Bereketzade Mh., Galata Kulesi Sk. No:8, 34421 Beyoğlu/İstanbul, Turkey, Karamürsel
Old-school, 120-seat venue serving up international jazz acts, along with cocktails & snacks.
Such an amazing place with very warm atmosphere and nice music. If you need a piece of really good jazz, Nardis is the best for you in Istanbul.
We had lots of fun in this place, cozy, great music, had a wonderful night with my girlfriend there, definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a good date night in Galata area
If you enjoy listening to jazz while the employees and people in the crowd interrupt by having loud conversations then this is just the place for you.
Best jazz club in the town⭐️
Another great Jazz club in Istanbul! This place is not far from the busy Galata tower area and has live music every night. Check their website for the line up and book a ticket in advance to enjoy some amazing music here.
It was a fun night with helpful staff always around. Nice atmosphere ❤️ the band was great, the saxophone player was particularly good 👍🏼
Good spot to enjoy jazz and have some drinks, make sure to buy your ticket in advance through their website and get there early to pick a good table near the stage.A night well spent 👌
Crowded popular local jazz venue. Be early or book online. Great atmosphere. There is a mezzanine floor as well.
Amazing place stashed away among the busy streets near Galata Tower, live performances every night with very good snacks and drink options at great prices. A must for any jazz enthusiasts visiting Istanbul!
Fantastic place! Good music good service. Allways good vibes 👍 can only recommend big time. Dont miss this.
Cosy Jazz bar worth the visit for live music. Their cocktails are made with love and the acoustic of the venue is fine. Hats off to musicians and singers who work hard to bring joy to music lovers. A real gem found in Istanbul!
Drinks were great, music was better. It was a nice intimate space.
Great experience. Cemres quartet was faboulous! Good wine too. Place is a bit crammy but works. They lose one star because of the kitchen. Avoid salad at all costs. It wasnt even washed, all crunchy because of the soil and sand on green leaves.
Little jazz gem in Istanbul! Had a great time. I even ended up buying a record from the performers. The staff were super friendly and awesome too. The cover (20$is a bit expensive for Istanbul but I guess given where the performers come from it makes sense. Great experience for sure.
TIP- You need to make a reservation in advance to secure your spot!Music: Personally, I think its worth a visit to experience the jazz world of Istanbul. With that said-the musicians synergy for that night wasnt as great as expected. 🥲Drinks: Order bottled beer. 😬 I wouldnt order any cocktails or whisky- the drinks were very diluted and tasted watery.
Cozy, well set up jazz club. I enjoyed the experience and the band just kept playing beyond the required time. Very generous.
One of great place in Galata. You can check program before you came they have many of different band came to play there.
An enthralling evening spent with groups of highly gifted and talented musicians. Good to see young musicians making their mark and performing with sensitivity, elegance and grace. This has been an unforgettable first evening in Istanbul.
Great place with good music options every day! Just want more non alcoholic mocktails on the menu.
The place is really nice, a thing you must do if youre visiting Istanbul and have some time to enjoy the evening, if you love jazz music of course. The music is really beautiful and the band is good. You have to book your table before you go there otherwise you have to sit on the bar. The place is too small and crowded, most of the people sitting there are tourists. Food and drinks are okay.
Good music, drinks, atmosphere! We had a great night at Nardis. Good service, ok prices, we will return!
🎸
We loved the place ... its really coolAlot of energy & good music
Nardis Jazz Club is a small bar with live music. It locates near the Galata Tower in Istanbul. I went there on a Saturday night. The entry fee was $10. The door opened at 8:30 pm. The show started at 9:30 pm. The place was packed quickly. There was a 30 minutes break after an hour of performance. There was supposed another 1 hour performance after the break. I left during the break as more people pouring in. This place was just too crowded and became uncomfortable. The music would be better without the female signer. The owner should not let so many people jammed inside such a small space. I would not go back.
May be the oldest jazz club in town. Owned by a lovely couple. One of them still plays on the stage :We enjoyed the place and the live jazz music so much.
Fine jazz club, close to the Galata tower. Concerts almost everyday. You can sit either close to the small cozy podium, or in the balcony. Staff serves quietly, which is nice when youre listening to music. Make sure to check their schedule on the website, and make a reservation.
We had a wonderful time here. It is a bit pricey compared to other things to do but well worth it. Emailed for reservations and enjoyed a night of jazz and a bottle of Turkish wine.
Wow! the band was extraordinary. Love it. If you love jazz and happened to be in Istanbul, you should visit the place. Highly recommended. Music and atmosphere it is all you need it....
The venue is nice - cosy Id say, not very big. The jazz is usually high quality and creates a unique atmosphere. I highly recommend the place. IMPORTANT: get there early to get the max out of your tickets. We got there slightly late and we were stuck at the back (couldnt really see anything). Thats why I give it 4 stars. Otherwise, really good jazz venue.
