Rustic-chic outpost featuring sophisticated Mexican cuisine & cocktails in a cool space.
This was my first time here. Before I start, public parking is confusing in the area. Read signs. After you park and go inside, this place has a nice decoration and atmosphere. Great place to meet up with someone. Food was just ok. My friends ordered some appetizers - nachos, brussel sprouts and biscuits. I got the chicken tacos. Food selections are limited. It felt like this was a cantina. Coffee is French pressed and pretty good. I loved our server. I wish I got his name, but he was amazing. I told him he was too. He took great care of all of us. Bathroom decoration is pretty too. They do have outdoor seating.
The flavor is different from the Mexican food I am used to in California. However, different is not bad. I had the Al Pastor tacos which were very flavorful. The salsa served with the chips was really good. I was not a big fan of the roasted corn, but it was not bad. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals. The dining areas and restrooms were clean. The staff was friendly. I do recommend this place, just expect and unexpected flavor and enjoy.
Amazing place, great vibes, very chill it’s almost like a hidden gem and very low key place easy to miss. Even the outside decor is nice but the inside is very grand and the service is just as good. Take a look at the straw in the photo I took. See how it looks brown and dirty? Well the straw is actually clean and made from recycled materials and even has a lumpy like texture to it which I thought was super cool, I wish more restaurants would do this. The food is amazing, try the Queso you will not be disappointed. The people were nice, the food was amazing, the lemonade was great, the water is good I believe it’s spring water. The only issue I had was not technically the restaurants fault but the parking sucks. I had to park at the nearest garage and it cost $22 just to park there so be prepared to pay $22 for parking or prepare for a long walk.
The food was AMAZING! The chicken fajita was extremely well cooked. &&& our server was very respectful and provided great service.
Amazing food, great ambiance, good service. Drinks left a little to be desired, expected less watered down cocktails. Would still rate it a 5!
Stylish restaurant with better than expected Mexican food. Really enjoyed starters like jalapeño cornbread, fancy queso poured over beans pico concoction, and crispy brussel sprouts.
I rarely make reviews but this is definitely worth the time. I could not be anymore impressed with the level of service and immense hospitality they gave us on Friday October 7 before a big concert. Corie the restaurant manager was "The Win" as I called her. She won our respect and hearts with her bubbly personality and energy. This is just what concert goers need to get amped up. Nada will always be the pre-concert go to place for us. Krista did a great job too and made sure we had everything we needed in a timely manner. The food was incredible we had the crisp brussel sprouts (so flaky and perfectthat are accompanied with a great spring sauce and veggie mash. The chili sweet potatoes were also a big hit along with our salmon street tacos. We were visiting so Corie and Krista also sent Willie to our table with a hand written list of places to go to. Bottom line they treated us like rock stars. Great Job Corie and team.
Nada consistently has some of the best servers/bartenders. It is a great place to go for a work lunch, date night, or even family dinners with the kids. I’m so happy they brought back the salmon tacos (my favoriteand our kids love the mac ‘n cheese. We literally go just to pick up their creeper salsa sometimes. And they have super good margaritas too! Yes, it’s not cheap, but the quality is probably the best of all the similarly priced places nearby.
Super disappointed after our visit. We were seated quickly enough (10 min), but then everything kept sliding downhill. First round drinks came out in a reasonable time, but refills kept slipping and my glass was often empty. We were told one of our apps would take 20m, which was fine and it showed up at that mark - but the dinners never did arrive until we just could not wait any longer. 1h15m after being seated we just could wait around for 6 tacos. The cornbread was good and the brussel sprouts rather average. But the overall service so disappointing it really ruined the entire experience. This is a management issue. Only the server came around until the very end. A decent manager would have table touched when customers have been waiting 45m for their dinner. Nobody except the server came around until the end and by that time it was too late.
Absolutely delicious! I got the vegetarian fajitas and my partner got the Baja tacos and loved them so much he got seconds. The chips and Salsa we’re great as well. Our waitress Catherine was a sweetheart!
Nice decor, lots of seating, good food. The guac was fine despite previous reviews. Decent beer selection. My only complaint is that the soft taco shells were a bit dry, but the al pastor meat and seasoning was good.
Great food and great service even on the busiest day. We went prior to a concert starting and had a little wait, but the food was worth it. Definitely recommend the queso and they have the best fish tacos around.
This restaurant was yummy, but I felt thay the quality of food for the price was a little low. Probably wont return, but their Baja fish tacos were pretty good.
The food here is delicious. I did not enjoy sitting at a table that was way too close to other people. The music was good but very loud. Bring headphones to muffle the sound.
