"Hidden in plain sight" place.Very interesting option for Vegetarians like myself.The service is good, but the more crowded times might overwhelm staff.

This place seems to be cool but we had an unfortunately time there. We ordered two vegan burgers, but one came with cheese and egg. At first we were suspicious about the cheese but the waitress said for sure it was vegan. Only after a first bite we realized that was also egg in it. We felt really bad. Wouldn’t come back.

Hace años que conozco este lugar y poquito a poco se fue convirtiendo en mi templo a la hora de la cena, cada vez que estoy de paso en Montevideo. Todo el que coma en base a plantas debería conocerlo. Y los curiosos tambièn. No se van a defraudar. Todo es 10 puntos. La comida, la atención de todo el personal, las instalaciones, la música, etc.

Me gustó la comida, la atención , el lugar, la decoración . Es un sustrato de otro país al nuestro. Tienes un espacio para comer donde entras descalzo, está ambientado para ello. Y otros salones todos decorados con elementos hindúes diversos. Cálido , tranquilo, reservado. La comida bien presentada , buenos sabores, precios medios para arriba, acorde al servicio

Excelente atencion, muy bueno el chivito vegano y el tiramisu, sin hablar del lugar, los diseños, las luces y el comer sin zapatos toda una experiencia

Love the place. My first dinner with one of my colleague in this company. And it was very pleasant. They offer two kinds of dinner table, the regular table chair and also Indian/Japanese style: you can sit down and have a bit raised table for dining.Food served was also very well presented.And they also gave a quick input on the mushroom sause they added on French fries, which is interesting.

Divino lugar, la música, el ambiente, la decoración. Muy rica comida y atención, no soy vegana ni vegetariana pero fui con mi hermana y mi cuñado que si lo son y estuvo buena la experiencia.

The food tasted good and the service was really nice.The reason I am giving it a 2 is because both me and my bf got a really bad food poisoning from it in which we had to cancel the trip we had planned on the following day.He had a chao mein and a lemonade, I had a doblado and green juice.I have a feeling the soy protein was the problem as it is something that requires some attention to be decently prepared.

Highly satisfying experience ⚘There is an increasing number of new vegan or vegetarian restaurants/shops in Montevideo and they are an asset to the otherwise meat and French fries oriented eateries.As a pleasant difference to many other vegan/vegetarian restaurants (often combined with shops), Namaste offers a great location, lovely decoration, high ceilings and refreshingly quite rooms in an otherwise noisy city.Juices/smoothies are fresh, main courses delicious, and Namaste even offers a small and exquisite beer and wine selection. We experienced the service as heartwarming and professional.My wife and I are not strict vegetarians and traveled to over hundred countries; Namaste is one of those places we can recommend with pleasure for lovers of delicious food and drinks.

Definitivamente un excelente lugar. Una ambientación hermosa, sobre todo para quienes amamos la cultura oriental. Excelente propuesta la de su sala Chill Out donde uno se sienta en almohadones en el piso (se entra descalzos). Una carta muy variada y con sabores exquisitos, todos ellos vegetarianos o veganos. Atención muy amable y cordial. Totalmente recomendable

Al llegar admiramos la escalera decorada que te va sumergiendo en el ambiente.Cuando ingresamos al local notamos la calidez de las muchachas que nos explicaron como era el sistema y las comidas del menú. (Primera vez que ibamos)Las galletas con semillas y pancitos + el hummus de garbanzos y morrón que te entregan mientras esperas la orden, una exquisitez.Recomiendo el chivito super (a un carnívoro le encantóy el batido de goji!Pasamos una velada hermosa, ambiente cálido, armonioso, la comida fue una exploción de sabores diferentes y la atención excelente. Sin dudas fue la mejor decisión.Aceptan Visa y los baños muy limpios.Volveremos 👏👏👏

Contentísima con el local.Buenísima atención por parte del personal desde que llegamos hasta que nos fuimos.El local es precioso, ambientado con muchas plantas y muebles rústicos, con música e iluminación agradables, verdaderamente es una experiencia. Cuenta con mesas tradicionales y un sector con mesas ratonas para sentarse en el suelo.¡La comida es riquísima y muy abundante! No te vas a quedar con hambre. Los precios se ajustan bien a la calidad y a la cantidad.Además, el local cuenta con todas las medidas sanitarias.Volvería totalmente, ¡me encantó el lugar!

It was terrible... Lasagna is really great. Try gramaho, chivito too. If you want to try veg options this place is awesome compare to other restaurants. Please give it a try.

El ambiente cálido, la música y la decoración te brindan mucha comodidad ☺️🥘La comida es una delicia, probé una lasaña de berenjena vegana que literal es la mejor lasaña que probé. Tiene mucho queso vegano, y llena bastante porque la porción es generosa!🍰 lemon pie: grande y delicioso! Sin dudas las porciones acá valen la pena.💲Los precios no son ni muy caros ni muy barato. Sale lo que vale. La lasaña la pague a $540 pero vale completamente la pena.♿️ No es accesible para sillas de rueda porque entras por escalera. Es pequeño pero así mismo el lugar es precioso. Tenes la opcion de pedir mesa con sillas o sentarte con sillones en el piso.🎂 Fuimos a festejar un cumple y nos dieron velita para cantar. El servicio y atención es ideal.Te quedas con ganas de volver!

Increíble la experiencia vivida en Namasté. Lugar único de gran atmósfera diferente a lo común. Muy acogedor y el servicio de atención es de una excelencia y amabilidad aseguradas. Platillos gustosos y muy bien logrados. Sin dudas un lugar para los que busquen nuevas experiencias.

A hidden gem in Montevideo for vegetarians and vegans. As a vegetarian/vegan couple it is hard to find good veggie restaurants in SA countries where the food industry is dominated by meat. We enjoyed the food and the good service. Also the desserts are very worth a visit!