Excellent jazz club, great vibe. Recommend biking online in advance and getting there a bit earlier for drinks, nibbles. Excellent location around corner from Galata Tower entrance.
Visited this lovely cozy place in the heart of Istanbul. My very first experience to listen Jazz Music Live am glad it was at this unique warm club. If you are in town and would like to casually listen to some good jazz music from Turkish artists, well this is the spot. Food and drinks available!
Really friendly easy jazz bar with small but good quality food menu and extensive drink list. Jazz bands perform each night and easy to book online. If not in advance, suggest to get there early (open 830; performance starts 930 each nightto ensure a seat. Really relaxed and chill evening. Thoroughly enjoyed.
there is no need to say much about this monumental jazz altar. approximately every night a gig is performed in this beautiful place. you can easily buy a ticket online and go there and chill yourself with some beautiful notes coming from a trompets through to your ear. to sum up, if you love music not a single jazz genre but the rest too, you should visit nardis, by the way nardis name comes from a bill evans song
Lovely atmosphere, cosy place, nice service, fantastic music… feels like a slice of heaven in the middle of a busy city.
The ambiance and music were wonderful, we had a blast! The band was super fun to listen to and we had front row seats which was awesome 😁 come early to pick a table and buy your tickets early on their website. The spot is really awesome for a night out in Istanbul! Food is also delicious, we had the 2 plates of mini burgers to share.
Awesome atmosphere, great bands and a great bar. I will come again and recommend it to everyone!
We stopped by this place randomly because it was raining outside and we loved it and stayed three hours until it closed. Very nice atmosphere, a great musician playing and a nice place to relax and have a cocktail or wine.
Wonderful cosy place with good music and music lovers. Enjoyed everything.
Countless nights of fun and swinging music..Live performances every night except Sundays, fully stacked bar & excellent ventilation and air conditioning...
World class performance by the jazz band. The lady singer really has voice as smooth as silk. Great place to relax and unwind at the end of the day.
We are very lucky for having such a nice jazz bar in Istanbul. This was my first visit to the place and I am really impressed with the atmosphere. It is located very close to Galata Tower, inside is small but super cute, looks like jazz clubs we see in the old movies.Uraz Kivaner trio performance was amazing. We enjoyed every single second of it. Frankly, I was expecting something good but not that great. I will keep following and watching their performances.Regarding the prices, I think they are reasonable but imbalanced. Paying 60 TL for entrance is understandable since they are offering good quality live performance. Snacks, beer and soft drink prices are moderate. However, cocktails and spirits are very expensive. This pricing policy is pushing people to choose beer instead of cocktails, vodka or whiskey. It is resulting less choice for customers and less revenue for the club. I would recommend them to decrease the cocktail prices a bit to encourage people drink more premium beverages. As final words, we really enjoyed our evening at the club. Hopefully, we will visit again as soon as possible. I would recommend any jazz lover to go and enjoy high quality live performances in a cute, cozy club.
Nice cosy venue with bar and good acoustics. Not much Trad jazz on the itinerary but enjoyable performance at reasonable prices - 60TL each ticket when booked online
Fantastic Club, great music, very friendly crew, tasty cocktails and beer and no smoking!
Amazing place! Great musicBut you have to go a little bit early, in order to find a table with a good viewP.s the place is kinda small
One of the best places in Istanbul for good jazz music and drinks. A bit expensive but totally worth going. Just a heads up, there is a charge to enter since this place has live music. No reservations so if you want to have a sit, come in a bit early.
A great Jazz club. I really enjoyed the performance I experienced. Istanbul is lucky to have a healthy jazz venue while venues in other countries are declining. Nardis book good talent that is scheduled almost daily. Drinks and food are reasonable priced, as well as the cover charge. If you arrive last, you may need to wait to get in.
Honestly, this place not worth to even visit, entry fees 50 Turkish lira, music not that special at all and top of this need to be silent when they performing the cheap music, chairs so bad hurting your butt, place so small and tight, no air conditioning in bloody July and you could imagine the place. If you don’t believe what I say go yourself and regret ever lira you spent, oh over priced overall. Enjoy !!!
Amazing talented young people play great jazz. Very cozy. A must-visit place. Book in advance via email. Such an experience!
Heard Dolunay Obruk this evening. Simply brilliant. Guy on the piano had magic fingers. So glad that we came here on our wedding anniversary. Jazz club with very good setting. Little pricey for Istanbul standards but hey awesome music makes up for it.
This is amazing Jazz club , and the singer was fabulous... the band as well .. food is average but who cares you dont go there to eat anyway .
