Negishi - Sushi restaurant in Liestal, Switzerland
Execellent food, freindly service but too loud music.
Very good and original makis. I am kinda addict coming every week and made my friends addict too! I recommend 100%
Great service and great sushi.
Not so much choice, incredibly expansive. In Italy for so much better quality and variety, we spend 6 times less. Its not so much for the price but if I pay 6 times more, I expect to eat something fabulous compared...
Fast and nice service, good and freshly made food, fair prices. Better book the table if you go for dinner ;)
Great food, a bit over-price wven for switherland. But quality is amazing.
Top Sushi
Oh I loved this restaurant. The food is delicious! Sushi 🍣 greatness!
Very tasty, including the vegetarian option
Sushi is okay, but the price is not really justified.
One of the best sushi restorant in Basel. I advise this restorant.
Best sushi and Gyozas in Basel!! Great quality and fair price! I will repeat if I am there again!
Best sushi in town. Great taste, value for price. Love their summer tastes and crunchy prawn is a must. Highly reliable and fresh at all times.
Allways excellent.I do recom the shushi bar.Friendly service, easy going.Well located as just at the entrance of the pedestrian area.Walking distance to old town ant train station
Staff is always extremely friendly. Quality of the food is consistently good. It’s tasty and they often have good deals through their newsletter.
Fresh sushi and wonderful fusion flavours. Negishi is one of the safest bets for good Sushi in Basel.
Price is good not expensive, the place is not so clean, windows tables, the back door really in not good conditions, when you seat out-side, all the outside is a mess, and you wait forever to be served, the warn soap was cold. Service is not amazing depends of the person and the day, they could be an excellent restaurant, but they don’t have a serving police, or a cleaning hight standard.
Beer came in less than a minute; this is how it should be done !!Outdoor seating too !!Relished the sushi here.
All-time favorite so far! The soup was great. The dumplings and sushi were also tasty. Wasabi was the best Ive ever had. The dessert was also super. Let alone the super-nice and friendly waitress!I dont usually give 5 Stars ratings, but this restaurant just offered a great lunch experience.Highly recommended!
I don’t recommend this place. The salmon and tuna sashimi look so unappetizing that I almost couldn’t eat it. But I was hungry and it costs 24.- so I ate it. Absolutely tasteless. I just don’t understand. Sashimi involve no cooking at all. So serve at least fresh and good looking ones. Service was slow and minimal. Never again.
In this period of quarantine, we decided to order sushi for a change. We decided to go for Negishi as our provider. Even though we made the order (Kinmekki - plate for 3in advance (more than 3hrs in advance and the delivery was off the peak periodthe delivery guys arrived very late and the sushi didnt look good nor smelled good. The Nigiri Shake and Nigiri Maguro stinked like rotten fish and the Nigiri Maguro looked almost dehydrated. Moreover, the rice in all makis looked dried. I opened a couple of them to confirm it and that hold true.We decided not to eat because of the BAD QUALITY AND OVERPRICED SERVICE and of being affraid of getting sick. If I had a 0 start to give I would.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.
Reasonable sushi and service. Decent atmosphere for a chilled meal
They have amazing sushi with probably the best sit down ambience
Very good fusion sushi and nice environment. Usually packed, so reserve in advance is possible.
Good food however bit expensive.
Its a good sushi place, located 5 minutes away from the central train station: the plates with a mix of sushis were good and tasty. Friendly and smiling staff and very quick service. Japanese beer was good as well. This place is just a bit pricey in my opinion (even for Switzerland).
Friendly staff. Noodle soup was ok, sushi was good, infused water was refreshing.
Beautiful Italian chef, amazing sushi place and food, great service!See you back soon
Used to be one of the best sushi places in Basel. New focus on mass production has lowered quality massively. Complete lack of respect for what Sushi is supposed to be.
The ice tea was great. I ordered the small poulet nudel soup. It was light and delicious. My friend also ordered a medium size sushi plate which you can see in the photos. It had crispy chicken inside one of them.
The price is not cheap therefore I was expecting a high quality SushiThe fish taste is not fresh ( or maybe the way is treated is not the best ? )The rice doesnt taste like a high standard sushi place. When I try some sushi or Onigiri from any convenience store in Japan ( which is very cheapthe quality surpasses this restaurants main product by far .
Terrible sushi and way overpriced. All the fish was old looking, not much variety, and the dumpling skins were broken and soggy.
Very friendly staff and delicious food. The online booking is professional and you even gets a calendar entry with it.We really enjoyed the fusion sushis and the gyoza. Highly recommend the restaurant.
I loved it so much and am craving to go back again 😁
Food is delicious like in all Negishi Restaurant.... Including absolutly friendly personal and clean toilet.
Delicious and fresh sushi and sashimi in a cute little restaurant tucked away in the alleys in Basels CBD. Pricey (as all things are in Switzerlandbut would go back for sure.
Decent food, friendly staff and great location at mid-price range of Switzerland. Not bad.
i gave it 4 stars but it is 3.5 i was a tourist in Basel but i am sure there were better sushi places in the city. Average
Great sushis, but too expensive !!!! And 6.- per BAGGED green tea ?! This is crazy. We won’t be going back.
Friendly service and very tasty sushi! Try the homemade ginger tea!
Fantastic Sushi! They have a great variety of Tastes. The Rice is always perfectly cooked the salmon melts in your mouth!EAT • SMILE • ENJOY! :))
The worst sushi Ive ever had. So bad that a reasonable explanation might be that they purchase it at Coop and run it over. The fish was pre-sliced, leading to completely dry and flavorless sushi and sashimi. Two stars because my mixed drink was good, so Ill give credit where its due. Also, terrible service. We ordered a round of drinks, a couple dishes, and grabbed a couple sushi train dishes. We were never asked if we wanted another round of drinks and sat for twenty minutes while we waited to be waited on before hailing down a different waitress for our bill. We had to ask for our bill three times and when we stood up to pay at the till (since they werent exactly coming over to us to settle up and we saw another table pay at the till), they accosted us in the aisle as if we were going to leave without paying. Have no idea how they are rated above 4 stars...
Great food. Great service and a lot of original sushi. Monday is the cheap day so head on out. Well worth the trip!
Rather boring menu and too expensive for what it is.They also mix and match within the individual plates, that’s a big no for sushi trainsLots of coffees going around the train...Not going back.
This is one of the best Shusi bars in Basel. Perfect location, we can go for a lunch with colleagues, middle of the city...
Good place for a fast lunch or take away. Even better since they put a lot of new stuff on the menu.
Very nice sushi :)
Friendly staff. Very good Sushi. Pricy for the tke away ambiente.
Junky untrained male waiter. Taste of food is average. Not recommended. Plenty of Sushi restaurants and bars within walking distance
Absolutely overpriced. Two Eastern Europeans making sushi rolls with the help of a machine. Fish quality is average. Never again.
