Thai street food, sushi, Asian specialties & cocktails served in a cool space with a Bangkok feel.
NaiYaRa in Miami Beach
Description
Privilege
If you go to Naiyara try their green curry, just one word to describe it, "WOW". I wanted it to never end. This was delicious. The place has a nice ambiance, it is good to take your significant other on a date or even with friends to drink some exotic drinks have a nice meal and just talk.Would come again and again.
MoreGreat ambiance, great service, and good food.We ordered the wagyu sliders, pad see ew, and pad Thai. The dumplings tasted amazing (probably best we ever had), but watch out because I definitely burned my mouth eating them. The pad see ew and pad Thai were fantastic, just very salty. Those dishes also don’t come with a protein, which is a rip off. I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant where the protein didn’t come with the noodles. Overall, good experience.
MoreI have a newly found LOVE and reason to visit Miami, NaiYaRa is it! Everything that my party and I ordered was fantastic. The staff and service were outstanding and the ambience impressive. We will be returning again, what a wonderful experience! 🤩❤️🤩❤️🤩
MoreGreat birthday dinner. We had really nice and fresh sushi roles, a great green curry with seabass and amazing skirt steak. If we go back to Miami, well visit them again.
MoreCame here for dinner with a couple girlfriends. Food is super overpriced. Service was just alright. The server asked for more tips “for the servers” on top of the included tip??? Was extremely awkward. Also, when I went to the bathroom I saw one of the workers walk out of the stall without washing her hands. Not coming back.
MoreGreat place with a good variety of food to choice from. Unique items on the menu. Had a great meal there during the boat show. Will go back there the next time we are in town.
MoreVery nice Thai/Japanese cuisine. Very good service. Valentina was a great server. Enjoyed the outdoor ambience.
MoreOk so the raw sushi was impressive. I mean truly impressive. The quality of the fish was paramount and all of our rolls were excellent. The only issue I had was with the lobster roll which I felt was left in the fryer for a bit too long which gave it a slightly burnt taste as well as overcooked the lobster, making it a little tough. I asked our server if they are usually this well done to which he quickly replied yes and walked away. I wasnt going to argue with him because the service was excellent and the staff was very attentive but Im still not entirely convinced thats how a $45 roll of sushi should look and taste. Despite this, I would return.
MoreThis time we tried NaiYaRa in Sunset Harbor, it is a Thai & Sushi restaurant, we went for Happy Hour which is from 5 to 7 pm every day, the menu has $7 drinks & bites. The HH menu is more concentrated on the Japanese food and that is what we tried, I know that HH is easier with those dishes but, it would have been nice if there were also some more traditional Thai dishes, I know, we can order those from the regular menu but, if you just wanted to have a bite size to try it out I think it would have been good to have it the HH menu too.The bartender Ciccio, really great guy, told us to go back on Thursdays on Ladies Night for free Margaritas 🎉🎉🎉 Oh yes ! we will 🎉🎉🎉So here is what we tried, the Veggie Spring Roll was great, Bok Choi Tempura, Ceviche of the Day also very good, Popcorn Shrimp and Half Roll Spicy Tuna, all with good Prosecco and to finish a Covid shot, yes that is what it is called 😉For sure we will go back on a Thursday for Ladies Night and to try out some Thai dishes too @naiyaramiamiFor more of my favorite restaurants, places and more, like my Facebook page Naddia’s Favorites or follow me on Instagram @naddias_favorites
MoreSimply the best experience ever. Each plate was a work of delicious art. Every bite was exquisite. You must experience as you will truly not be disappointed. #foodiebucketlist
MoreAbsolutely love this place since it first started! Their food is always on point and their happy hour is one of the best of Sunset Harbor. Frenchie, who manages the bar is beyonddd welcoming, loving, professional, sets up a dope vibe and creates excellent cocktails! Please make sure you stop by and experience the best Thai food in Miami Beach, FL!!
MoreWe have been to this restaurant a few times in the last year and noticed that prices have increased, but quality has decreased. For example, the pad Thai was soggy and lacking in flavor, while the shrimp was clearly frozen (and came in a paltry portion). The ribs used to be succulent, but this time were dry. Service was spotty. Either the restaurant was severely understaffed, or the waiters were inattentive. We had to wait a long time to order our food. Then we had to keep asking for water etc. We wish this restaurant would go back to a couple of years ago when it was still putting in the effort.
MoreOur sushi roll and curry were overpriced and mediocre. We felt conned into paying $7 for “still” water that tasted no different than tap. Headed for a second dinner as we are leaving hungry due to high prices and small portions.
MoreSuch a huge disappointment! We ordered 3 chicken dishes to share: Thai, fried rice and Udon noodles. The chicken in all came SO dry - not edible at all. It takes a talent to treat chicken breast like this. Forget about the fact that they run of beer....its not important. Not recommended at all, so bad..
