Best paranthas in Melbourne west
Very tasty food. Palak Panner Paratha was excellent. Rasmalai was delicious
Best Aloo pranthas in Melbourne.
Really lovely sweets and tea. The Baloo Shahi is amazing!
Very tastey and delicious food. They cook fast and efficient. The Staff is very friendly and cooperate.
First time visit, beautiful display of Indian sweets, they are charged by weight. Great customer service!
Food is ok, did a menu log order today only to have it cancelled, I would suggest you contact menus of to have your restaurant removed if you aren’t going to fulfill the orders.
Best punjabi food in MeltonSpecial everyone try Gulab jamun 😋And chole bhature is best as well
Love the food here. Freshly made and feels authentic. The parathas are really good and the paneer pakodas are the best Ive had. Most of the food Ive tried have been very good. Great service too.
We had the Thaili, aloo parathas and Chole bhatures; all delish.
Love their food and sweets.
Amazing food, delicious snacks. Friendly staff and very good customer service. Very clean place with hand wash facility.
Its a hidden gem! A place for non-stereotype Indian food and their sweet range is nice too!
They are best. I love their samosas and allu pranthas.
Loved the Samosas, good size and taste samosas compared to others
This is my favourite place for sweets and snacks. Their gulab jamun is the best gulab jamun I ever had. Number one in Melbourne. I just tried their bread stuffed pakora. I have no words to praise. We Just loved it. Highly recommended place.
Nice place for authentic Indian sweets and snacks. The cham chams and gulab jamuns are a must try items.Staffs are well mannered and you have got limited parking on the road side.
Awful experience with staff and its owner. Owner did not even bother to understand the confusion about and keep murmuring In front of all customers. Poorest customer service experienced so far.*********Reply after getting comments ******Still you did not understand the whole context here. Even if you get lot of orders and a long queue does not mean you will start neglecting and treating your customer as grant. I was simply asking that can I get these sweets in small boxes and you turned the whole table and cooked your half understood story. Also I heard you said sth ridiculous when I asked the boxes and your staff laughed. You can ask yous staff and when I asked her she asked me to ignore. If you think thats the way you deal with customers .. good luck..dont forget people watch your behaviour.
Amazing home like food and great service. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend
This place is my all time favourite because they are always improving the flavours and trying to match the traditional tastes of our homeland. Very impressed with the food and service. At times might take little extra time but good things come with patience. Thank you for the lovely experience once again.
We ordered Aaloo parantha and Indian coffee. It was very large, unlike so many Indian restaurants where they serve paranthas as the size of roti, it was cooked to the absolute perfection, perfect blend of spices inside, yoghurt serving was decent size and it was very tasty. Indian coffee was replica of actual Indian coffee, it was so good that I could have gone for another one. All in all, 10/10We also bought some laddu and balushai.... laddu were made in desi ghee, absolutely fantastic, one bite and it took me straight back to Punjab, the exact same taste. Balushai on the other hand was very nice, crunchy on the outside, soft and perfectly juicy inside. One can tell the use of Superb quality ingredients.Good job, keep it up guys.
Worst place for food. Toady I got stuffed kulcha very clearly I told to front staff please put green chillis to make spicy and they put only red chilli power and no flavour of anything else only chilli power flavour on whole kulcha......
We have tried several different sweets and snacks from Nagra’s selection of Indian foods. The quality and service I can highly recommend.
Very poor service after 45 minutes later we received our order, low food quality.
Such an amazing place for indian snacks and food. I have been there twice just within 10 days. Its my go to place now. Highly recommended 👍
Love this place as they have very delicious food to serve...specially their cholle bhature and gulab jamuns.
Nice decent restaurant with good service and delicious vegetarian good. Been there twice, very nice - no complaints. Their food is better in taste n less in price. Their samosas, dahi Bhalla and bhaturas are delicious- must give a try. Are you guys member of good food restaurant.com.au? If not, can you join their free membership so its easy for me and my friends to buy food from your restaurant?
The taste of the food has been significantly changed from the last time we had our food here. Prices has also been increased for dine-in, however, takeaway prices are same. Suggestions for the thali system, they can serve more curries/veggies with lesser quantity than serving 1 curry unless you want pay extra for whole bowl of additional curry. A bit disappointed this time.
