Excellent service by Mr. Devaraj and his team. Food was also really good. Me. Devaraj made us comfortable, welcomed and feel at home. Nice little conversation till the food arrived.Chicken tikka was fantastic, so was the channa masala.While ordering tell them about your spice level preferences. Excellent taste, just that the masala was too spicy as we had asked for Indian level spiciness.

Its nice ambience, good authentic Indian food with right people running it.

My husband and I came to namaste on our last night of our trip to Croatia. After over a week of eating traditional Croatian food, we missed the aromas and spices of Indian cuisine. Namaste met and exceeded all expectations. We started off with mango lassis and masala chai which are an absolute must. The mango lassi was so well balanced from the sweetness of the mango and the tartness of yogurt. The masala chai was served traditional in a steel kettle alongside a small clay cup. The chai was spiced and sweet and was perfect on a cold Zagreb night. For dinner we got the butter chicken, vegetable biryani, masala dosa, and garlic naan. The masala dosa was perfectly crisp and served along side the most delicious sambar and coconut chutney. The butter chicken was creamy and flavorful. It was rich but made you want to keep eating it. The biryani was divine as well! You can tell the quality of the ingredients are top notch. It came with raita and a fresh papad. The garlic naan was plentiful and delicious. The portions were very generous but the food is so tasty you will not want to stop eating. Last but not least, the staff at Namaste is truly incredible. Everyone is professional, courteous, generous and kind. We had an amazing meal on our last night of our vacation and we will surly be back the next time we visit!

Wonderful interior with a nice view and spatious; good food (tried salmon tikka). Very nice for a change, since Indian reataurants are rare in Zagreb.

South Indian food with rich and authentic flavour

We had dinner at Namaste and it was so good. The service, the food, everything as it should be in every restaurant. Try it. You will not regret it.

The food is very authentic and tastes good. Take it from an Indian who cooks and enjoys Indian food. The location may be tucked in a corner and the elevator on left before the building entrance is not recognizable but all this is just a small adventure just like in India.The south Indian dishes are great and try their dry fruit Rabdee for dessert.

Delicious food, clean restaurant and Vijesh provided excellent customer service. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

One of the best Indian restaurant in Zagreb!!We tired Masala dose.. it was really tasty and yummy 😋 served with sambar and coconut chutney, Sambar was really tasty and chutney was really tasty too!Later we tried panner butter masala and tandoori rotis, curry was really tasty and delicious 😋 and rotis were good too.If you are in Zagreb and want to try Indian dishes this is the place you look for.Ambiance was good and service was really good, friendly staff. Vijesh served us really good.Highly recommend and must visit.

After 1 week trying all croatian food we want to taste some good indian food while returning back. The food from Namaste is perfect ending for our trip. The food was very authentic and the best indian food I ever tasted in europe. The staff are polite and the owner is very friendly, pleasent. The ambience is good and the service is top class. Highly recommend to visit this restaurant.

A little bit out of town, but worth the journey. Different from the bistro option in the city centre this one has a huge menu, with many south and north indian dishes, many vegetarian options. I had the dosa and the lamb biryani and it was so tasty and flavourful! The service is very friendly, helpful and the food is served quick.

The food is unique. The flavors give a special pleasure, the interior is beautifully decorated and the background music gives a special ambience. The staff is polite, everyone is smiling and positive! The prices are affordable and we will definitely come again when we arrive in Zagreb 🌷

The food was great here ! We enjoyed our time and the food reminded us of the indian flavors that we hardly got in Europe! The hosts were especially kind to us and we were very thankful for that. Overall great restaurant and I recommend this to everyone who wants to eat Indian cuisine in Zagreb.

I have never been to better indian restaurant!!! It was full of flavour and real spices. The staff were also really nice. First time in my life i felt good after eating indian food, coz all was fresh! Really recommend visiting this place, u will not forget it.

Portions are very small and there is not enough indian spices in the food. I ordered Butter chicken for 95 kunas and got a very small portion and four small pieces of chicken meat so overall very dissapointing. Won’t come here again ever! I prefer Royal India restourant more than this place.

Remarkable Indian restaurant in Zagreb.Based on several visits, I would say the food is of a very high quality and extremely tasty, while very true to the Indian cuisine. I found both meat and vegetarian dishes very good and will certainly try out new dishes.The staff is very friendly and open to questions as well as giving explanations and descriptions of different menu offers.The interior is very open yet gives a peaceful and private enough atmosphere.Definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.

This restaurant is really the best Indian restaurant in Zagreb. Their food is some of the best I’ve tasted. The staff is very friendly and professional. I really liked the decoration of the restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant is calm. Beautiful music suitable for the place is played. On New Years Eve we had a misunderstanding about the reservation and the owners resolved it professionally. So all praise to the owners because there are not many restaurants in Zagreb, let alone in Croatia that would do so. We will definitely go back to the restaurant and recommend it to others.

