The almost 25-year old park is now under renovation. It is one of the planned Park in Ongole town when the surroundings were with less habitation. Though the youngsters are not much interested in the activities, the senior citizens in Nirmal Nagar are spending their precious time and money for the development of it. A contractor from Vijayawada and a local corporator were played key role in establishing fountain, lawns, childrens playing equipment in the park. The age old tree in the left corner of it symbolizes the parks significance in the locality.
