

The food was really good however there was a bone in my chicken parm. I asked the waiter about it who conferred with the manager and said that is how they prepare it. Naturally they were lying and the manager didnt even have the courtesy to come over to my table. The service was terrible. Our waiter walked by at least 10x without stopping to check in on us.

Horrible place! guys please dont come here! i ordered the sea bass,$50 for a cheaply cooked piece of fish no flavor. not worth it! my best friends had lamb chopps that had no flavor. we have been to gordon Ramsey stake house so we know whats good supposed to taste like. please save your money and find another place to eat.

We went for a Sunday brunch and were not disappointed. Absolutely too much food offerings available. Crepe & Waffle station, carving station, omlette station, seafood sushi raw bar, dessert area, I mean pretty much anything you can look for at a buffet they offer. I would highly recommend the experience but be sure you make reservations and understand the buffet is $65 per person.

The Prix fixe prime rib dinner for $39 may be the best gourmet restaurant deal in AC. Very romantic ocean front room, delicious food, experienced yet unrushed service.

Awesome ocean views, and although its a steakhouse, we all had seafood, and it was absolutely delicious!!!

Great service, good food, quite noisy. Very pricey. The quality and flavor of the food is very good. The menu has a wide selection for an upscale steakhouse. The dessert menu is also impressive and very tasty. Many different flavors of souffles to choose from. Service was excellent with nothing to complain about there. Its worth going for a nice steak or lobster meal but be prepared not to be able to have a conversation during your meal. The tables are relatively closer together and the sound carries. The bar is also in the same room with several tvs for sports. There is a very nice view of the beach and ocean from many of the tables. Overall, a nice place for an evening out.

Best. Bruch. Ever. We went for Sunday brunch. It was awesome. Not having our picky children that dont eat anything with us gave us the opportunity to go there. The spread was great. Sushi, caviar, crab legs, oysters, carving station, omelette station, waffle/crepe station, build your own bloody Mary bar and so many other great food selections with a dessert bar that was also mind blowing. Every single thing I tried was good, and I made it my mission to try EVERYTHING. Great views of the beach too. Train, workout or whatever you need to do to work up a serious appetite before you go there.

Very nice atmosphere with a gorgeous oceanfront view. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service and food. I loved the Angus burger I had, this was a perfect burger and it came with a side of fries. I wish it came with another side but it was all very good. The bread that came with the food was great. I loved the pretzels the best. The view from the restaurant is very nice, I would recommend calling in advance for a window seat, they normally run out of those the fastest. They sat my table in the dining room which is nice, but not the same experience as the window seating of the boardwalk and beach.