Would really recommend this restaurant for good Indian tasty food.We ate more than our appetite as we really liked it.😃Very few places have good authentic south Indian taste, this restaurant has both, good north and south Indian dishes.

If you have to take an uber for 100 Kn to visit this place, it would still be worth it. We ordered paneer tikka appetiser and uttapam, masala dosa with tea and it was beyond our expectations. Automatic taste. Amazing food.

I feel like it was worth the experience to try different types of cuisine although Im quite familiar with Indian food. I just wish the price is cheaper and perhaps with a lot of free space they can do something with it to attract more customers! All aside, everything was great.

Its a bit of a long wait but the food is very good and the prices are quite OK. Their vegetarian food is so good that I could actually become a vegetarian eating Indian food. Portions are large.

My wife and I had such a wonderful experience here. From the food to the service, and atmosphere.The chicken Biriyani is delicious, packed with spices & generous portions.Dal Gosh is also fantastic, the mutton is tender, juicy, and so satisfying to eat with the garlic nan and the biriyani.Masala tea is something you must try, the perfect match for the meal. I could drink a jug of it. And if you still have some more space in your tummy, get the mango lassi. So refreshing!Glad we came to this place. Really out of our expectation. We tried so many Indian food in different countries, can’t believe so far is the best.

Tasty food, and the service is very good. The staff speaks mostly English, there are no Croatian workers here :)The menu is a bit overpriced, though. There are other Indian restaurants which offer a wider menu with more economic prices.

South Indian dishes are a rare find in Europe. So if I come to know of a place that serves it, I have to try it out.So we found this bistro with a menu to our delight.Our orders:1.Masala Dosa: served with sambhar and chutneyDosa was very tasty. Sambhar was OK. Could have been a little stronger. I was missing the authentic aroma of sambhar.Chutney was excellent.2. Uttapam: Served with chutney and veg korma. All good here.3. Keema pav: keema is of chicken. Pav is not the bombay pav. But circular breads (imagine cheese garlic bread).Taste was good 👍Total bill: Around 130 KunaOverall: satisfactory

Underwhelming. We ordered one vegetarian dish and one with cooked lamb (21 and 27 in the picture). The meat was tender and everything looked delicious, but the taste didnt match.Both of the servings were bland. We felt no taste, almost undiscernable seasoning (I didnt have covid, its just bad). Its as if they dont use seasoning or salt at all.Also tried the starters (pancakes): those were somewhat better. 12 would recommend, but considering the overall experience, and the insane prices, wont go here again.

Its one of the best place to eat in Zagreb. Kinda far from center but really well connected with public transport. The place is really huge and the people are so kind and nice. Talking about food, its not only the best Indian restaurant but also one of the best place to have lunch or dinner. I would highly recommend to visit this place, I am here often now. You wont be disappointed with the food and ambiance. Not to forget, Only place in Zagreb to have south Indian food also. Dosa and sambar was really tasty. You can even try some Indian desserts and Indian Mocktails. Both Vegetarian and Non-Veg food is tasty.

I have to admit I had high hopes for this place considering that the entire staff are from India.We have ordered number of dishes to try, some of which were vegetarian.The service was quick & friendly.The food however wasnt as good as usual Indian restaurants (outside Croatia), vegetarian dishes were the least quality, some of the main traditional dishes werent on the menu, Nan bread was good, overall its OK food but fell short of their original counterparts.If you havent tried Indian cuisine before, I think its worth it but saty away from the vegetarian dishes.

Incredibly pleasant service - we first got served by a very lovely waitress that guided us through the menu and greately helped us with our choices as well as checking out on us later on, and afterwards also by a pleasant waiter and the owner himself as well.The food is very unique - maybe not something to eat every day, but certainly an interesting experience to have! We also asked them not to make the food too spicy and it really wasnt, so no need to worry in case that is an issue for you.While the building itself is rather depressing, the interior is quite lovely and looks quite clean and luxurious. Overall maybe a bit pricey, but not too far off from a standard restaurant and certainly worth the overall experience. Us five were all quite satisfied!

Namaste became my favourite restaurant after my first visit.Very tasty and gorgeous looking food flavored with Indian spices, professional staff and good restaurant atmosphere calls you to visit them again.Every course, from soup to dessert, is more than worth of their very moderate prices.See you again, Namaste!

The food was really great! I tried several dishes and enjoyed all of them, cooked carrot for desert was an amazing positive surprise. The service was excellent, they explained the dishes from the menu elaborate so it was like a mini Indian cuisine lecture. Definitely a place worth visiting :)

Great authentic Indian food with very good service. Best Indian experience in Zagreb so far. Also have Starpromen beer on draft which is a plus. Only reason I did not give a 5 star review is because air con was not working which made experience a bit uncomfortable.

Best possible Indian restaurant in Croatia! They even made customised food for the kids even though they didnt have the food the kids wanted in the menu. Heaven for both south Indian and north Indian food .