MoreHad not been back in a while but definitely is not the same restaurant it used to be! Some items we ordered where good like the coconut soup but the baby back ribs seemed reheated, dried maybe from last week. My guts felt the pain for not having eaten fresh food…. We had a great time as we drank 2 bottles of champagne! On top of that the place was empty on a Thursday night at 8pm atmosphere was sad. Definitely not going back
MoreIt was nice to be back for dinner after few years; the place it even more beautiful and more expensive must say, however the food quality and service are always top!Must try: A5 Wagyu Tartare, Spring Rolls, NaiYaRa rolls and the one and only, the Skirt Steak!!! Service was efficient.Good thing they don’t have the super loud music anymore!
MoreI just wanted to try everything. The menu is split into Japanese and Thai sections.I had a warm duck salad and red curry. Both dishes came out fast. The salad was tasty. The sauce was perfect. The curry had an attractive flavor of coconut milk, and had a good portion of rice, meat, and beans. If you are looking for quality Asian dishes is the right spot.
MoreIt is a big space with a smooth ambience. And nothing is going to be cheap so it better be worth it. And it is! The white fish truffle is completely extraordinary - the flavor combination is dynamic and exquisite. The spring rolls were classy, but perhaps too raw inside. Popcorn shrimp was moreish- and yet there was actually too much. With half the portion you would have wanted more rather than less. The sea bass in red curry was excellent. Really light aromatic curry flavor - slightly let down by overcooking the sea bass. The house recommended wines were very good. And the service was knowledgeable, attentive but unobtrusive. Perfect. Tempted to dock a star for spelling Scotland with two tees - but a great evening so they were let off. Expensive though.
MoreDefinitely one of the best Thai food restaurants in Miami. Prices were not outrageous and service was really good! Food was delicious and beautiful presented. A real Miami vibe. Every item perfectly cooked. The sushi is probably the best in Miami. Out door seating available. I Miss Chef B
MoreSuper cute decor inside—but it was very dim lit so they had to adjust the lighting above our table. Came here for dinner Sunday night and it was noticeably fairly empty. For the hot appetizer, the Sticky Spare Ribs was tasty, well flavored and the portion was a lot! For entrees, we tried the Pad Thai with shrimp and the Massaman Curry with chicken—both good, I liked the curry dish better. The cocktails were okay, tried the D’Lychee and Eden Crush—they were pricey, $18 a drink. Overall, it seems a bit overpriced for some of the food & drinks here.
MoreAmazing experience that you wouldnt expect at first, but as soon as you walk in the atmosphere and service is A+. The food and drinks are quality as well! We will be back next time were in Miami 🙌
MoreGreat food and service, had sea bass in coconut milk broth excellent, great service...
MoreDropped in for dinner and we almost overlooked this place—so glad we didn’t! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful with what to choose to eat. I love colors. Presentation was on point and everything was so light and refreshing. Definitely not!
MoreAmazing food!! Loved the Pad See Ew with Beef, the sushi, and the Crispy Rice appetizer
MoreThis places will see you as nothing but a dollar sign to the business. I highly suggest you do not go with the recommendations from Pom. He will suggest only the highest priced item on the menu. He suggested our party of 4 to order the appetizer platter which goes for $55. He also suggested ordering the Nigeria prawn for the entree, also priced at $55. 🤪.We ordered drunken noodle and padthai, and for choice of protein, he said we can go for a combination (shrimp, steak, chickenand that blew the dish to a whooping $42 and $41, respectively. And BTW, a 18% gratuity is automatically added for a group of 4.The ambiance is not a place you would expect for an “upscale” restaurant. The food is way too salty.Would I go here again? Nope! Would I recommend? Never.
MoreThai food with class. This place is beautiful and the food is very tasty. The sushi’s and Nigiri are very good but I had more fun eating the white rice with the Thai sauce meals, the duck and the sea bass. You will not regret eating there, a bit pricey normal for Miami south beach
MoreNice ambiance and decor , music was a bit too loud to be able to have a nice conversation and the food was pretty mediocre by Thai standards but well presented
MoreI loved this place! The ambiance was so pretty and the service was fantastic. The food was beautifully presented and it was delicious. This restaurant is more expensive than places I normally frequent, however it was worth the price.
MoreDont know why this place doesnt have better scores - best red curry Ive had in US (Ive tried a few - love Thai foodwe didnt want duck so they changed menu for us. And everything else is awesome - like seriously awesome. Service needs a bit of cajoling maybe but we were very happy. 😊
MoreNothing upscale about this joint. Just overpriced mediocre food. Went there for dinner. The place was empty and now I know why....The $24 chicken pad Thai was greasy and all ingredients cooked that morning. The chicken was dry and tough. The raw fish was paper thin. Even the soda from the fountain was a miss. There was nothing elevated about this experience. Have had better Thai at the airport in Arkansas. Service was acceptable for south beach. Funny how they charge you 18% service like it or not. Good luck staying in business NaiYaRa
MoreThey don’t have an Omakase on the menu but created one for us and it was amazing. Delicious food and we left more than full. (The photos only show 3/7 courses)
MoreThe restaurant decor is absolutely beautiful. Love the Thai themes. We found it to be a it pricy. Food was good. My friend order the steak and it was really good. I would recommend it.
