Namphake Buddhist Monastery - Buddhist temple in Nahorkatiya, India
Very peaceful place full of positive energy. No matter how disturbed your mind was, once you are here you will be relaxed for sure. Full of positive vibes. The respected monk is very approachable and if you want you can share your problems etc, to get really effective suggestions. They also provide medicines for health related problems. The medicinal tea they offer during our visit was helpful enough to get relaxed. The riverside view makes this place even beautiful.Wish to visit this place again.

I went there from Dibrugarh by partially using public transport. From Phulbagan in Dibrugarh, I took a shared Tata Winger to Naharkatia. The journey took 2 hours and the fare is ₹100. From Naharkatia I took an e-auto to Namphake. I paid ₹150 each way. I asked the auto to wait for me in Namphake. You dont get auto-rickshaws in the village.
It is a small monastery situated at Namphake village, Dhuliajan. It is a remote place. Nothing in and around much but beautifully located amidst nature
