We found Cafe Nautica when looking for cevapi on a trip from Windsor to Niagara Falls. We were so pleased with the service and the food was incredible. We have recommended Cafe Nautica to so many friends and family visiting. Will definitely be back!

The best food we had this week to celebrate my husbands bday!!! A cozy Serbian restaurant in downtown Niagara that serves THE best grilled meat platter and freshly made pita bread with kajmak and Ajvar! Mamma mia!!! Slurrpppp!! Mind blown!! The ambience is so laid back you feel like you are in your friends place/backyard. We were made to feel special. Will definitely frequent!!

Ouch, boy, do I sense some racism at this place?I am a brown guy who visited this place with my girlfriend on Saturday at 8 PM.We were very politely shown the door mentioning that the 30% filled restaurant is fully booked for the night, and that it was a special night. He told us some band was playing (by showing us an unplugged guitar kept in the corner).Before this excuse, the chef told us that the restaurant is booked for next two weeks in advance.Finally, to top it off, before we left the chef asked us “you guys want to eat food? then come in the morning….”Haha, it’s funny he needed so many excuses, when just saying “we only serve white people” would have saved time for both of us.Hope you improve brother. :)

Had our first actual meal, not just snacks, here and I must say we were very happy with everything, the service was on point and the kitchen was amazing!! Will be back again and again!!

Unbelievably delicious meal and the service was outstanding! We were a party of 6 and Zoran the chef welcomed us and treated us like royalty. Instead of ordering off the menu he said he would create a meal for us. He brought out a lovely salad, the most amazing homemade bread with the best cream cheese and red pepper spread.to follow he made a platter of several meats all cooked to perfection. Will definitely come again!!!!

Walking in prior to the kitchen being opened, I think they could tell we were hungry and he gladly opened up his kitchen early, got some simple fries and they were GOOD VERY GOOD! very impressed with service and pricing,will be back love the hideout patio.

It was great food and surprisingly mojito was amazing! The day, I felt a bit sick. But I still wanted to drink something :D and I decided to order mojito which I dont even like mint!OOMG! I could tell the mojito was great with less experiences. I let my partner to drink it. He was amazed too and we ended up recommending to other customer and they loved it as well! I think because of the bartender who is Cuban! She knows what to do :)My feeling was much better after drinking and start eating dinner which i stole from him. LOL! It was great too! the meat was so tender and tasty!I highly recommend the bar!!

Worst service I have ever experienced. Server cannot take your order, you can only order from the chef directly. This was told to my party 20 minutes after we have been seated waiting for our first drinks (which the server did not know what the two bottles of wine they carried were). I proceeded to go into the restaurant to order from the chef. The chef told me to "go sit back down, I am busy". Sir... that is why servers take orders. Ive been told this place has good food but I did not get to try it, as I left after my very rude encounter with the chef (who I believe is the owner). I would suggest to the the owner to hire staff he can trust to take orders and not to micro manage. This way he can focus of getting food out for his customers to have an enjoyable experience.

Loved it! The staff are amazing, kind and friendly! There is indoor and outdoor seating. The food is tasty and the best! Highly recommend to go there and try some amazing Balkan cuisine!

I love everything about this place. Excellent service, amazing food prepared in the best possible way. Mixed meat was glorious! The owner was so kind that it was a pure joy talking to him. Stopped by after reading the reviews. We ordered mixed meat for four people. Wowwhat a treat! We found the owner (Zoran & Taylor the serververy hospitable. Top notch service matched with Serbian cuisine and ambience. Can not wait to return back!

