Naeset-Roe Bed & Breakfast - in Stoughton, United States
These folks are amazing. What a lovely period house, awesome food and setting. Only a couple blocks from restaurants and the opera house.
We stayed for a night and had such an amazing stay. The house is lovely, we loved the decorations. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be back again.
Checked this B&B out during the Stoughton Wine Walk! Well decorated.
Always lovely... the beautiful rooms, the hospitality and the breakfasts! Scott and Kim are the best. 👻🎃🍁
My first B and B. Great experience! Worked well with a dog!
Beautifully kept historic home, amazing breakfast and hospitality! Coziest sheets ever and the buttermilk syrup is to die for-seriously.Will definitely be back!
My favorite Bed and Breakfast! The best bed and breakfast breakfast for sure. It has everything---greats hosts, great location, great value, lovely garden (with chickens!), and a warm, interesting, and beautiful, historic home.
My husband and I stayed here one night for a wedding. We had never stayed at a bud and breakfast before and this was just a quick trip in and out for the night. It was actually amazing. We stopped in chatted with the owners for a while they explained how to get in after the wedding and asked us when we would like breakfast. The breakfast was amazing. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were so sweet. The house is historical and we later walked through the garden in back with the owners before we left. Highly recommend. We were able to walk back and forth to the wedding just 4 blocks away. I would definitely visit again.
Adorable room, claw foot soaking tub. The most luxurious sheets ever. I dont know how to say how wonderful they are. Hosts are delightful.
My wife and I stayed for 3 nights Kim, Scott and Bella (their dogwere amazing. The beds are comfortable, the house is gorgeous and the breakfast is delicious. If we ever are traveling to the Madison area in the future this is where we will be staying.
Pretty much all aspects of the stay were wonderful. Scott and Kim are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious-- I was craving the pancakes on the trip back home. The house is beautifully decorated. Its also super dog-friendly-- Kim even watched the guest dogs while we all ate breakfast!
We stayed at the inn for 4 nights, our room and bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. The innkeepers Scott and Kim could not have been nicer and the breakfasts were outstanding highlighted by the buttermilk syrup! I have already told friends about this gem and we are planning on returning in the spring!
We love visiting them. The owners are kind and friendly. The breakfasts are amazing. You will love the syrup Scott makes. Close to fun places to eat and close to wineries and breweries by driving. You will love this place!
What a gem! We were searching for a place last minute and were so fortunate to stumble upon this gorgeous BnB. The first interaction I had with Scott and Kim was me letting them know I was going to be about 4 hours later than they had expected me. They were so accommodating and understanding. Right when we walked through the door it smelled like pumpkins and cinnamon and everything fall. It was decorated perfectly for the season. Scott showed us around the house and made us feel welcome. We sat downstairs and had a glass wine while Scoot told us the amazing history behind the house. Our night sleep was peaceful and COMFY. Those sheets are amazing. They provided thoughtful amenities like cold bottled water and chocolate. MOVING ON TO BREAKFAST... Breakfast was awesome! We were introduced to buttermilk syrup... BUTTERMILK SYRUP (tastes more like frosting, yum). We poured that over brioche french toast and sausage. So good. Great coffee, fresh everything. We ended our stay by talking with Kim and Scott and playing with their puppy Bernese Mountain Dog Bella. A GREAT stay in a great town. The location of this place could not be more perfect. It is super close to the cutest shops and restaurants. We had a blast. Thanks, Scott and Kim!
Beautifully decorated for the holidays, excellent food, kind hosts, good location!
Caring and friendly proprietors. Beautiful house! Delicious food, and I havent slept this well outside my own bed in ages. Recommended!
The B&B is roght off main street. It is in a perfect location right in the middle of the town. The rooms were well kept and seemed maintained. The hosts were excellent. They helped me out with anything I asked for.
The hosts of the household have been very nice and hospitable in my experiences. I really like the location of their building, its right in the center of town, so its a great spot during Sytende Mai because youre only a block away from Main Street.
The house was beautiful inside and outside. A very warm and comfortable feel inside the house. The rooms are cute with the softest sheets we have ever felt, which made for a great night sleep. The breakfast was delicious, I never had buttermilk syrup and it was magical on my French toast. The owners made us feel extremely welcome and we will stay at the Naeset-Roe anytime we visit Stoughton again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Naeset-Roe B&B. Kim & Scott keep a beautiful home and cook an amazing breakfast-french toast, candied bacon, eggs, fresh fruit and danish. The beds were very comfortable, great shower pressure and there was a tray of dark chocolate to snack on. It was a treat to stay with such a nice family! They were so great with our kids and taught us play some of their board games. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be staying there.
I just wanted to thank Scott and Kim for making my cousins stay in Stoughton so warm and welcoming. They could not say enough good things about your B&B - not only about your beautiful home and wonderful homemade breakfast but the kindness you showed in going out of your way to deliver her forgotten shoes so they would not have to make the trek back into town to retrieve them. It warms my heart to live in a community where the businesses treat people like family. Thanks so much!
Our vehicle broke down on a freeway near Stoughton, WI -- a kink in our otherwise perfect 2015 Memorial Day Weekend vacation. Two hours away from home, with two dogs and a pile of luggage, night falling, and vehicles zooming by at 80 MPH, we were stranded and tired. We figured a tow would come easy, but that a rental car or lodging would not given the hour and the two dogs. We figured wrong. The tow was next to impossible to secure (the fact that it was arranged by a roadside assistance service center 1,500 miles away probably didnt help). On the other hand, a single call to Scott at Naeset-Roe solved our much bigger problems. Scott and Kim offered to take us in with our dogs without notice (after a long busy holiday weekend), and Scott offered to pick us up on the freeway, dogs and all. You read that right. We accepted Scotts generous offer. Soon we were whisked away by Scott. His grand gesture and kind hospitable nature calmed our nerves at once. By the time we reached the quaint Stoughton area we felt like we were back on vacation. After meeting his wife Kim and being welcomed into their incredible home we felt like the vacation had just started. To say they made us feel welcome and at home is an understatement. Our room was outstanding: impeccably clean, tastefully furnished, and incredibly comfortable. We enjoyed a few complimentary snacks, and "hit the hay" on what seemed like infinite thread-count sheets. We slept like babies and woke up to delicious coffee, and what can only be described as one of the tastiest and most generous breakfasts available anywhere (sorry Mom but its true). Thank you again Scott and Kim, we cant wait to return, and would gladly suffer through another vehicle breakdown to make it happen if need be.
A beautiful home with sweet touches, gracious host and hostess in Scott and Kim, and good reason to sit and savor made our stay at Naeset-Roe a joy. No detail was neglected. And the buttermilk syrup for the brioche French toast? Nothing like it! Very accommodating of our every need. Stimulating conversation on the porch at the end of our day plus the hidden gems of interest in Stoughton will bring us back again!