Aalo pranthas were not made fresh even when we returned which they gave firstly, after that as well they brought the pranthas same like before and the girl said this time its fresh but clearly it wasn’t. I clicked the picture of second time what they brought
We ordered samosa and some sweetsThe presentation was nice and food was also amazingSamosa was crispy with a bowl of sweet chutneyKeep it up 👍👍👍
I had really bad experience at Nagra sweets I went up there with my family .Staff is unfriendly, and lazy .In terms of providing services we ask for water as there was no water in water collor we had to remind them 3 times then she filled up.its so frustrating as a customer when she filled up the water collor she supposed to serve us but she ignored us what would someone feel in this situation? I am replying to you in regards of not paying for mineral water it was not me who visited yesterday I visited you with my wife and kids over a week ago and it was a girl who served us pls advised that look after your customer and dont blame others
This is a beautiful cafe and sweet shop. The staff are lovely people, the food authentic and absolutely amazing. My family and I visit regularly, it has become our favourite , 5 stars and recommend to everyone
Nagra Sweets is there name knows for Indian sweets but whenever I goes there they hardly have sweets to sell. They charge sercharge if we pay by any debt card which is not fair as they demanded cash. The food was also very average. They don’t even offer any home delivery. Just the girls gave me good service that’s why gave three star otherwise the owner need to look into their business if they want to service when we have plenty better Indian restaurant are around.
Overall, the dine-in experience was good, and they have plenty of food selection.Such an amazing Indian restaurant in the Melton west.Affordable and authentic Indian food. Strongly recommended! I will definitely come back to try other food and sweets.
Very fresh and good quality food and sweets .. our new favourite local place to go to ..!!We will be back for sure thanks
Decided to give their desserts and a few entrees a try and everything was incredible! Never experienced flavours like them before, absolutely need to give them a try
The atmosphere is charming. Warm n welcoming surroundings. The choice of food is lovely. The portions they are small but 2 give a varied and very adequate meal. The cooking of every element was impeccable and the price was very reasonable. Our favorite restaurant in melton area
This is Amir Dar from Lahore, Pakistan. Ive been to the cafe this morning for the breakfast with my Son and Brother in Law. It was an amazing experience of Desi Nashta. We ordered Halwa Puri, Chana Bhatura, Bharva Kulcha, Aaloo and Gobhi Paratha with Jeera Lassi.Everything was up to the mark, especially the Puris and Bhaturas were awsome with minimal quantity of oil, so there was no heavy feeling at all.Bharva Kulcha was a new experience for us, but that was too yummy as well.Aaloo and Gobhi Parathaas were awsome with reasonable amount of spicy stuff filled inside.Separately presented Channa and Aaloo curries were also very tasty with a bit higher amount of spice and then Mango Achars and Jeera Lassi were typical desi tarka on the top.I will definately bring my family here and I would highly recommend this place to the Desi Nashta Lovers to please give it a try and you will leave the place with no regrets InshaAllah.
Good masala tea, fantastic mixed vegetables dish, very nice peas and paneer curry,They were open earlier than the other Indian restaurant nearby which was closed till evening, so very much appreciated that we could get some good Indian lunch
Great service, huge menu and fantastic food - one of the best in Melbourne. The food isnt expensive. Best home cooked style food.
Tasty paratha’s ever tasted in Melbourne.love it
I love the place it is really good. Chole bature and alli parytan is my favorite. Everyone needs to try it and great service. One more thing the gulab jamun, they were fresh and tasty. Best service.
5 months agoDont Waste your money. This place is mistakenly overrated. There is nothing we can give 5 stars to this place. Bought gajar da halwa and had to throw it because of it bad smell and bad taste.
3 consecutive evening visits and the lovely lady owner didnt fail to entice us with her high class customer service ethics on top of yummy food served. This place is our decent n recent find for good indian snacks n sweets. Papri chaat n paneer pakoras are a “must try”. Keep on doing the good job guys 👌👌👍🏼
Definitely a nice place to snack on and to get sweets. Jalebies were really crunchy and yumm. Perfect pav bhaji after such a long time. Samosa chana was just yum. A little gem in Melton for sure..Edit: have had some sweets and they are awesome for the taste. A good place to buy fresh indian sweets for sure.
Dont Waste your money. This place is mistakenly overrated. There is nothing we can give 5 stars to this place. We went there for sweets around afternoon and only 1 or 2 items were available. When asked for desi ghee Sweets reply was shocking as they said who eats desi ghee Sweets nowdays & people dont like desi ghee Sweets as well. Only one mithai available was Mysorepak and taste disgusting. Size of samosas are like for kids with same price you buy anywhere else with double size. Owner lady was very rude with zero customer service skills. We were happy to know before that we have a sweet shop in melton now. But we have to go back to Kumar Sweets derrimut where everything made in desi ghee & value for money, taste delicious. Any sweet you ask for they have it.
Best place in Melton to have Indian food. Their Aloo Paratha and Chesse Spinach parathas are delicious and yummy. We also prefer to buy Samosas from here as they are freshly prepared and tasty.
Wonderful. Stuff kulcha and bread pakora was awesome.
Gulab Jamun and Laddos were fresh and they taste really yum. Great to seethis Indian sweet shop in neighborhood. Keep it up , will be buying soon again. thanks
We tasted their Samoas today and Gulab jaamun was so tasty , the taste was exactly same as in India ( Indian traditional sweets.
