Honestly, its a really nice place, however... me and my dad went for breakfast. First off, there were a lot of white males there. None of them were unfriendly or anything, but it did make me a little uncomfortable. Secondly, both me and my dad got a takeout bag for our food while the other customers (the white malesgot plates or other things to eat from. The staff was overall friendly and nice, but it felt discriminatory towards me and my father (who are both black). But, the food was really good and I would order the food again, but Im not sure I would ever dine in again...

Usually busy at this time of day so that was no surprise...but to wait over an hour and a half for 2 sandwiches was ridiculous especially when other orders were filled for people who pulled up AFTER us! My husband went in to check on it, (it was supposed to be brought outon top of the rude server they gave us the wrong breakwiches! I ordered the double with just bacon, my husband ordered double turkey sausage (he doesnt eat porkwe both ended up with sausage & bacon sandwiches smh...needless to say itll be a while before I return.

I really like Naples Top Dog. The Butterscotch malt is my favorite since 1978...wish they had a new location however. The parking is a headache and the drive up window has no flow without having to go in the neighbors parking lot or through the back IF you remember that its there for use. I know times are hard but they deserve a new building.

Gained 15 lbs. Eating this for lunch twice a week during my final semester of undergrad. I dont regret a single one of those lunches. Absolutely delicious!

I love this place..their hashbrowns be golden crispy and i love their breakwhiches they are yummy...let me include that the staff are really sweet...i totally recommend to anyone.

Im giving 5 stars due to great customer service, great food and pricing as well is just very fair. From getting a hamburger to French toast to the AMAZING BREAKWICH..... Im definitely going back.

I would go there in the early 80s.I would go for hot dogs. Today, I took my family. We had burgers and chicken strips. Home cooking. Depressed neighborhood, I dont remember the condition of the restaurant years ago. Today, my eyes were open. They now have a wood burner that is ineffective, the same booths, books lining the walls. like they are trying to help the neighborhood. They are an institution. Friendly. Quality food. I believe I had a big smile on my face, just being there. Thank you for not quitting business.

For the price you cant do much better than this place for a quick breakfast. The breakfast sandwiches are cheap, satisfying, and filling and the biscuits and gravy was basic but good, like what your parents would make only a little better. For the price the portions were generous. If you have a bunch of friends over and the next morning youre hungry for a quick and easy breakfast, skip McDonalds and grab some sandwiches from nagles!

Food is pretty good but service is poor. Too 20 minutes for a 10 minute sandwich. On more than 1 occasion. Tired of it!

Food was not like it once was. I waited for a long time and half the food was cold and over priced. Two hotdogs and a small fry was over $8. Very disappointing. 😕

Old school, homemade food when you see the grease on the bag u no its going to be good. A little bit of a wait but it was worth it. Breakwich be hittin

$12.50 for two bacon cheddar dogs,small fry and Coke. A little pricey for the food and atmosphere. Not to mention it took 15 minutes to get my food.

Been here a few times Over the years not bad food. People that claim the foods over cooked or undercooked or that it’s horrible not once have I had a issue here. Burger King and McDonald’s can’t compare honestly or Wendy’s.Cheap real food vs a burger from a chain they may be almost plastic and not mold.I’m a local guide you can trust. Most people I run in to with a negative review have never really been to that location or just posting comments cause some one they know says that place is horriable.So on a critic rating of food.The breakfast sandwich was lit.It was better then the steak bagel at McDonald’s that isn’t on the menu anymore.I definitely would love to review more items on YouTube. I am a chef and pick where I eat and being on the go if near by here is one I would choose.The store front is a lil out of dateBut the service for a local 2 star is great we where in and out in less time then McDonald’s.Want to know during Covid keep a eye at the reviews may order more asap

Just left my pick up order. My children and I were waiting to pay for our order when the BALD guy kept saying “take this to that white lady” he described skin color several times to identify what cars get what orders. This is a mostly white establishment... when I said something he said “well that’s what we say for every car...” WHY NOT JUST SAY THE WOMAN IN THE ONLY HONDA OUTSIDE.... never again, ever since I stopped seeing people of color there (Other than the man who works hard cooking, yep he’s black)... they have gotten worse And worse (customer service AND quality).

