Naran Hotell - in Lulea, Sweden
Naran Hotell in Lulea
Description
Absolutely ok! Nothing wrong with it and a fair price!
Good option for a single night. Room was small but had a bathroom and shower. The bed was fantastic.
MoreThe location is very convenient right in the city center and close to the train station. Also, the rooms (once you get a made oneare rather modern and large. However, the check-in procedure is difficult since the receptionist is in another hotel, and one has to call them. I dont know what happens if someone does not have the possibility to call a Swedish number...After arrival, I got a room which wasnt ready. I had to call them again and again to get a new room. Hence, the check-in took almost half an hour. I didnt get any excuse for the waiting time. The guest kitchen is a great feature but the oven didnt work. There was no sign that it doesnt work. Unfortunately, I wanted to prepare my dinner in the oven and just found out that the oven doesnt work after buying the dinner. I couldnt finish it then and had to throw it away. Again, no excuse or help from the receptionist.Luckily, the very rich and delicious breakfast made up for some of the trouble (on the other side the take away breakfast, which the person staying with me got, is very poor). However, I never received a reply to the email stating all the issues. Hence, one can conclude that service does not exist at this hotel.
MoreThere is no staff at the reception and the door is closed. The business runs two hotels, but with only one staff, so we had to wait on the street in the cold and wait 20 minutes for someone to open the door at check-in. Luckily a guest came out of the hotel so we could get in, but the staff was still nowhere. We had to call him twice to come. After check-in we arrived at the dirty room where the bedding had the previous guests hair ...Cold in the room, no toilet paper.Breakfast is served at the other hotel called Amber. The breakfast is okay but the tables are dirty. The room was full in the morning with guests, so we had to wait for a free table. In this hotel you can not sit anywhere while waiting for a vacant table. It is not so good to have two hotels guests for breakfast in such a small place. There was no mug for coffee, the cutlery was dirty.A waiter ran to pick up the plates and refill the tables with breakfast. I feel sorry for her....In the check-in time nobody is on the reception in none of the two hotelsVery illusion-destroying service for so much money ... :(I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.
MoreMy experience with this hotell was very bad. I sayed there for 2 months, we asked meny times for room cleaning, they only cleaned the sink. Floors were always dusty and cleaning lady didnt care at all. Most undescribable was the kichen, it was so diry and bad, that i even get goosebumps only by thinking about it. For cople of weeks there was some homseless guy sleeping in the lobby, who smelled. Most of the time there were some drunk old construction workers, who even someked indoors and left cigarette buds in the sink. Oven was broken and they didnt fix it in 2 months. I dont ever suggsest this place to anybody. I could go on and on about thing that were worng with this hotell, but i leave something for suprise, for the people who decide to sleep in this, dirty crachouse. I think most of the problems can be fixed, if the hotell managment whould care a little and take action...
MoreClean, tidy modern hotel, with great staff.Breakfast was unavailable during our stay (an unfortunate result of Covid), and the restaurant appeared closed. Town is very close by though, with plenty of choice. The only issue we had may be a cultural one: no net curtains in the room, so its possible for passers-by to see into your room during the day.Would stay again though.
