Natural Bridge of New England - Tourist attraction in Hancock, United States
The Natural Bridge itself was closed, but we parked at the entrance and walked up to the park itself. Very nice views, and very scenic, but I just wish there were updated signs on closures, and information online about the closures.
GPS directions are wrong!!!!!Look up Natural Bridge State Park
Worth a detour if youre already in North Adams. The setting is quite pretty and the waterfall is stunning. Access to the gorge itself is a bit restricted so viewing the hollowed out rock formations is a bit awkward. But definitely with a visit.
When I think of a natural bridge, I think of a rock formation that looks like a much longer bridge than this one actually is. I had high expectations and was moderately disappointed. The "bridge" itself is very small in length, only three or four feet in length. Nice place to walk around
This is an amazing natural treasure. The geologic significance and natural beauty is unlike anything I have ever scene. A must see if traveling in the area.
Breathtaking!!
Nice stop. Fantastic nature scenes and cool man made features.
Short walk Amazing scenery
You cant drive up but you can still walk up. Definitely worth a visit
Its cool 😎
Would have been nice to see....
Really awesome place to explore.
It was our first time. I was amazed by how easy it was to reach the Natural Bridge. My six-year-old didn’t have any issues which is a great thing because I want her not to be discourage. Other nature enthusiast were friendly. It’s definitely worth the drive and my daughter said that we should do it again.
If youre into geologic features this place rocks.
Super cool. Easy access. Park at bottom for free. Off season is even better! All to ourselves
Really cool!
Not much to it. Worth seeing once, I guess, but the grounds are small, and if you’re not staying for a picnic, it’s really not worth the $5 for parking. You can barely see the Natural Bridge, itself, but the small canyon is amazing. Still, it’s really a 15 minute stop and not worth the money.
Wicked cool!
Nice features and easy to access on foot or bike. It used to be a quarry, yielding strange cuts in the rock.
Beautiful place
A nice place to go for a walk. Theres a little swimming area along the road. Very beautiful anytime of the year. Great place for a picnic as well. Be nice if there was a playground as well for small kids. Dogs are welcome on a lease too.
Wonderful place for weekend, there is the bridge, small spring where you can swim in summer...
Beautiful spot. New Englands only naturally forming rock bridge and museum spot for historic marble dam.
