If you like naval history its a must visit. Fascinating exhibits, weapons, replica ships, uniforms etc
Brilliant and free to veterans and about €7 for others lots bigger than it looks and has a shop which sells all sorts of stuff.Thank you will come again.

I enjoyed the visit here. My first Naval Museum. The motto of the training school ("If you want peace" in Latinis awesome (prepare for war).
Good exhibition about the Spanish Navy and its influence on the world. Displays both in English and Spanish plus audioguide.
I really enjoyed this museum. So interesting to read about the history of it all.
Took the opportunity to visit during the Museum Night weekend and was super impressed with the exhibits displayed. Overall a great exposure to the navy history with amazing range of ships and weapons from the olden days. Would definitely recommend families to visit as means of educational purposes!
Just 3 euros for this interesting museum.
Worth a walk round...but not all exhibits have english captions.

Great museum. Nice staff they will answer any question that you have. A little shop with a very nice guy that explained my son everything about the items in the museum.
Not too much English title only the historic things translated. Submarine in the next building must see.
Well worth a visit good range off things to look at. The submarine is in a separate building. The museum is free,but 3 Euro,s to see the sub, it as a small shop to.
Great museum of naval spanish history
Very beautifully exhibited, great for pictures and taking kids.
Great place to visit. Beware of the opening hours. Open until 2pm usually. Not sure why. But make an effort to visit the place.

Could use some more information On the different items and their usage. The ticket is voluntarily, but cheap, so keep it running and donate

If you are interested in naval history, you must visit this museum
Little basic but a few great exhibits and for 3 euros, you cant really complain at all.
Worlds first fully operational sub is on display here along with other naval exhibits, well worth the 5 euros entrance fee, plus Cartagena is a great place to visit.
Great little museum over 2 sites. Wasnt expecting much, just having a wonder around town and found a really interesting look at Spanish naval history. Great displays, detailed English descriptions for most and an enjoyable couple of hours

Great free museum with good displays for adults and children
I reckon its a must visit if you happen to be in cartagena. Place is full of genuine exhibits and replicas and offer some sollid information about naval development in Spain. There is one sector dedicated to spanish naval engineer isaac peral who is considered to be one pillar the of spanish and worlds naval architecture.
Lovely visit! Manuel, the guide made it even better. A must see.
Interesting naval museum ,wide history of both surface ships and submarines. Only need to give a donation towards upkeep and renovation of exhibits for entry
Nice nautical museum. Entrance fee is voluntary €3, cash only. We visited the museum for about 1 hour and especially the mining and submarine part had a strong interest of our kids.
Good, informative museum. Building bright and airy. Great improvement on the old museum.