Cafe Nautica is by far the best restaurant in Niagara Falls, winning on its Food, Hospitality and Service. The owner Zoran is the most friendly guy youll meet, and a fantastic chef. Most of the food is Serbian themed and is rich and tasty. I was in Niagara Falls for work for a week in June and he was just setting up his patio as everything was moving to outdoor dining. I talked with Zoran at length and he filled me in on what was going on in Niagara Falls and cooked a delicious meal. The portions are huge and the sides, the bread and salads, come with Kamjak, a rich Balkan cream cheese and a red pepper dip. I ended up eating there three times that week and the last night my girlfriend joined me and was impressed with the food and atmosphere. I felt like I had a friend in Niagara Falls. When I returned again last week for work, I ended up going there three times again! Zoran remembered me from the summer and gave me a complimentary shot. My girlfriend joined for the last day again and we had a fantastic time. I would highly recommend steering clear of the commercial, generic restaurants on Clifton Hill and Fallsview and having some fantastic Serbian cuisine in a place that feels as welcoming as home. You will most definitely leave there full, satisfied and happier than when you arrived. Check it out!

We ended up at Nautica by accident - we were on Queen St intending to go another place that turned out to be closed. As we were already hungry, we decided to see if Nautica was serving.And were so glad they were! We didnt know quite what to expect; the prices werent that high. But the food tasted like that from one of the fanciest restaurants Ive been to.It was so amazing. We had the mixed grill: a delicious selection of pork kebabs, grilled chicken, sausages, cevapi, and pljeskavica(! beef patties with I dont know what kind of spices but the perfect ones), topped with salty-rich Balkan-style cream cheese. We had salad of ripe tomatoes, sweet peppers, cucumber, onion and feta. And we also had fresh bread, light and yeasty and just a bit crispy like it had been oiled before baking. I joked that I wanted to divorce my husband and marry the bread. It was very good bread.And through all this, the chef served us himself, and was wonderful - and very sweet while we raved about his food. Also: southern Ontario and Toronto need more Balkan food. Especially pljeskavica and that delicious, delicious bread.Edited to add: We also had some baklava from here the next day. It was the best baklava Ive ever had.

My husband and I really enjoyed our home cooked meal. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. We are both from Europe so it was nice to have some real food as opposed to the Wendys or BK food so popular in the area.

It was a spontaneous trip to Niagara Falls with my dear friend on Saturday afternoon. We heard about this little restaurant from our mutual friends. I must say that it was very nice surprise. Conveniently located on busy street,.very clean and elegant dining area, bar with a lot to choose from, delicious food and most of all- exceptional service. 100% recommended 🙂🙂

It was a delight to eat in a restaurant that actually prepares good food from scratch. The meal was delicious with excellent presentation. The restaurant is in a quiet location in old Niagara Falls. Id highly recommend Cafe Nautica to anyone looking for something different and truly special.

Let me start off by saying that the food is great; but the fact that he chose to add to the quantity of the mixed platter of meat made me give him a 3-star. I even further reduced my rating to a 2-star because he chose to take care of me on his own by adding an order of salad (which I havent ordered At the end of our meal he told me all the food was for a meal of even more than four people (and it was only myself, my wife, and a child He sure TAKE CARE of me alright. When I seen the bill I was floored, and even had to struggle to come up with enough cash to pay for this EXPENSIVE meal, as he doesnt accept plastic. I honestly thought I found a restaurant I would eat at every time we go to Niagara Falls, but his idea of TAKING CARE of me is nothing I would welcome anymore, just like he wont see me anymore.

Hey....I have my own special experience yesterday Friday afternoon at around 4pm. Well, the food I had for my dinner was better than same food in Serbia where i was two years a go. It was fresh, very tasty and succulent. Ill definitely come again for dinner to this Restaurant because cleanliness and friendly service is great and athmoshere with concept is so relaxing. I write my comments because I want anyone to know that one restaurant with Serbian cuisine has such a good service and ethnic dishes with five stars quality ... yet reasonably priced menu. Thank you. Amazing food. Excellent hospitality. Wonderful experience. We stopped by 10 months ago while on vacation. We arrived within 30 minutes of closing and the kitchen was already closed, but we were still presented with the most amazing meal, that included the shopska salad, fresh pita bread, and a massive meat platter on a gigantic bed of quite possibly the best fries we have ever eaten. Needless to say the whole experience was great. We enjoyed the food and hospitality so much, we made it a priority to come back. Again, we were not disapointed. Still got the bread and the shopska salad, but this time we got the chicken. Just like last time, the food and hospitality were perfect. If you are in the area, this little place on Queen St. should be a priority.

