Namaste Indian restaurant - Restaurant in Krabi, Thailand
The best vegetarian food in krabi, hands down. The spices and the taste is perfect. The owner is a very helpful. If you are a vegetarian looking for a good spot to eat some good food, this is your stop
The food was worth the price. I tried north indian thali and the quantity and taste was good with good variety :)
Excellent place for Indian food. We tried their chicken and veg thali and all dishes were very good. Must try if youre missing Indian food in Krabi.
- the pasta we ordered first had cauliflower and milk as sauce in it. the pasta was uncooked and we ultimately had to return and cancel it.- mix vegetable curry had uncooked vegetables as well with some gravy.- kadai paneer was good in taste but had a lot of oil. a lot.everything was made in haste and not worth the price quoted in the menu. we decided to finish the food and leave
i am writing this review while sitting in the hotel. The food is horrible to say atleast. There was so much oil in food that it had layered up all the cutlery. Atleast he didnot charge for the horrible pasta that he gave.If there were zero stars I would take that option.
- butter roti is good- better to avoid paneer kadhai, there was more oil than paneer in the sabzi- we had to return the pasta that we ordered, there was cauliflower in the pasta 😷- pizza was just ok, had promised to put brocolli in the pizza which was missing- the vegetable sabzi was just run of the millThere are many other restaurants in the lane and this can be totally avoided.
Worst restaurant with very erogant staff... Very dirty, horrible and disaster place and low quality food... I ordered vegetable biryani and they served simple Masala rice... Same as i order alu Paratha and i got burnt naan... Even worse, i had diarrhoea and severe intestinal infection ... Whole trip was ruined by these cheaters... Request you Please Dont go... There are many good other options...
Wow place nice food nice staff with good environment
A very good experiences, the foods are delicious and the manager was very polite, explains menus, instruction to eat in indian style and open for suggestions.Anyway, I like try new ways, still eating by using my own hands are very enjoyable moments! The foods are very affordable when order the buffet set, only 270 baht. Highly recommended.Next time, I dropped by. Wanted to try the traditional way and take nice photos/videos for good memories.ขอบคุณมากครับ Mr.Suresh และคุณ Shashank 🙏
YUMM YUMM YUMMWhat a great quality and taste, super goodEk baar nahi baar baar NAMASTE INDIAN ka Khao.Food at very reasonable priceA BIG THUMBS UP FOR THIS RESTAURANT
Indian food is good. One can also try Thai food.
Perfect place for a nice evening with good food. You can choose from local and Indian food presented by friendly staff.
Very nice India menu, food is delicious. As an Indian we eat big portion sizes yet I can tell you their serving size is good. I tasted prawns biriyani, chicken biriyani and egg biriyani and all of them were really different in taste and very flavourful.
When you are in Krabi and crave for Typical Indian cuisine then you must go to Namaste Indian Restaurant . I had a tasty vegetarian food last night.
Nice and authentic place. Owner welcomes you and explained the menu. He is very friendly. Food was great, especially for those who don’t eat very spicy.
So many people worked and there wasnt any coordination between them. I had hair in my sambhar that was fixed when I asked to replace. Food was ok not the best in town so I wouldnt have missed anything much.
Workers were there to get their job done. No initiative to suggest alternatives to food whatsoever. Food was average. Atmosphere average. Portion sizes small. Wouldnt go back.
During the 6-day trip in Krabi, this was the worst meal my family had taken. Portion was small and Indian curry and Thai food were not authentic at all.
Bellow average food. It was very fatty which was surprise here in Thailand. Toilet was a disaster, water all over floor, I was trying not to die there in my slippers. I do not recommend. Service was good however.
Really awful food .. without any flavours or taste. They even passed a dish that was served and tasted at a wrong table right to the next one ..
Paid THB680 for 2 persons dinner because they didnt have a THB10 change. The lamb towa was tender and flavourful. Good to go with the nan. But the nan was hard and the mango juice tasted diluted. Service was friendly but price on the high side.
Awsum indian food with perfect north indian flavors, i definitely needed it, was tired of same hotel services and menu, thry serve varities of parathas even, n that too with in cheap prices, must visit fr indians who are willung to save some cost ...definitely thumbs up fr every item they provide.👌👌
Soooo delicious Indian food. I never had such yum Indian food in India as much I had here. Unlike others, you may find all kind of Indian dishes, vegetarian food, this place is all about good food ❤
Best food as compared to other restaurants nearbyVery cleanFast serciceNice ambienceTaste is best same as IndiaFood here made my dayOwner and staff very kind and humbleMAjority indians come here
Nice place. Value for money and north Indian food available. Western cuisine is not good. Good Indian food
Awesome Indian restaurant among Ao nang area. There are no discount as others give but then also he gave 10% on request. All in all good experience. will go once again
Tasty Indian food at reasonable prices. We found it on 2nd day staying at centara anda dhevi resort ( 400 m away). Restaurant staff and owners are very polite , loved the food here .They organised a buffet once ( a group of 20 people booked it and it was amazing food.We tried Dal tadka , mutter paneer , butter roti rice , salad , jeera aaloo , papad , raita , and kheer during our stay.We tried 2 different Indian restaurant before this one but liked it the most.I would recommend it to everyone.
