Gourmet coffees, freshly-made cakes and snacks in a relaxed and airy spot near the riverside.
Decided to have a meeting here, grabbed a couple of coffee (espresso and a flat white), not cheap but a great location.Sitting outside is fine, although the seating is a little flimsy - why not sit inside as theres some really comfortable seating and tables which are great to socialise around or work at.
Really great place to work, quiet and plenty of tables with sockets to plug in. Beautiful views and good food and coffee.
Good staff, nice pastries, ok coffee.
I only pay to use the car park
Nice coffee and pastries. Not many places to sit, but you can find a seat in the open areas of the NT.
My personal go-to place for coffee and contemplation.
Open bar even before the lockdown had finished.
Used to be a lovely place. Nowadays ANY type of people go there for a midday nap!!!
Had a mocha for 3 quid, very nice. Had an Americano for 2.30, even better. Really nice coffee.
Pricey as youd expect, but also with one of the best spots to sit and think on the Southbank.
A surprisingly nice cafe tucked away along the Southwark river bank. The muffins are fluffy and moist. Rich coffee!
Excellent coffee, friendly staff, best in the area. Great place for that morning caffeine hit.
Super small macchiato, rude and unfriendly staff. I was so shocked that I left my Coffe and walked out. Absolute disgusting service
Best coffee Ive found in the area and Ive worked in the area for over 2 years.Great outdoor seating and at a national treasure.Good for work meetings.Probably the best coffee Ive found because its so good and convenient its stopped me exploring for coffee!
Amazing location, really good coffee. Cakes are not bad either.
This is a really good place to meet friends or for work meetings. The cafe has good coffee and the ambiance is nice.An improvement would be to have some gluten free cake and savory food options
Great coffee in a wonderful area of this our beautiful London town .also theres a food market on Fridays well worth a visit 🙏
Great coffee and snacks with plenty of options
Called here whilst out and about on the south bank.A small cafe with limited seating available inside and out. Friendly enough staff and a fair range of snacks available. Prices are reasonable enough.
Had a delicious Coconut Cinnamon Apple latte to accompany me on my stroll down south bank.
Excellent service and delightful coffee Staff work hard and smile often Their company should value them dearly
Thered be no excuse for being less than great in this iconic location. Fortunately, reliably great coffee and friendly service are a given here. Nice!
Best coffee in the area. Sometimes a little wait because its so popular but worth it.
Very cozy and quiet. Good capuccino.
Good coffee at small expresso bar at national theatre. Seats outside to watch river and South bank.
Long wait but really good coffee
Best coffee on the south bank and reasonable!
Very nice, cozy place with sofas to relax with a group of friends. Wide beer selection. Great service, friendly bartenders who were happy to give us advice on drinks.
Really good coffee. A little cramped inside but worth trying
Very tasty coffee here, note:as standard your coffees will come with a single shot
Decent coffee, while tad cramped inside it was alright
I asked for double espresso long and them refuse to do it because they sad the taste can be not good...next time just do it ,if your espresso it s good can be good as ristretto and long!
Lovely place to stop for a coffee and a treat! It’s great that the place caters for vegans too - I had an oat milk cappuccino and a vegan pumpkin muffin which was delicious. What a great find on a chilly, autumn afternoon. I’ll be back for sure!
Lovely cappuccinos! Very nice place to have a little chat with your friends or simple relax in the big city.
The best espresso I had in the UK by far!
Great coffee, but they mixed up my order and didnt apologize.
Very nice place to stop and grab something to drink and eat. The coffee is very good and they also have snacks and cold sandwiches. The staff is very accommodating and very friendly. I totally recommend it.
Excellent coffee, quiet place outside of performance time, good service, value for money
great location on the Southbank.on a good day to enjoy a cup of coffee by the river is great.at the moment thougn there are building works next door.also the entrance is quite shabby.not sure if this is because of the building work.range of coffee and an.nice enough spot to rest up whilst walking along the Southbankas it is tight by the national theatre and BIG it is also a good place to meet friends.
Good place to have a meeting. (Jan 2018Coffee, tea available.
Good coffee, lovely staff, tasty (albeit a bit priceysnacks - recommend!
Don’t get the mocha. Pure coffee then an inch of chocolate. Friendly service but rubbish coffee
Had a really nice flat white here on a stroll along Southbank to Work. Was surprised as I was suspicious from the outside that it’d be any good. Happily wrong.
Pretty terrible, milky and tasteless cappuccino. Sorry!, but Im sure you can do better elsewhere.
Lovely spot on the river. Coffee was nice, not the best Ive had...but better than most big brand places.
Consistently lovely coffee, and always nice staff. Then take your coffee and cake and relax in the NT and enjoy the aircon and the free wifi.
Lately, because of the studying marathon, I have been trying to find public spots with a bit noise around me to study. I came here before, but could not stay more. It is a bit dark place and so much indoor. The table lights are amazing tho. If you want to focus on your studies and if you do not want to be bothered by too much light, it is the best. Tables are large. But it is a bit crowded. You might need to share your table with at most 7 more people. There are limited pluggers but still it is available. The WIFI is pretty fast and good. No connection problem whatsoever. Lets talk about coffee. FLAT WHITE! Awesome. Not too strong not too light. But havent tired anything else yet. Like this coffee a lot.
Great and relatively unknown espresso bar. The britalist architecture of the national theatre adds something to the excellent coffee brewed up by the friendly staff.
Great little espresso bar with a small selection of eats inside the NT complex
Yummy coffee and friendly staff - a great place to get your morning brew!
