Outdoor collection of Polish naval ships, weapons & equipment dating from the 17th century.
Most impressed 👍🇵🇱⚓
Super
Naval museum building is full of army ship and different kind of pirate ship prototypes. Some of them has descriptions in English about what it is and for some of the pirate ships, it was in Polish.Outside building, they have kept quite lot of mighty tankers, missiles and Artilleries for display. You can just stroll around if you have nothing much planned for the day,
Very nice place to visit!
Super
Really nice not too big and buy tickets also for destroyer...
Good exhibitions...Great to see the history
First of all, it’s more convenient to come to the museum during weekdays - you will face with less amount of people. However, the tickets on that weekend were free( surprisingly ), but there wasn’t any queues to entry to the museum, thankfully. The museum itself is very interactive and simple at the same time. The main exhibitions - inside and outside - contain the full-scale models of naval equipment: mines, missiles, guns and cannons etc. It has only 2 flours + additional flour with models of really old sail vessels. Mostly everything has English captions. Then, after inside part, you are welcome to enter the outside exhibition: several full-scale machines like plane, submarine, several tracks stand there and wait for visitors. Best place for kids, especially boys. Also, when I was visiting the museum, there were several old-fashioned cars in front of the museum - cool attraction definitely!
One star less due to some information available only in Polish. Nice cut thought weapons such as topedo or missiles. Lovely models of many ships.
There are a lot of things but nothing stands out. Should be an interesting place for curious children though
Good museum, a lot of exhibits - got some New knowledge about the navy. Might be interstibg both for kids and adults
Super
A beautiful museumEntry fee only 1zlSecond world war monuments
Worth visiting. You can go there without any fee on Sundays.
1 of the many maritime museum in the three cities. A lot of history and very detailed ship models on display
Good place
Omg, best experience in Gdynia- large exhibition, a lot of exponates, free luggage storage and free toilets included.
Super
Super.
Nice museum of polish sea forces
👍👍🏽👍👍🏽
Nice museum but not as good as some other museums in tricity area. Basic museum with a lot of displays and actual naval equipment to be seen, so can recommend if interested in naval warfare. Also a small section for older ships, so something to see for people interested in 16th century cannonships.
Great tourist guide!
Like it.
Naval Museum in Gdynia
Everything is nice
Very interesting place
Great museum, but I wish that it had more information in English
The kids loved seeing all the military stuff. And it was very well presented.
Perfect place
Nice museum of Polish naval history. Good place to show kids.
Three storied indoor snd one outfoorWell organizef war equipment and artilaries warship and planesCheap entrance feesReduction for senior people
Very interesting maritime museum if you are interested in Polish naval history from WW2 to present. One of staff showed me around which was really kind of her explaing the history and exhibits.
Nicely presented contemporary marine history.
Its smaller than it looks, but then so is Polish Navy history. Dont miss outdoor exposition and visit Blyskawica on nearby peer
Small but quite interesting exhibition. It worth to buy one ticket for both museum and war ship. On the roof there is beautiful restaurant with very nice view to the beach and Marina.
Nice museum, not very kindfull employees. They dont speak English
Rather small however quite interesting to see display and information provided. Externally display is nice although poorly maintained. Been, seen, happy.
Great museum, very modern.
Great selection of arms and sea/land artillery on display. All areas of the museum cover a lot of history, well translated and explained. When you buy a ticket it allows you to enter the Blyskawica ship which has a lot of history about the Polish navy. Worth a visit even for regulars, not only military buffs. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Unfortunately when I went on the 5th of May 2018 the museum was closed due to refurbishment. But they did suggest walking around an outdoor exhibition, which was free. Containing aircraft ,guns, depth charges and all sorts of naval artillery.....
Very nice exhibition!
This is me and Henryk and when I visit the Museum of Polish Navy and his exebithion of his collection of war-madallions from different war and with history connected to the former owner of them. Fantastic ..
Good idea, poor execution. The outdoor area has some nice items that stand out, but I doubt they are being maintained and as a result they just gather rust and dust.
Small but interesting museum of Polish & historic naval exhibits, well worth a visit
Lots of interesting exhibits, especially the ones outdoors! The ticket only costs you 2zl if you buy a ticket combined with the Blyskawica warship (you dont have to visit both on the same day).
It has a nice collection inside, but it is neglected severely when you walk outside. Maybe its a funding issue but its definetily not worth a second visit...
Nice museum, has torpedos and other naval warfare artifacts, however half of the museum is in english so it is hard to understand what you are apreciating. Still recomend to visit it.
Very interesting museum
Very nicely done
