Privilege
Nice and hot food. Small selection but all the food is very good quality. Very good reviews from other people. The owner came talk to us and got some responses. Clean place with good ambience. Great staff and good service. Great place with lots of options for vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Would recommend trying the chicken curry, biriyani, and pappadam.
MoreThe lunch buffet was great!
I’ve eaten at maybe 10 different Indian restaurants in the city and this is one of my favorites. They use unique spice blends that set it apart from other places
MoreWe went there yesterday. The staff are friendly. We oder some appetizers and Nepali thakali thali. Appetizer was good but the Nepali thakali thali is not good as we expected.
MoreFirst time trying Afgan foods. Food was good , service was very good and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Do believe we will be returning.
MoreOrdered: saag paneer, butter chicken, momos, onion naan, Kashmiri naan, one of the Nepalese dishes I forgot the name ofPretty solid place if you want the “Indian restaurant” experience. All curries were flavored richly and everything was seasoned generously. Portions were standard, if not a little small, but the price was worth the delicious meal. Would have been 5 stars if we didn’t have to wait a good 30-40 mins for food, even though we were one of two parties in the entire restaurant! We came for dinner but I suspect this would be one of my favorite places if I came for the buffet — I just eat a lot.8
MoreThe food was incredible. We ordered the "House of Feast" and each item was delicious. The host (Kavita diis amazing and so kind. This is Baltimores "must eat" restaurant. Thank you for the yummy food.
MoreFirst time eating Nepalese cuisine - everything was delicious, and the service was great
MoreI tried the Lunch Buffet (veghere and the food was pathetic - pakodas were soggy, samosas had some foul smell. Veg biriyani and white rice was so awful, Dal was tasteless, Naan was soggy as well. The only good items were aloo jeera, Gulab Jamoon and Masala Tea. That deserves an extra star if not it would have been 1 star! Also not to forget about the washrooms, they stink to the core!
MoreThe staff is friendly and the food tasted good. Unfortunately, I started getting sick to my stomach anout an hour after I ate. Its 16 hours later and I havent been able to eat anything else since. Im sure it will clear up in the near future, but it didnt make for a fun night.
MoreBest and authentic nepali base food in Washington DC. Their service was awesome.
Came to the Nepal House for dinner before a play at the neighborhood community theater. Bottom line, the Nepal House kicked off the evening so very very well. The food was delicious. The service is friendly and efficient. The amphsoher is perfect for visiting and being with friends. I suspect well be back soon!
MoreOrdered a curry and rice online. They only provided half of the usual quantity and when I called, they said nothing can be done. They offered no refund nor any type of compensation or promise of better future delivery.
MoreI was at Hopkins for internship and wanted to order food so I ordered vegetable Momo (dumplingsbut it was not Nepal style. I was expecting Nepali flavor but it had beans, carrots, corns, and peas. I did not like it at all! The gundruk soup’s tomatoes and soybeans was not cooked fully.
MoreWe visited there as a group of around 20. We called in advance and the owner (Pandewas very helpful. He had the table ready when we got there and was very helpful.Buffet was great too with different variety of food.
MoreWe arrived there just in time for the buffet lunch. This was our first time visiting this restaurant and it was a pleasant experience all together. The restaurant is roomy, well lit up and very clean. The staff was very welcoming and really nice. The buffet had a lot of varieties to offer. Along with there being lot of items, each dishes were really delicious too. The gulab jamun and masala tea deserves a special mention. The gulab jamun was warm yet moist and sweet. The masala tea was delicious and energizing. All together had a great experience and will definitely come back to dine when in town. Definitely recommended!!
MoreWonderful dining experience! Delicious food, excellent tea, fantastic service! Highly recommend!!!
MoreIncredible food. So good. Awesome service. My family and friends will be back.
On the way lunch at Baltimore. Great lunch buffet spread and scrumptious food. They had something to please everyones palate.Lots of street parking available outside and belly full of good food inside.
MoreLovely atmosphere, lovely people, and delicious food! Definitely will be coming back to enjoy the food and the wonderful naan again!
MoreWeve been here three times and have loved it each of those times. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly prompt service and delicious food. Great place to go with family and friends
MoreExcellent food, nice atmosphere and even better service. Pande was so helpful in choosing menu items. Really enjoyed the momos, chicken vindaloo and the naan was so fresh and perfect!!
MoreExcellent place! My fiancé and my favorite spot for Indian food in the city. Rated one of Baltimore’s top 50 restaurants. Great vibe and atmosphere, clean, great date spot. The garlic naan and butter chicken are amazing!
