Nahal Snir Nature Preserve - Nature reserve in Al Qunaytirah, Syria
Very nice trail. Most of it is shaded. The current of the stream was good and there are places along the route to sit privately near the water. Unfortunately at the time I was there, there was a health warning regarding the water so I only dipped the legs.Another disadvantage of the trail is that it is not circular. You need two cars or to hitchhike you way back.
Lovely natural site with streams, falls amid danse vegetation
Cool, calm water trek. water level is upto the waist atmost. waterflow is quite good. Had a lovely time during the trek. Absolutely worth visit during summer
Cold waters in a hot day
Organized, very family friendly, experience. Varying routes make good choices no matter your age. And the wading pool is great for that hot, Israeli, summer.
Lots of water crossing. Option for dry trail. Somewhat murky water. Great current, signs for unsuitable swimming well posted
Great walk, nature fruits and swimming
A fantastic experience. Hiking, swimming, waterfalls. Beautiful!
Cool easy and shady short trail, with a fresh stream. Two hour getaway from the heat.
A wonderful walking trail. A bit challenging though. Takes around hour and a half to complete. Has plenty of spots where people can jump in the water!
One of my favorite spots in the far north and if you are around Hagoshrim id definitely give it a visitQuiet and peaceful with lots of green beautiful nature
Very nice place
Nice walk experience, specially for summer season. Cool. Recommended for families, friends and couples.
Very good for small kids, even if they are using a trolley. You can also do the blue trail, by leaving the trolley behind. Make a small and very rewarding walk down the trail. The natural water stream will meet you immediately. And after aby 50-100 m you can walk back up. After spending an hour or two in the fresh stream
Great reserve and nature track. Unlike the Banias that all the ways to the water were blocked from the visitors, here most of the track is in the water, and there are few nice spots to swim.
Nice as usual. Wet easy hike for the whole family. Nice spots on the way to enjoy the stream and swim. At the end theres a short hike back to the begining which is exposed bit its short.
מ ו ש לם. - P E R F E C TThanks to the National Parks Authority all trails were clea and well marked. Peacefulness
Very beautiful. One of the 3 main streams that flow into the Jordan River. There is not much shade if one takes the long trail, up the hill. In the winter, or after rains, there is mud on the paths so beware. The shorter trails are usually in the shades, and there are little pools for the kids to wade. The stream and its little waterfalls are very beautiful. Trails are between 15-40 minutes. The whole visit lasts about 2 hours. There are tables to eat, at the entrance.
walking in the water, some of the stones are slippery. the trail is not very long and the water is cold.
Very exciting and fun for the whole family. I took the long route and found my self outside the reservation. I had to walk outside under the sun 25 minutes to reach the main entrance again.
Very nice lots of water
Very clean. Highly recomended. Cool water to ealk in.. very nice place to visit.
It was a great place to go for a couple of hours of hiking. The water was nice and cold to the skin and it definitely was refreshing. The force of water was just a little bit forceful at some places but if you have a strong footing, youll be fine!
Very nice reserve with mostly shaded paths and beautiful views of the Snir river. There is a wide area perfect for a family picnic and some splash pools.
My favorite place in this country. It’s so beautiful and unexpected. You can walk along a large stretch of the river bank hopping on rocks and tree branches. Swimming is allowed in some areas. Don’t stick to the beginning of the river access in the park. Keep walking down the river and soon you will be away from people and just around nature. There’s a path that takes you back to the parking lot at the end of the river bank. The clerk in the front that allows you in after you pay is very rude. There was a line of over 20 cars trying to go inside and she was purposely asking unnecessary information. She had no care that she was holding back hundreds of people.
Gorgeous nature reserve - one of my favorites! We arrived early Friday morning at 8:30, and saw no one else on the trail!! The Hatzbani stream is nice and full after all the winter rain falls, so it was super refreshing to walk through the water. Perfect trail for a hot day.
The must seee water stream and nature reservation!
👍
Clean, beautiful, wet and quiet nature reserve. There are 4 walking paths, some with shade, some with water along the path. This reserve is recommended for visit all year long. There is also a picnic area and a small gift shop. This is my 3rd visit there and they produce consistent experience. Would come back again.
How refreshing in the summer to scramble over the rocks in the cold river and hike down along it. A great place for families and children. The snack shop and restrooms are good amenities. The Israel National Trail passes right through it. Make sure to bring your water shoes.
Great place to cool off from the summer heat. There are lots of different trail options and things to see. If you go on the wet path, be aware that there are lots of rocks and a pretty strong current in the water and it may be challenging for small kids.
Clean, beautiful nature. Fun for all family.
Bring shoes for walking in water. No way to stay dry.Great atmosphere and water is nice and cold. Theres a couple of spots deep enough to submerge.
Very beautiful place to walk. I took the long track on a hot day, but the walk on the chill water make it very enjoyable.
Wonderful nature reserve.as national park there is a fee to enter.during vacation holidays it tend to be bussy(20 min. To get to the entrance by car).there is a big parking lot.there are well maintained trails that part of them u will walk inside a stream.some parts will require to assist todllers im walking.there are some small pools with cold water for bathing.there is a small kiosk for snaks and beverages.u can walk round trips and one way trips as there are exit on the opposite side.this place is well recomended for the hot days..
A charming and well-maintained place offers a variety of activities for children
Very nice & beautiful naturalIt’s good if you are searching for natural healing
A really cool place to escape the summers heat. Come with the family, have a nice picnic, splash in a cool stream and enjoy a shaded trip in nature.A really great attraction - the senses trail - is a joy to kids and parents alike. Experience nature with cool tasks along a well designed trail.
Great hike, with beautiful pools and cool, refreshing water. Wear water shoes and expect to get wet, but you can make it with stepping in the water, if you want.
One of the best nature/water hikes in all of Israel! Great with kids. But better with kids over the age of 6. It’s a little difficult to navigate the slippery rocks. But there are wading pools for them if you just want to hang out there. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day!
One of the highlights of our trip to the northern part of Israel. Beautiful, green, with a lot of water, has different options for easier and harder trails.
One of the most beautiful places Ive ever seen, had so much fun river hiking. Overall a fun and amazing thing to do while in the north of Israel.
Great reserve for families, wheelchair and stroller accessible. There are many sites where you can dabble. Theres also a more adventurous path where you can walk in the stream for families with older children. Lately the site opened inaugurated a brand new "Senses Park" with nice educational missions for the little ones.
Fun great hike, you walk in cool refreshing water for a bit which is added fun, carried a one year old the whole way so not too hard of a hike a nice park to chill in after your home bathrooms and stream, its a cool way too spend a fun off day
A looping route, that includes walking in the stream. Suggested time of the year is end of March and beginning of April. For the entire family.
One of the nices streams, walking in the stream most of the way. Great for kids and adults.
Great hiking place with water
You can enter the river and walk. Its not deep. There are also small waterfalls. Fish restaurant "Dag al ha Dan" is located nearby. Its also possible to buy fish for home cooking raised at their fish farm. Charming place.
Great trail for adults as well as kids. Lots of fig trees and wild grapes planted around the nature reserve, so good for people who know how to forage. Its an easy trail so nothing to worry about. Loved the water trail.
Pristine water source with great access to water trails.
