Ndere Cultural Centre - Cultural centre in Mityana, Uganda
This an excellent site that connects you Ugandas heterogeneous cultures and/or societies.
The performances were stellar 👌.I would come over over again. You simply have to improve customer service; those ladies and gentlemen serving take ages to get you a drink.
Nice place with Ugandan cultural food, dances and crafts.
Hand down the best cultural performance in East Africa. If you visit Uganda you must come to Kampala and see this show and hear awesome drum performances! The buffet dinner is very filling and a full cash bar is available with drinks! Not only is it a great evening out, you are supporting a great cause when you attend; furthering these talented children’s educations!
Its worth paying a visit to see the traditional items from the Ugandan tribes for instance the pots, kalabash, chairs to mention but a few.At the entrance your greeted 😃 by the security guards who are happy to guide you to the reception area.It has a garden for events including weddings, graduation and birthday 🎂 🥳 celebrations.Make it a point to visit 🤸🤸
Beautiful place with a nice setup. It’s a quiet and relaxing place to do work. You can bring your laptop and sit and work. However, their food menu is lacking. Their food prices are really high for the quantity served.
Its a home of cultural entertainment, loved it so much 😊😊🥁
Experience different Ugandan cultures in one place from the traditional dances, food and others.
Rich and diverse cultural heritage and displays. Great food, excellent customer care and its an amazing quick way to traverse and learn about Uganda from the comfort of your seat in an arena or amphitheater
Great atmosphere for creative minds.
Amazing cultural dances from around Uganda and east Africa. Definitely worth checking it out. I hope they come to Canada someday!
Lovely place to visit in Kampala for cultures experience and shows.
Epitome of cultural entertainment.. Wonderful..!!!
The Ndere Center is serene, filled with lush greenery and immediately one enters the premises a sense of ease washes over them. The meals served are excellently cooked and given in extravagant portions. I had the cocktail juice(Mango, pineapple and watermelon)The juice was thick to my liking with no added sugar.I enjoyed the atmosphere; very helpful staff.
Wonderful experience. My whole family was dancing along with the troupe. It was so much fun!!!
More of a cultural heritage. So lovely and People are very welcoming
If you are into dram’s & traditional dance and music, the Ndere Troupe at Ndere Centre is a must visit place in Kampala. It showcases dances from many of Uganda’s tribal groups with high-energy. It is an out side seat amphitheater. You should go there for only the cultural show not for the food.
Expansive out door gardens, serenity and perfect for quiet retreat, picnics, its famous for cultural galas, wedding venues
A place to visit. Very nice dances. Congratulations.
True experience of the African Renaissance. Modernity in innocent intercourse with virgin tropical Africa.
Amazing. Highly recommend this venue
The show was really great. Perfect place to go to learn more about Ugandan culture.
Good place to explore Ugandas culture through dance, drama and storytelling.
Very welcoming, good for cultural gala, good for vacation among others

Loved it so much💪Speacial thanks to some person i dont even know the name, tall dark skinned medium sized gentleman who was concerned wz food on 17th.Hes ril one hell of a man.Bravo to him👏
We went to relax and have a good meal. 6 adults 2 kids. Simple order too almost 2 hours, and to make it worse the pan fried pork dish was chewy and inedible. The rest to food was quite tasteless save for the nice chapati. Zero apologies but very quick with the bill!Next time, we will probably eat out and only attend the cultural show.
UNESCO World Heritage site. Its worth going if you are in Kampala Uganda. Nice experience
The performances were really impressive and they make it an interesting overall cultural experience but it felt veeery touristy in a negative way and was quite pricey.
Lovely place. Nice gardens. More than enough parking area. And tasty food.Did I mention cultural dances? Come for cultural dances on Sunday evening and have the best experience ever
Everything was so nice it truly is a cultural epicenter of Uganda
This is a gem under construction and the place to appreciate the rich culture of Buganda. I loved the detail and art exposed there. It was a phenomenal experience that I will totally recommend to visit and stay. The place has been underated by booking companies but I wish I stayed there instead of the hotel I choose in Kampala.