MoreWhat a wonderful meal I had. Great service and atmosphere. The amount of food you get for the price is outstanding. Huzzah!
MoreOne of the best-value Indian lunch buffet options(+Attentive, fair & patient service, lower cost (13$ a person for weekday lunchfor a decent variety of entree options before adding the fact the weekday buffet includes masala chai, 2 dessert options and basic fruits, soup and 3 types of bread (including the typical buffet complimentary naan).Saag dish was brighter/lighter color green and tasted good, either using more cream or cooking the spinach for a shorter time to let the flavor shine through. Masala chai has sweet/unsweet options & tastes just as good as some coffee shop’s, the creaminess & sweetness helping cut/complement the strong spiced tea flavor for 1st time masala chai drinkers.(-Only caveats are some dishes. All of the sauces/entrees have good seasonings.Unlike any other Indian buffets,’ the gulab jamun here tasted like it wasn’t freshly made (inside color was darker compared to the light yellow-white color other places’ has, had less of the desired creamy/cheesy flavor, and was overly saturated with the sweet syrupwhich was a shame.Overall, I’d come back to this place to try the new buffet dishes other reviews suggest. If you don’t feel like sitting down for the tea & service, you can still stop by & pick out food from the weekday buffet to fill a small lunchbox for 15$. Great for tasting a wider variety of Indian dishes with a smaller but quality staff.
MoreI ordered ridiculously spicy chicken that I really delved into! Garlic Naan bread that was devine and they have a mustard soup that will hit you with bursts of flavors. This place really is extraordinary and service is prompt! Will return here!
MoreFood taste was on point...its so delicious delicious wonderfully delicious seasoning just right...dont know what it cost to eat their.we had buffet..I was treated to Napal HouseMr. Mr. Paid....
MoreThe food is exceptionally delicious & very reasonably priced! The delivery person is always so kind & smiling, too. There is NO delivery fee so I have more $ to order more food & leave a nice tip. I moved here from NYC & this place has taken over as my absolute favorite Indian/Himalayan/Nepalese restaurant ever. I just cant say enough about how great Nepal House is!!! ❤️🇳🇵❤️
MoreAmazing food! Delicious and authentic, highly recommend if you’re looking for Nepalese food in Baltimore. Food was fresh and so flavorful! Staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Will definitely be back!
MoreWonderful service and great food. Was impressed by the hospitality and should compliment the chef who presented authentic Nepali cuisine. Buffet lunch is a must try!!! My favorite place to eat in Baltimore!!!!
MoreEvery aspect of this restaurant is what makes it horrible. Starting off with the ambience, there is way too much decorations and that makes the place dirty. The bowls that they gave for the momos were plastic and had curry stains on them. Next off, the customer service was really weird and off. From far away they pushed this cart that was so loud and announced that our food was here. When we didn’t finish our food because of the horrible taste, they told us to finish off what we have left. Then, the food was so gross. We ordered veg momos and there was no ginger or garlic. THEY PUT PACKET VEGETABLES INSIDE THE MOMOS!!! This place is the worst never visit please. 🤮🤮🤮
MoreAmazing restaurant. The interior is gorgeously decorated. The food is fresh and flavorful. We are especially happy that the lunch buffet has re-opened - couldn’t recommend that more. Best of all, the staff is extremely friendly and courteous. 5 stars always.
MoreIncredible food and incredible service! Without a doubt, Nepal House is one of my favorite restaurants in Baltimore city. I cannot recommend it enough. Also, their lunch buffet is amazing!!!
MoreMy family had dinner at Nepal House on Friday and the food was AMAZING! We all loved it! It was our first time there and will definitely return. Thats THE best food I have eaten in quite some time. They deserve 7 stars! After the dinner the owner graciously offered ice cream to my children as a treat.
MoreNice atmosphere and the service was good. However, I thought the entrees could have been better. I’ve had the same dishes elsewhere and was blown away, however it’s not bad, but nothing was spectacular.
MoreI had some guests over and ordered 3 chicken dumplings from them and had clearly asked for 3 spicy sauce for the dumplings. This is the 7th time and there isn’t even a single spicy sauce with the order while I was supposed to get three. Such an embarrassment, as I was talking to my guests about the dumplings being real good with the spicy sauce and they were actually really looking forward to it and you guys didn’t even send me one. Even the regular sauce was completely bland. This is too much. I really do hope that the restaurant management takes care of this as this is complete negligence. I’m a regular customer here but I would probably have to consider another restaurant to order dumplings from if issues like this persist. I’ve been very patient about this but this is beyond tolerance as this is the seventh time I haven’t received the sauce I asked for with my order.
