Cool
Short visit, but certainly worth seeing.
It a fun and interesting place to be! 👍🏾
Very interesting artifacts at the museum, some dating back to the 12th century. Would have preferred if the museum had English descriptions in addition to the French.Photos are not allowed indoors.

It is green within the desert area.
National museum of Bamako. Really interesting. Good place for weekends and free time. We can enjoy the Mali culture through this museum. Some of their historical and cultural institutions are made by them there for a show. Example the old mosque like that. They will not works on Mondays
Very nice cleaned place. Nice nature with beautiful gardens
I love this museum but unfortunately we cannot take a picture inside the building or room. Only from the outside.
Super tranquil space!🌟
Easily accessible and close to other sites like zoo. Guided tours are offered at 3000 CFA for foreigners.
Be nice! National museum
It is a very nice place to enjoy some nice malian history journey
Lovers of history will benefit lots. And those wanting to know about earlier generation of Mali people
Nice place to visit combine it with adjacent national park. Some beautiful masks and statues. Great outing for a Sunday morning.
Very sweet place
Small but covers a lot of Malian history; I think they would help themselves by posting signs in English as well as French. Some of the displays were set back too far, and you could not read their accompanying signs in any language!
National Museum Park du mali situated in Bamako capital. It is very green and landscape. Many pizzerias in side the Park. For time spent on weekends is best location.
Great place in bamako. Beautiful gardens
A true explanation of the countrys archeological sites, initiation cultures and textile culture. Only 2/3 big halls but well thought/planned. Not too much info, just what you need. The explanations are all written in a beautiful French. The staff seems detached but they are actually nice and available for some explanation too.
Not a big museum... There are reserve collections of Archaeology, Textiles and wood carvings. All information is in French only.
People dont speak English and all the writings are in French
The history of Mali is legendary!
Interesting place. Restaurant and bookstore near by. Good security
Clean and green park at Bamako. A perfect place to hangout with friends and families for a weekend. Opens till late and ample of restaurants to eat and drink if hungry.
Its a great start to explore National Park and Museum in Bamako, a lot of adventure and historical facts. In the zoo, it covers 90% of worlds wild animals.
We can not visit to northern Mali,Dejenne or Toubouctou. If you want to feel them, why don’t you visit to National museum in Bamako.
Love this place so much
A very interesting museum of national culture. One section is about archeology, one about culture and one about textile.
One of the best museums of its kind on the continent. Provides an excellent overview of the ethnographic and cultural history of Mali. Unlike museums where everything is thrown together haphazardly, items are well presented in a way that reflects their value and importance.Outstanding textile collection.Museum restaurant is called "African Grill". Dont be fooled by the name, it isnt a grill, but it does offer a good place to have lunch, for a reasonable price. If you enjoy the food, theres a second African Grill in town.
♡♥♡♥
A good place for the whole family
You must come here!!! Very interesting masks collection and very nice gardens with all the historical buildings of Mali!