We just happened to discover this charming restaurant while looking for a bank to get some Canadian money. The owner’s name is Zoran and he couldn’t have been nicer! We had a lovely salad, fries and some of their special bread. Since I could eat the cheese ( which my husband lovedhe made me a special eggplant and pepper spread. The wine was also very good. He has a full bar and nice wine selection. It was literally the best meal we’ve had during our entire stay at Niagara Falls. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, generous portions, great service, and cute restaurant. We ordered the pita with dip, Greek salad, and meat platter and left very full and happy. Owner/servers were really friendly and nice. I would recommend this restaurant and would love to return next time I’m in the area.

Great place of Serbian cuisine! Chief made us big plate mix of meat, salad, fries and lovely bread. Also he turned on Kazakh music, because we mentioned that we are from Kazakhstan (so nice). We all seven went from there happy and well fed! Definitely will come back again ;-).

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in Nautica restaurant . We could not find a better place for it. The restaurant had the fancy white tablecloths, peaceful music and very delicious food. The chef himself came to talk to us asking what he could cook for us!! We highly recommend the place if you enjoy more privacy and want to get away from the crowds from the strip. Food is very reasonably priced.

My family and I were looking for a nice restaurant to have dinner that was away from the tourist crowd of Niagara Falls. We stumbled upon Cafe Nautica and were not disappointed! This was the best food we experienced on the entire trip. Even my picky 10 year old loved the flavor and spices of the Balkan food. My mom has dietary restrictions and the owner was more than accommodating, customizing a meal just for her. His sincerity, hospitality, and amazing culinary skills are hard to be found in todays restaurant environment. Do yourself a favor and take time to experience Cafe Nautica.

This place and Zoran was amazing! My Husband and I had just eloped hours earlier and we were looking around town for somewhere to eat. The local neighbors recommended Nautica, so we gave it a try. I cannot believe how good the food and service was. He really made our night extra special and it was a feast to remember.

Incredible owner who has consistently taken care of my group of friends for our annual visit. We really should go more often. I’m happy to see this place getting good reviews as I can’t think of a better place to have a drink in all of Niagara. Not touristy at all, a real treat.Keep it up!

Very clean and authentic Balkan atmosphere. We were visiting Niagara Falls and ran across this restaurant by chance. So glad we did. Food and atmosphere is exceptional. But we absolutely fell in love with the owner Zoran. What an amazing person and incredible business owner. He made everything fresh while we waited and turned on cartoons for our kids. He even offered to hold the baby while we ate!! Cannot wait to visit again. This place will be our first stop. Highly recommend! Thank you Zoran!!

Great food, but would have liked a potato option or rice in place of French fries. Also, on a Friday night there were at least 3 undesirables who had far too much to drink and swore loudly while threatening to punch each other in the mouth. I guess thats classic Niagara Falls, it was entertaining, but not to everyones taste. Waitress was very friendly and welcoming. Chef/owner also very friendly and you can tell they care about their customers.

I highly recommend Nautica Cafe for its great testing Serbian food, and an excellent service. Zoran, the owner and the main chef, was extremely friendly and accommodating. He was very polite to introduced himself, and even treated us with free shots of traditional pear brandy. The mixed grill dish (the size for twothat we ordered was big enough to feed three or four fully grown people. The food was cooked to perfection, and it was very nicely arraigned. If you are in the town for a visit, looking for a nice quiet place to have a dinner or just want to taste something different with a great flavor then Nautica Cafe is the place you should definitely visit.

After a long drive to the falls that had us arrive at midnight, we were greeted with open arms by the owner/bartender/chef and waiter of an authentic Serbian restaurant. His hospitality and delicious assortment of meats and bread was truly appreciated. I highly recommend it.