MoreAmazing food and service!!! Great cozy atmosphere!
Very tasty and flavorful. House specialty biryani and Lamb.
We stop at this resturant when we are around Baltimore or passing by. This place is clean with Nepali vibes. The owner and staffs are fabulous. Their food is awesome too. I love their buffet but due to covid they are not doing it right now which is sad. I don’t have any complaints so far but just a suggestion - “Thakali thali” nowhere feels like Nepali food. Only “greens” was good in the entire plate. Veg Curry and chicken curry we got were with Indian masala and flavor. Was disappointed because the veg curry was made out of frozen mix vegetables with carrots and corns.I love this place because of their food but I am only disappointed with thakali thali that I got. Although expensive, food is always best here but thakali thali is no where near Nepali taste for the amount we pay. We could have gotten an Indian chicken dish instead for paying for thakali thali. I hope you guys will make changes to the dish.
MoreAll around delicious! We got the lamb biryani, shrimp tandoori, saag paneer, garlic naan, and kashmiri naan. Spice level of the lamb biryani was accurate to its description (spicy). The saag paneer also had a spice level of "spicy." I couldnt taste the spice in the saag paneer but my friend said he could. Shrimp tandoori was sizzling when it came out and looked so good. Naan is fresh, buttery, and full of flavor- the best naan Ive ever had. I also got a tasty mango lassi. Wait time was ~20 minutes. There is a dine-in option as well as limited outdoor seating. Service was extremely attentive and friendly.
MoreHave been to Nepal House several times for the lunch buffet and am never disappointed. They have an huge selection of Indian and Nepalese foods that varies depending on the day so you can go 5 times and eat probably 20 different dishes. One of my favorites is the carrot pudding, they dont always have it but its a must-try when they do. Highly recommend overall!
MoreThe food is amazing. The service was excellent. Although some of the reviews spoke about how slow the service was, we told the waiter that we were going to a concert and he took our orders immediately and we were well on our way in plenty of time for the concert. The staff is warm, the atmosphere is peaceful. I definitely will go back when I visit Baltimore again. Very good Indian food, well prepared and nicely spiced. Restaurant owner welcoming and helpful. Room well decorated with posters and paintings of his native Nepal. Even though a large party was in evidence, noise level was not overwhelming so one could enjoy the atmosphere and meal.
MoreDinner was delicious! Portion size were perfect. I recommend this restaurant.
Very delicious Nepalese/Indian food. We got their all you can eat lunch Buffet, and Wish I would have taken pictures of the names of their delicious food items! Lovely family owned small local restaurant. The staff is very nice and attentive. When Im back in Baltimore I will definitely be back! Look them up on Google maps, you wont be disappointed.
MoreThe best Momos my wife and I ever had! We had jhol Momos and it gave us a great Momo hangover! Hard to find such Momos even in Nepal, and were definitely coming back for more...
MoreService was a bit slow( we ordered 3 dishes, 2 kind of breads and 1 snack and we waited almost 45 minutesbut I loved their aloo methi so much! It was excellent! Naan was good too.I liked their vegetable momo but personally I didn’t like that kind of sweet spicy sauce (prefer it was plain spicy sauce only).
MoreNepal House is amazing! It’s certainly a great place to enjoy authentic Nepali, Indian and Himalayan cuisine. I can’t say enough about this restaurant. When dining, I always look for many things, with the following being the top three; Friendly and knowledgeable staff, delicious food, and creative or authentic selections. The owners (Prem and wifeand staff work hard to offer the best food in a very welcoming and cheerful environment. Owners and staff are very friendly and always walk around to engage customers in a quick conversation. They even go to the extent of knowing some of their customers by name. I was rather impressed by this. The food is amazing and always on point. Well done, Nepal House, you’re certainly a great asset to Baltimore.
MoreExcellent food and service in a lovely setting. A nice menu with lots of variety made with high quality fresh ingredients. A wonderful dining experience!
MoreMy favorite Buffet in Baltimore! The food is delicious and the people are so kind! Love that they have masala tea included on the buffet! Tip: pour your self half and half = 1/2 cup of Masala with sugar and 1/2 cup of Masala without!
MoreThe food is rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. Eating here is like having a culinary experience in a different contry. I appreciate the good service too!