For excellent Indian and Thai food in Krabi, look no further, this place is managed by an Indian from New Delhi, he is very polite and cooperative with the patrons which includes mostly Indians and Farangs... I would recommend the shrimps and Thai curries, the Chicken curry (Indianand the jeera rice.
We went after reading good reviews- but our experience was no less than pathetic- we had limited time to spend on evening snacks, however due to the unorganised service we ended up spending close to an hour and half on tea and snacks. The restaurant was full with all tables remaining unserved for an average of an hour - everyone complained for lack of service. Further, the attitude of the staff (and ownermade things worse.
I was hesitant to try the place because of the bad reviews. I dont know what everyones problem is... We loved it! We dont get food authentic Indian good in Australia but this reminded us of what food in India tastes like. We ordered vegetarian samosas and vegetarian paneer curries and they were great. The staff came by to ask if the food was good and they were friendly enough. If you order the Indian food youll enjoy it.
Walked out after sitting for about 10 minutes without anyone asking if we wanted drinks. Staff seemed hesitant to even seat us. They seemed quite rude and off-putting so we just left. Can’t comment on the quality of the food.
Really good food I enjoyed the taste of Indian food I prefer to all tourist if u will go in krabi so go in this restaurant....good staff good food quick service
Portions may be small but I think it is because of the quality of the ingredients. My favourite is the cashew chicken with cashews. It is a one serving man portion with no rice. Staff is freindly and may have trouble understanding your order if English is Your primary language. But the will deliver a very delightful meal
The food was alright. Service was terrible, they just left it on the table so we had to distribute and forgot to bring some. We had asked for a seperate bill but we got a joint, their excuse was that it was busy but I would say unorgonized. However, we got a ten percent discount and the staff was friendly.
Excellent for indian food. Friendly and honest staff
Good ambience and good indian food and also not very expensive 👍
Very nice Indian food. Host is very good - he personally checks with all the folks if they like the food
Great food , the best tom yam in Krabi. Can get good masala tea for the Indian tourist this is a good place to try Thai for the first time as they understand your taste and will comply with all requests. The language is not a problem as they speak good English, Thai and Hindi as wellIf you are craving for some Indian snacks in the afternoon then this is the place to be.
Few good restaurants near ao nang area and serves every dish am indian can ask for and that too indian taste ...being run by few bihari brothers they make the lunch/dinner awesome....opens at around 11 am and serves till midnight ...even their thai recipies are indianised taste 😃.. they also can help in local sightseeing with their knowledge of the place and local tips..
The food is not good compare to other Indian restaurant available there, such as TAJ , king , moti mehal. The behavior of the staff is annoying and they have no sense , they do not know how to talk with guests.
Awesome food! Its a savior for people who dont like foods apart from Indian.. The service is good. And.. Dont miss the Chicken biryani..!!!
worst mix vegatian and non vegitaiansuar aur gay ke maans ko mashroom batata haiissi ganda khana shad krabi me nahi ho saktai also see reviws about costcost is very person to person but vegitarian cant compromise with meat chikenn
Had dinner last night. The location is on the road, cornered open restaurant, hence full of air. Few mins walk from the beach. Nice menu options especially Indian. Food was also very good. Must visit for every Indian tourist. Indian music, hindi speaking owner. Will visit there again for sure.Edit, we went there nearly 4-5 times since the cost and food taste was amazing comparing to other Indian restaurants.
The Indian food is pretty darn good here, decent Nan. The prices are alright too. However, I should have seen this coming but I ordered the pizza anyways.... Not very good.
Very rare place in krabi to find decent indian food. This place serves the purpose. Good taste, average service, average seating, good location, pricing i would say is ok as other indian restaurants charge much higher.
Save yourself. Just keep looking we made terrible mistake and are here we way overpaid and the food was the worst we had and very small portion. Every other restaurant is less expensive and better quality.
Nice food but was expensive for the size of the portions. We opted for thai food as for some reason the Indian food was almost double the price
This is one of best Indian restaurant in Krabi however, ambience is not upto mark. Service is not even so significant. Thai food is awful but Indian dishes are delicious undoubtedly.
Disappointed..mango lassi was warm....chicken beryani was just rise with tomato and chilly...and piece of Cole found on the naan......way too expensive...
Wouldnt have expected it but this was a quality Indian restaurant with tasty food. So much we went back a second time. The prices were even better than most places around and they also advertised deals for drinks. My wife is Indian and also gave this place two thumbs up.
