Nerei - Beușnița Ravine National Park - National park in Timisoara / Temesvar, Romania
Amazing place! Beautiful forest and many waterfalls also a hike in intresting tunels with specatacular views. Certain parts of the route are equipped with cables but is not a verry dificult route and the landscapes are breathtaking.
Very nice
Nice trail with interesting old tunnels. A must too visit, rare in Romania.
Incredible place in Romanias natural landscape.
Perfect
Very beautiful location to visit for walking route enthusiasts. You have many chooses in the area: from very long paths for complete Cheile Nerei (aprox. 8 hoursto shorter ones like Șușara waterfall. No matter what you chose youll get recommendations from the accomodations owners. I recommend to stay in the Sasca Română village. You have plenty of accomodations to chose from, I recommend "Pensiunea Patru Anotimpuri" for their large rooms and nice restaurant.Since you can not get beauty without sacrifice, the roads which gets you to different starting points for the walking routes are very highly damaged and youll cry for your car; I really hope in the future the authorities will do something about it.
Beautiful and remote places....everyone must visit just once in lifetime
Great park and a beautiful nature!
A beautiful and wonderful place, astonishing sites and wildlife
Just perfect.
One of the most beautifull nature visiting places in Romania! Definitelly worth!
The beautiest place seen, with true colors which can be seen in the spring. A natural waterfall in the middle of the forest with a cavern which can be visited. I reccomend to be seen in the spring or summer and if you want to see it as an ice waterfall you can go also in the winter, but pay attention to have the proper weather.
The most beautiful water fall in the world, you really must see this amazing place!
some of the most beautiful canions I have visited so far, it is hard to describe, the Nera keys are a natural wonder!
The National Park is a good hiking place however, we were somewhat disappointed to arrive at the Beusnita falls and note that, apart from a trickle of water probably from underground and at the base of the rocks, there was not a single drop of water from the falls itself. Possibly the park authority should make the situation at the falls clear before the 1.5 hour walk (alot uphill and on loose stonesso the traveller can make an informed decision as to whether to undertake that particular walk. On the plus side the Blue Lake was very pretty specially as it was a warm sunny day and the water seemed to appear at its best.
Nature in its splendor, worth a late autumn hike (we made it in 2:30hfrom Socolari
Amazing nature. Beautiful colorful lakes and cascades. Not demanding hiking tour to get to all these places.
Amazing water features, the only downside is the human intervention with bridges on top of waterfalls and through lakes which spoils the beauty
Wide variety of hiking paths to choose from which are well marked, beautiful nature and nice people to help you with tips. Take care at the vipers tho!
Is the most wildest part of Romania with a lot of trails. Visit Ochiul Bei, Tunelele Romane ( tunnels that romans used to pass the mountains with supplies also Lacul Dracului ( a very deep lake, legend says it doesnt have a bottom ). You can also go with the bike on most of trails, on some parts you have to be carefull though and push bike.
A place to remember! Dont miss this tour if youre around the area. Just dont!
Recomended for clean air, thick forest, great road for driving lovers, great tracks for hicking,waterfalls,lakes...CLEAN & BEAUTIFULL NATURE
Magic!
This place is amazing, many beautiful landscapes and reaching the waterfall only takes one hour.
The perfect symbiosis of cliffs, water and vegetation.
I visited Lacul Dracului. Dont regret it. It is a great place to visit.
Great place, wonderful nature
Nature at its best without human being attacks yet. Worth to visit this magic park early hours
It is really a beautiful piece of heaven. Quiet, not so turistical. Roads are bad but it is totaly worth it. I reccomend to do the whole trail, rafting is also available, also camping is allowed, there is a camping place but it is also ok along the banks. I totally reccomend to eat trout from the reserve, there is a small trailer that prepares right near the camping place. It is delicious and very fresh. Please be careful with nature if you visit, this is a natural reserve, try to protect it.
Some of the best waterfalls in ROmania are found here. Not to be missed: Bigar, ochiul Bei, Beușnița, Văioaga, Șușara. The paths are well maintained, clearly marked and some of them are easily reachable for anyone. It requires multiple days to visit. But its worth it. Believe me :just look at the picture and start preparing your next trip!
Wonderful landscape but do not go if it rains without proper gear. Well marked routes.
A very nice place to visit. Lots of walking trails, woods, springs and waterfalls. Trails could be marked better though, and some signs could be added - that show the direction from the waterfalls towards the path carved in the clifs and hanging bridge in Sasca Romana village.
Very interesting place to see with good food and nice people to meet
Excellent nature attractions and trails. The perfect place for biking, hiking and a lot of other outdoor activities.
this place is recommended for relaxation and meditation
Beautiful Beusnita waterfall and Beiuluis Eye lake. The trip to the lake from the road on foot is about 8km but it is a relaxing, through the woods walk.
One of the most beautiful places Ive seen in Romania. Amazing landscapes! The place is hard to reach, so the area does not offer touristic confort, but is great for camping. The mountain trips range from easy and accesible with children to difficult 8 hours long.
Loved it...but bad roads!!!
Awesome place. I loved the tunnels and the landscapes. Very clean. The cable bridge is also great! Go, visit, take photos, but leave the place clean!
Definitely a place worth visiting. Nice places to see like Bigar Waterfall (voted #1 most beautiful), Ochiul Bei Lake, Beusnita Waterfalls, Neras Canyon.
One of the most beautiful national parks of Balkan Peninsula
Amazing nature, lots of waterfals and lakes in untuched forest. River Beu (near vilage Potoc)is very clean, you can drink water from it. Theres camp on that river, and you can buy drinks and food there(its cheapbut its limited, so if you camp here buy suplies on time, there is very few stores around. If you come from Serbia buy food and drinks in Kaludjerovo(Serbia).
Ochiul Beiului is a lovely sight. There is a lot of walking involved though so if you dont have a car thats up for it, prepare for a hike.
Great for hiking and camping. Amazing views
Quiet place with great scenery and a beautiful waterfall
Amazing views and a very nice drive through the mountains.
One of the most beautiful national parks in the country. Very diverse landscape with beautiful gorges and waterfalls. Great for hiking and camping. Plan to stay at least 3 days to see at least some of the great places it has to offer.
Awsome waterfalls and amazing clear water with an interesting color
Nature at its finest!
A beautiful and wild place, everyone needs to see!
