Neagles Retreat Villas in Clare

Great heating

It’s very spacious two bedroom villa, surrounded by beautiful vines and trees. Also it provides a full function kitchen and brand new Weber bbq.However the place is occupied by a dark crawling worms, they are everywhere. Not sure if it’s a pest control issue or there’s a gap between the door and windows, those worms are on the wall, or crawling on floor, both in living room and bedrooms.I could enjoy more in the villa instead of worrying about the leech like worms.I assume if it’s warm summer days, there’s won’t be a problem; as in a cooler night, the worms are doubled,especially in the kitchen area.

When can we come back! Fabulous stay so quiet and relaxing. Villas so spacious and clean. Definately the best place we have stayed in Clare.

My friend and I booked for two nights at the last moment after something else fell through. Im very glad we did. The villa was clean and comfortable and the surroundings lovely. The location is very close to town, not walking distance, but we were happy to drive the few minutes to town because of the peaceful surroundings. Check in was easy and communication good. We wished we could stay longer!

This place makes you wanna stay longer in Clare Valley! I love waking up with a view of the sunrise over the vineyard. 😍The complementary wine was a really good way to give us a preview of how good their wines are. (Wish you guys had your own cellar door!We tried out the other wineries but we kept comparing it to Neagles. So we ended up contacting the owner to ask where we can do tasting of their wines. He gladly accommodated our spontaneous request and we met up at the pub in Clare Valley Hotel! We got the sparkling version of everything: reisling, rose and moscato. To our susprise, they also had their own sangria which was also bomb!!! Wish your wines were available in NSW! Thanks again for haivng us and for the spontaneous wine tasting session!

We were planning to come back here with the family until a phone call conversation with the contact there. Came across rude and abrupt. Excellent facility but wont go back there. Manners are important.Courtesy and respect are musts!

Easy to book, great instructions to find and access the property and the Villa we stayed in was fabulous in every way.If you want some peace and quite in a high quality setting you cannot go past these villas. Wonderful experience which we highly recommend. Absolutely 10/10. Thanks for your hospitality Deb

Location great,views are excellent, outside balcony table needs some work on it,and cleaning of windows and glass doors neglected.

View was STUNNING! Loved the lambs in paddock out front. Rooms lovely and bathrooms roomy. Heating was great. However no bath to relax in. And apparantly more of a holiday unit, rather than B&B. Only cereal provided for breakfast.

Lovely brand new villas with sweeping views across vineyards

Good little villas. Good; New amenities and plenty of room Stylish and neat. Great balcony and views. Bad; Lacking a bit of privacy as there are no blinds on the front windows. There is no DVD or media input so you are stuck with Foxtel or free to air.
