Nice place in ancient surroundings. Pleasant owner, good food, reasonable prices.Be aware: the king of the menu - special red sauce - is not written in menu, you need to know about it in advance.And do not worry, it is not that spicy, as owner says ;)

This was such a great and authentic experience. It’s got a great view and Rafik (sorry don’t know the spellingwas amazing. He spent the time talking about the area and some history. The food is sensational and feels like your eating at a locals home. 100% recommend.

One of the best secret cafes in Cappadocia, difficult to reach, but once you do its worth it. Food was delicious and view was terrific from the balcony seats. Manager is a very well spoken, erudite person and very helpful.

Rafeeq is a very friendly guy the cafe is inside a cave. Cave belonged to his family till 80s. The view from cafe is great. The menu is good and priced well unlike the city centre. Rafeeq grow most of the veggies at his garden itself.

Such a beautiful place! One of my favourites places in Göreme. The views are incredible. The food was delicious and fairly priced and the staff is so friendly. Really good service. Definitely worth the walk a bit outside the city center. Wish we had more time in goreme to visit this lovely cafe again!

I had a wonderful dinner here. We opted for the full explanations of all the dishes and I really enjoyed this aspect of the meal! Learning about the historical significance of the recipes was very interesting. I will recommend 100% and the food is not expensive at all !!

Quaint little place up a hill and carved into the rock. Gorgeous view of the little Goreme town and Cappadocia landscape. The small family that runs this place is very friendly and nice. I had the Manti and it tasted really good. Came around 4PM so it’s pretty empty but I think this place will be fantastic during sunrise and sunset. Highly recommend. The walk to the place is definitely worth it.

This family runned restaurant is a must try for lovers of home made style food. The dishes are countable but the ones we tried were filling and tasty.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The family who run this cafe are the friendliest people. The son who served us was so polite, the father welcomed us with open arms and the mother made us a really delicious apricot/almond desert on the house! We went here because Im vegan and the previous reviews suggested so (a good few vegan options!but I would recommend this place to everyone - beautiful surroundings, delicious food, fantastic service. Dont be put off by the little walk out of the main area, its so so worth it :)

Fantastic little lunch spot just outside town. Super friendly staff, the owner grows all the vegetables for the restaurant. Beautiful place to relax and take in the views and reasnoble prices for the area. Highly recommend

This was a wonderful restaurant and the waiters were so kind and professional. Its outside the hubbub of the center of Goreme, so the perfect place to go if you want a romantic dinner or just a peaceful place to enjoy a meal. Also, the food was delicious! This place is amazing!Just a bit separated from the rest of Göreme, but to arrive is very easy. It has beautiful balconies with direct sights to the town.The food was excellent. They made me fall in love with Turkish gastronomy.A nice place with a traditional look and a charming ambience, with few people.

The only reason to come here is nice interior and view. The service wasn’t bad either however this one so far the worst food we have tried in Turkey. We ordered manti and Cappadocian. As you see on pictures, there was a tomato sauce in both of them. Manti sauce had no taste of garlic whatsoever, and the tomato killed all the taste. I could hardly feel any meat. Felt like I ate pasta with tomato sauce. Same with Cappadocian. It has no special taste and the sauce was extra. We also ordered some apple tea with tasted like powder and they added to much sugar. Price and taste don’t match at all.

Wow! What a hidden gem!!!We are so happy we decided to walk over to this cafe and we were not disappointed! Not only the view stunning, but also, the hospitality, the food and the atmosphere just made everything perfect!!!!!I recommend this to everyone who is is Goreme and encourage you to take the walk!We had the best service we had in Turkey so far and will make sure to visit when we come back!!

We came here for dinner for my boyfriends birthday and could not have asked for a more perfect meal and setting. Secluded and calm at the edge of the twinkling city, this cosy cave/terrace/garden restaurant is an absolute gem.The food was delicious but the apple tea was definitely the highlight - we each ordered 3!The warm and friendly owner even came out singing Happy Birthday with a complimentary baklava and candles at the end of our meal, which was such a sweet gesture.Will be back for sure!

Excellent cafe, almost hidden away . Getting there is half the fun ! Food is amazing and with a view to boot! Vegetarians are well catered for and everything is home made , fresh and tasty. Recommended !