MoreThe food and ambience was top notch. I ordered the drunken udon noodle with shrimp and tuna pizza. I loved the flavors. Keep up the good work!
MoreFood was good, the Som Tun (papaya saladcould’ve been spicier but I can understand catering to an American palate. The sauce for the fried chicken dumplings was amazing!! Pad Thai was good as well. The only issue is that they allow dogs in the restaurant nothing more uncomfortable than having a dog shaking and scratching while trying to enjoy a meal. They should implement a dog section if they’re going to allow dogs as a courtesy to other diners. The service also wasn’t the best and they weren’t even busy it was a Tuesday night.
MoreOur server was quite pushy on some Portuguese (maybe Spanish?tuna belly tartare. We were a bit skeptical but it turned out to be one of the best seafood I’ve ever had. I don’t think it’s on the menu, rather it was some sort of daily special.
MoreThis restaurant is everything. My colleagues and I had an amazing time and also meeting the chef.We ordered a variety of foods - ALL were amazing!
MoreServer seemed to be rushing us and the restuarant was not near capacity. Pad Sew Eew was a bit sweet but the steak was well seasoned. The Specialty Cocktails are over priced and the Bangkok Bell was super sweet.
MoreBeautiful food served by smiling, friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was my husbands birthday and they made him feel really special, with sparklers and shots and songs! Perfect! We had the spring rolls and street dumplings following by Khao soi and massaman - I cant fault any of the food at all, the wine was delicious and our server was an absolute sweetheart. If we lived in Miami, this would be our regular place, 100% :)
MoreMUST GO DELISH...arrive on time this place gets packed! We were celebrating my best friends birthday and couldnt have been more pleased! All the credit to Sarah Percy who made the night EXTRA SPECIAL, she absolutely went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Chef came out and greeted us, and we raged on and on about the amazing food! Our favorite had to be the fish which I have added photo, as well as the blanched bok choy (order extra, its addictive).
MoreOutstanding toro with caviar. Very good edamame and chicken dumplings. Very pleasant atmosphere. Loud. Some pretty people. Minor issue on slow service but we seemed to be the exception on that. Overall very positive experience. Expensive.
MoreWonderful dining experience in Miami Beach! Everything about the experience was phenomenal. Delicious cocktails, amazing appetizers and an absolutely delicious main course. Service was very friendly and professional, able to squeeze us in without a reservation on a busy Friday night. Highly recommended!
MoreSat at the bar. Service, food, and drink were all amazing. The papaya salad comes with crunch shrimp which makes for a nice twist. Curries were large portions and delicious. If you like spice, order extra, heat is turned down for the American palate.
MoreHad this restaurant on my bucket list since moving to Miami Beach. The food was really great! We ordered the beef jerky and the lobster with fried rice. The food tasted delicious! The service was average, we waited quite some time for the server to make initial contact and take our drink order. The prices, in my opinion, were kind of high, even for the area.
MoreSuperb service meets a creative menu in prime location. This restaurant goes the extra mile beginning with the reservation experience, follow-ups, and seamless seating. I was specifically impressed when the hostess greeted me by name upon arrival and took the time to learn everyone in our party. Definitely an experience I was hoping wouldnt end!
MoreMy husband and I visited this restaurant for the first time. We love Thai food!! The food here was fresh, authentic, tasty, seasoned perfectly.....and the atmosphere was amazing!! Definitely will revisit this restaurant!!!
MoreDefinitely one of the best Thai food restaurants in Miami. Prices were not outrageous and service was really good! Food was delicious and beautiful presented.
MoreExcellent restaurant with a fantastic chef who’s an active member of the local community. NaiYaRa puts an Eastern twist to many western dishes, with a menu that varies through the day.The brunch is superb: Duck biscuits, steak and eggs over fried rice. Bottomless drinks too that are well made. The Bloody Mary was perfect.Happy Hour during the week is also great value on food and drink.
MoreI went here to check out the food as i had heard good things. I love Thai food, and this restaurant has some tasty food. I wouldnt say the menu is strictly Thai or indeed that orignal when it comes to authentic dishes. Its more of westernized thai flavours with a twist on some classics. The restaurant itself was cool, busy with a nice vive and cool decor. My waitress was knowledgeable and attentive, all in all a good pkace to go for dinner. The crispy pak choi is excellent, and the Sea bass green curry doesnt disappoint. The prices are a bit high but thats what high end location does.Worth a visit, book a table.
MoreThis place is great food was awesome from appetizers all the way to dessert service was great plate presentation as well . You can come dress casual. But business casual I would recommend from the scenery when I was there today overall great experience
MoreNot very good service, long waiting for dishes. The Tuna pizza (not in the menuas appetizers was very good. Green curry with sea bass was good. Nice environment. Veggie spring roles delicious. But the tofu on my yellow curry was terrible, very chewy- I had to return it - but they did not charge it. The desert was awesome - tea mil-folhas..