Always enjoyable and I can repeat this for so many times
Marvelous place with great hospitality I I enjoyed my stay here and had great experience.
Its was super amazing with spacious parking, good food, super kneat and organized. If you area fun of nature, this is a place to be in around kla city.
A great experience of what Uganda and Ugandans represent. Plan your trip to be in Uganda on a Sunday to enjoy the cultural show
I have a meeting at this place and its my first time. Love the African theme of the place. Its very quiet and good for business meetings. They have a conference hall where meetings can be held. A Restaurant that serves both breafast and lunch. Cave Arena stage for their performances.
Amazing preformance of cultural instruments, music and dance and specific parts of Uganda. 3 hr long show so he prepared but the dances and drumming is incredible. Price is a bit steep at 80,000 Shillings for Foreigners with the option of adding dinner for another 40,000. But the preformances was incredible so it was great to watch.
Lovely dance and excellent narration of the culture behind each dance! Very tasty food too!
Where do I even start. If youre ever in Kampala, this is a MUST to go to place. You actually learn alot about the Ugandan culture.Dont even get me started on the show. The performance was top notch and very entertaining. The ladies can shake their waste as if they have no bones. The staff are very friendly. They have a buffet with a wide variety of Ugandan meals.
If you have been to Uganda and you havent see this than you probably havent been to Uganda :this show is amazing and funny. Food is excellent. Absolute must watch. Even for kids. Ticket is 80k for mzungus :and buffet is 40k.
A great experience with entertainment and food. It was great for the the whole family. Everyone from 5 year old to adult enjoyed the show. Just be prepared drinks are not included in price. The MC was funny but would be nice to tell more things about uganda to understand more about the dancing.
In terms of cultural events area, this place offers the best.Theres a blend of different cultures across Uganda. This is more like a one-stop center for the cultural events in Uganda. The management is very friendly, and the owner, whos also one of the performers is so humorous. We had a wonderful treat.Theres ample parking, and the location is very convenient, given that its close to the Kampala Northern bypass highway. The amphitheater is well sized. Downside is that it has no roof cover, which can hamper the thrill when it rains.Theres however more room for development.
I lack words to describe this show. FYI, Im not even white 😂The Burundi drums are so majestic, these other tribes performance are even better. I loved the Ankole performance; theres a guy who sorts of raps better than Busta Rhymes. Oh, did I say the buffet was great? And VERY cheap.
Was an amazing experience getting immersed in the popular cultures of East Africa. There were alot of correlation with West African dances and music, especially very reminiscent of the Middle belt of Nigeria where I grew up. It felt like home but also totally new. The presentation and the art of it was impressive. Ill definitely visit again.
Peaceful Serene place for relaxing and hanging out. They serve delicious roasted beef and chicken. Performances from Cultural dancers of Uganda dressed in colourful cultural attires
The perfect place to visit for someone who needs to know about Uganda in summary. The different cultures in Uganda are expressed through traditional music and dance. The live perdormances of these dances are really amazing to watch. The dancers are jolly, they enjoy what they are doing. I enjoyed the dance from Karamoja, the Kinyarwanda plus also the dance from west nile and cannot forget the sounding of the drums from Burundi . Plus the introductions before the performances give a good insight of what one should expect from the dance, they give meaning to the dance. The climax was really welcoming, the Jambo song where everyone was invited to sing and dance. Wow. I would give Ndere centre a recommendation. For both locals and those visiting the country. Go enjoy yourself as you relax and appreciate the edutainment.
Great place for a weekend evening gate away. If you love traditional or cultural dance shows, this is your perfect gate away. The setting is always great. Parking is secure.. Delicious food and amazing performances. I always love to visit this place and would recommend it for an evening gate away.
Ooh the dances are outstanding! More than 3 hours of back to back dances from different cultures, I must revisit the place again