Away from the bustle of the main street, this restaurant is peaceful with great views of the rocks. Grilled sandwich was amazing and overall prices are a lot less than in the middle of Göreme.

The best food we’ve had on our entire holiday in Turkey. Please don’t miss visiting this gem. We had the spinach and cheese borek, spinach and cheese gozleme, menemen and apple tea and it was so tasty and filling. The man serving us (I assume the ownerwas so welcoming, funny and really wanted to make sure we were pleased with our visit, which we were! Already thinking about going back for dinner!

Nazar Borëk has to be the most unique place we have eaten at in Goreme. The view is breathtaking and the cave restaurant gives off a cozy and homely vibe. Highly recommend the potato Gozleme - best one we had in Turkey. Appreciative of how warm and friendly Rafik and his son were to us. Grateful that we got to spend some quality time with incredible friends in such a wondrous place!

Idyllic experience at a beautiful restaurant providing delicious local food with the best view of Göreme. We were greeted like old friends by the owner and his son, both of whom were extremely kind and welcoming. The evening was a paired back and humble experience: surrounded by Göremes natural beauty, overlooking the owners farms and the valley below. We were both vegan and the owner was more than happy to cater for our dietary requirements.

Family run business...very home-like food. We really enjoyed the food, service and the view. The restaurant is within the cave and offers great views.Kofte kebab, sac tava were excellent and just the right portion size. Borek and chocolate gozleme were pretty decent too. If you are in Goreme this is the place to go for all your meals. We’ve been a few places which were over hyped with not so great quality of food but at Rafiqs place you get it all. Great local food, great views and most importantly amazing service. The prices are reasonable. You’ll regret if you miss this place

Fantastic eatery on the edge of Goreme that is absolutely delicious!We loved it so much we went twice.Very peaceful location away from the main road, run by a lovely host, whos family previously lived in the adjacent cave home.Very authentic and great value.

Wow, I’m so glad we took the time to venture out here. The gözleme is delicious and the owner of the tiny, family run restaurant is a really warm and friendly chap! Don’t expect fancy dining - you’re looking at extremely local, heart warming grub.We’ll be coming back for more food next time we’re in Cappadocia for sure.

What a place. A must try in Goreme.The place is a little out of the way but way out of this world. Set in a cave, the place will take you back in time.Carved out of stone in 7th century, over 1400 years old with food made with love and care.Rafiq, the owner was great and welcoming. We loved every moment of our stay.Visited in December, the place was quite but good was too good. We sat inside with the heat on, sipped tea, had some food, admires the fairy chimneys, the view. Not enough words to explain the ambience and the food.If balloons rides are a must in Cappadocia, then this should be on your list as well to be wow-ed by something extraordinary in a very ordinary setting.

Amazing family run business. The food and service are both excellent. Hosts speak Turkish and English very well. The establishment itself is in an original cave dwelling (carved out of the rock of a fairy chimney).We went for breakfast (Gozlemeand ended up spending the day there exploring the surrounding area and many beautiful fairy chimneys. We returned for lunch and were treated to hot baked potato on the house. The owner is also a farmer and the grounds around the restaurant produce loads of fresh vegetables. Excellent experience. This is my favorite spot in Göreme. Amazing views, quiet and tranquil. I love their Borek it’s very delicious. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. I totally recommend this place for a peaceful moment.

The best gözleme I had so far! Böregi was also amazing - both fresh, warm and cozy 😉 Place is located further from main road - which is another advantage, as it’s more intimate and with amazing view. Super friendly staff!

Best restaurant in Goreme. The hospitality is great, the views from the terrace amazing, it provides an oasis of peace and intimacy that none of the restaurants in the city does.Regarding the food, it was delicious. We ordered a salad (fresh with high quality ingredientsand two main (meatballs and chicken). The chicken was good, the meatballs amazing, both dishes came with salad, fries and rice (really tasty rice).100% recommended, specially if you are looking for an authentic experience in Goreme!

If you wanna eat in a real cave with an authentic vibe this is the place. Amazing food. I am so happy I found it. We tried different places in our 5 days trip, this was the best. The owner and his son are lovely people.