Every since the owner changed it has went downhill greatly. The food still tastes ok if they manage to get your order correct, and Ive seen others mention it they seem mad they have customers. Waited 10 mins in drive thru and the employee walked past the window 3 times looking at me before he finally asked me what I needed. Ill just go to antique kitchen they like having customers and unlike nagels they actually get my order correct. Nagels has not gotten my order correct since things changed

This is definitely a hidden gem of Kalamazoo. The breakfast sandwiches keep me coming back with regularity. The prices are good with regard to portion size.

I dont know of any other place that has a good chocolate malt other than Nagles Top Dog Malt Shop, everyone else uses custard! This is the best in my opinion, even the fries and olive burger. I hope they stay open during these difficult times. I had a birthday get together here and everyone loved the food.

The food is good, but the service is Horrible. The workers are so hood and so rude. They seem genuinely angry that they have customers. If you come in by yourself or with one other they might be ok, but Do Not come in with your family or even order out for them. This IS NOT A FAMILY SPOT. They will glare at you, talk disrespectfully, and even yell at you..for ordering one meal per person. Dont even think about getting dessert.. These are the angriest people Ive ever encountered working in customer service and they were like that Every time. The owner however seemed nice.

I went into this place a couple of weeks ago. First red flag that I ignored was the terrible stench coming from the garbage dumpster. The 2nd red flag which I also ignored, it was hotter inside than outside and it was over 90 degrees that day. Got my burger & fries and left. Fries were not done, they were very pale. The burger, I am not sure if it was ok or if it was all in my head cos I couldnt get the garbage stench out of my nose. Took 2 or 3 bites of the burger then threw the entire meal in the garbage. Total waste of about 8 dollars. Staff was very friendly though. I will never go back. Should have gone to Wendys and got a double burger with fries & a frosty for about the same amount of money and it would have landed in my stomach rather than the garbage.

Nagels has a super delicious breakwich sandwich. Its clean and tge service is great. Prices are very affordable. Good spot for a couple peiple to have breakfast. Or study. We frequebt thos restaurant when were in town.

I love this place! their onion rings and mushrooms are to die for! A very friendly staff. Me and my family have been going here for many many years. I live in Florida now and came back for a visit and truly enjoyed it.

Decades old community business. Great affordable meals surrounded by history/nostalgia. Breakfast tastes like home cooked. Coffee is good. Its a step back in time when things were better.

Some of the best burgers in town if you got time to wait, because they cook everything fresh.Its worth the wait everytime.Awesome place to fall back a decade or two in your mind. Hipsters... come be inspired.

First time at top dog!! This place is awesome and stuck in the 80s. There are books that anyone can read along the windowsill. The food is the best part though. Size does matter here and you got to get the big breakwich. Not the best parking lot but definitely worth the stop in every once in a while.

this place isnt just what it used to be anymore he needs to fix the place up do some remodeling and hes been in the community for years and still hasnt done one thing to his restaurant not to mention every time you go over there theres someone different cooking your food or serving it.. this place needs a pharaoh facelift in a thorough sanitation and cleaning job I wont be visiting any longer its sad because I use to enjoy eating at this place since I was a little girl

Great little Mom n’ Pop coney diner. Cool atmosphere inside. Everything from Coney dogs and burgers to breakfast food. I stopped ordering as much when they upped the prices over the summer but they are still reasonable. I wish I still lived on that side of town so I could come back more often.

The place has character... Not sure how they pass the health inspection but if that doesnt bother you the food is good, very middle of nowhere diner feel, despite it being near town.

Omelettes are sucky for $7.50 I can make them better at home they jus threw the filling on top being plain lazy!! So it was a plain omelette with ham and onions and peppers on top n they made that skimmy if it was inside I wouldve been better but the only reason I didnt return it was because we paid with our card but the only good thing was breakfast sandwich thats worth the $5.50 but other than that I am not returning for anything but that sandwich.

Best breakfast food in town! If youlike soul food and are not on a diet you should try. Very simple place with true people from the community. They are friendly but not fake. I like everything on the menu I tried so far.
