Absolutely fantastic place to stay. They are doing everything right - price, location, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean, great amenities and the finishing touches. Cosy and practical common room with free toast, tea and great coffee for breakfast. Dont miss the the candle lit social meet up each night. Cheap bicycle rental to get you around town. Thank you to the friendly team for making my stay wonderful.

Great deal, everything good except for a weird strong smell in the room. I think it was the Japanese tea "matcha". Nice staff, you can rent bikes and they transport your luggage close to the station, same place you return your rental bikes. Also, cozy living room where you can buy cheap beer, cocktails and sodas (great time socializing there).

I Loved this place. its friendly, clean, comfortable and, above all, the young people working here is wonderful. its not far from kanazawa station and have cheap rental bike. You can walk to the center of town. Hope to come back. matané.

Convenient location, rooms are spacious and clean, lockers are provided to secure goods. Staff speaks English very well. Very accomodating.No elevator on premises so make sure you can carry your luggagr up stairs.

The free bike rental is really nice

This was a wonderful hostel I stayed at with my sister. We got a room to ourselves with 2 cozy beds. It was a decent location. The building itself is a bit older but had a very authentic feel to it and was cozy. Laundry services available there as well as complimentary breakfast of coffee/tea and toast (two large sliceswith some different spreads available.

The common area is great. It is cozy, nicely decorated and welcoming. The kitchen is very well equipped and they offer free tea and coffee all day long (the tea is really good).The room was ok, very simple, nothing special but was clean and had all we needed.There are shared toilets in every floor but showers only in the ground and 3th floor, however they are clean, sapcious and have all you need.The “free bikes” was quite deceiving though, all the bikes were in terrible conditions, most of them had broken tires and one that was ok the breaks weren’t working.

It was an awesome place to stay! Cozy room, clean toilet, adequate lounge room and free breakfast, also friendly staff!

Pretty much what you expect from a normal hostel. The only exception is that you can get entire room to yourself if you book it right. Though there isnt much near this hostel, it is situated a meager block away from Kanazawa Station and is near a bus stop with buses to where the "busy" part of Kanazawa is

Great way to meet people on a budget

With the price tag, theres nothing picky about it, clean and complete with all essentials. Water pressure was fantastic for a good warm bath.

Nice room for two people, and provide customers for free breakfast. Also I love the decorations for the hostel. And the beat is the staff recommended a really nice ramen 🍜 for dinner. Good service.

This is a place which is certainly worth recommendation (taking into account that it is a hostel). Visitors may enjoy clean and nice rooms and comfortable showers. It should be emphasised that reserving a room there you will have a possibility to enjoy a nice breakfast and free bicycle rental.

Good double rooms, comfortable beds. Dorm rooms are standard bunks also pretty comfortable. Nice staff. Good facilities (lounge, kitchen, library, shared bathrooms with great showers). Free drip coffee and toast if you want it for breakfast. Free bike rental! That is a real bonus as it is on opposite side of station from all the main attractions (but just a couple of minutes ride away down dedicated bike lanes).Is family friendly - has kids play room - so was kids about when I was there.

Amazing hostel. The staff were super helpful and the facilities were modern. They had free breakfast of two slices of bread with condiments and free tea and coffee at all hours. The best part was that they gave their guests free bike rental which made travelling around Kanazawa infinitely easier. I would definitely recommend!

I stay at family room at third floor. The room was big enough for three of us. The share bathroom is clean and big. Theres no lift but the super friendly staff will help you. They also have big common space and big kitchen with complete equipment, include rice cooker. Yes, I can cook my rice there. The location is a little bit far away from station, but they provide a free rent bike.

A fantastic and cheap place to stay. The facilities are beyond perfect, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The 300yen bike hire is fair, and a great way to see the city.

Good prices and nice rooms, toilets and showers. Cheap bike rentals made our stay here outstanding. Extra credits for the nice receptionist that was fluent in English.

Very well kept hostel: organized, clean, very nice facilities. Smartly organized to make it simple and convenient for visitors. Lots of information available about the city and the neighborhood.

Friendly staff and on the day we arrived free Onigiri! What a nice surprise ;the restrooms are clean and there are always tee, cookies and a kitchen where you can heko yourself. The best thing is the Super Nintendo with some cute, old retro games like Mario, Kirby or Donkey Kong.

Clean.. comfy.. quiet.. they have separate bathroom for man and woman.. but not every floor has shower room though it has a lot of washtafel in every block.Location not too far from the station but if you kinda hurry you may stop city bus from bus stop near the hostel

A good place to stay in Kanazawa. Great kitchen, great little but spacious Japanese style room, and its near a convenient store.

Very cozy and homely atmosphere. The Staff really took good care of me.

It is a very nice hostel. We would return again if possible.Room and towels are clean, staff is friendly.But it is a little far away from downtown.We rent bikes everyday, and others walk to station and take on bus.Reservation for bikes would be not available.......

Friendly staff. Just FYI that you sleep on mats on floors and the location is a 10 mins (easywalk from the train station. For the price, I definitely recommend this place. Family mart is around the corner for any needs.

Nice place. Lots of local tourists, and very helpful stuff. The internet connection is only good in the common room though and very slow everywhere else. They provide a lot of information on activities around the cities and generally helpful tips while traveling in Japan.

Around 12 minutes walking distance from the station but located in a not so nice area.Hostel is very clean, the beds in the dorm room have curtains so you have a little bit of privacy. They dont offer any foods so you have to bring your own food but family mart convenience store is just 3 minutes walking distance.

Nice enough place. WiFi is unbearably slow. Much grumbling from guests.