I’m not a big fan of Mexican food… however, I was positively impressed with this place!I can imagine this is a up-scale and less traditional Mexican restaurant. Dishes reminds more of a fusion concept with modern revisitation of classic plates! I loved everything I had!!!The Carne asada tacos… the margarita… the amazing chips with salsa… the plantains chips are the best… with a delicious queso… and also the made in that moment jalapeño cornbread! It was an amazing meal and I left satisfied and happy! The spot is also cool and a different vibe compared to more classic Mexican places. I really felt comfortable and cozy. Finally, I can’t avoid to mention the service: Christal was the best waitress I have ever had in my life! Nice, thoughtful, gentle, smiley, not pushy but explaining everything with passion! I really enjoyed her presence and it makes me want to go more times there just to see her!A lovely night that I will redo for sure soon!
Great food and good service. Menu is a little small but the food is really good. The salsas are really good as well. Nice drink menu. Service was good, the restaurant was not that busy when we were there. Overall experience.
The loaded queso, chicken tacos, and strawberry margarita was so good! Service was great.
The food was amazing but we would have to say the best part of the experience was the service, we had Tony for our waiter and he was perfectly attentive and so kind especially since we came in about 45 minutes to close. Most servers give the cold shoulder but notTony [he deserves a raise!] We wish we lived closer so that we could go again, until next time!
I live in Cincinnati and I love our Nada, but the Columbus Nada was even better. Abrielle is one of the best servers Ive ever had. The food was prefect as always, drinks were great.
Great place to bring out of town guests. Its a little quirky but the food is very good, not too pricey (it is Downtown after all). I love that they change some of the menu items but unfortunately sometimes they eliminate a personal favorite.
Abby was a pleasure to have as a waitress! She was very kind and attentive! Casual environment with a slight upscale feel. Clean bathrooms, solid drinks, & tasty apps. Perfect fit for when my colleagues & I get drinks after work.
Mexican restaurant with a twist of Fusion. They make the food preparation Lil different, which makes their food delicious. Service is gr8 and good ambiance.
Ive wanted to try this place for forever but just never got around to it. When I say it was worth the wait I cannot stress it enough! The decor, the food, the service, the vibes were all solidly in "best ever" territory. Willis was an absolute all-star server. The menu was very accommodating to gluten free needs, and the food was ridiculously good.
We loved the atmosphere and the convenience to arena and brewery district. Found on street parking but parking garage is right next door as well. The cocktails w were presented very well and were delicious. For appetizer we had the guacamole with salsa and chips that were fresh crispy and wonderful. The Maduros fried sweet plantains with dipping sauce was to die for, followed by the Hongos tacos which we loved. Our friends had the pork tacos and were well pleased with their choice. The service was top notch from our server Sara R who was attentive and very friendly. We will definitely return.
Grandson ordered the ancho chile fajitas and was blown away! He said the tortillas had been "put to bed" the way they were served 🤣 The cilantro like rice was amazing!
Fantastic a couple years ago. Latest experience on Saturday not so good. GREAT bar service but guac not good, watery?. I love hot n spicy but salsa was not edible. Fish tacos were worst Ive had in years. Small portions. My margarita w top self was $18! Wouldnt go back which is shame because they have a great party room and Im planning a party soon.
We had a wonderful experience here! All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Crystal took great care of us for the evening, she was very attentive and made sure we had a perfect meal. We enjoyed everything about Nada and will certainly be back for more.
Didnt eat anything but that margarita with tangerine is great! The interior of this place is super cool too.
Was in town and met up with wlsome friends was really taken back by the food good quality and delicious. Little on the higher side in price for Mexican but it is up scale and great flavor.
Foods very good. Sad to see that no shrimp tacos on the menu. We sat outside. The seat cushions were very dirty. Many many food stains on them. I guess this restaurant company is still recovering from the pandemic.
Ordered 3 Tacos, 1 Diet Coke, Chip and Salsa.. $26. Though not terribly upset with the price point, the flavor was there but the quality of the meal overall was less than acceptable:1.8oz Diet Coke was $32.Fried fish taco was HAMMERED in the fryer.. The Gordon Fisherman would have been embarrassed3.The Chips and Salsa was good but sad that this was the highlight of the mealIf you want downtown ambiance and a cool place to have a drink, cool, if you’re going for the food, consider eating beforehand and stick to the margaritas.
Ive been to Nada many times. Every time has been incredible but the last time was the best. I took my daughter there before a concert and Amy, our server, finding out about our event together, went out and bought us flowers to place on the table. Ive never had service like this. Everybody Ive met there has been great but Amy stands out in my eyes. Needless to say the service is great and the food has always been amazing too. Theres nothing about this place I wouldnt recommend.
Really good atmosphere, absolutely lovely staff, everyone was genuinely pleasant and friendly, this is such a welcoming quality. The food was fantastic! Everything was seasoned expertly, nothing was overpowering the flavors worked in concert to deliver the experience their menu description promised. Too many items never live up to this. The overall flavors on everything I tried were a delightful, full pallette with no harsh edges. Tempatures on everything were really good, it was a real treat to get a meal like this while on the road. Highly recommended.
Loved it. Guac was fantastic, queso was a,so fantastic. We each had tacos and loved them! Very cool atmosphere. Only thing we didn’t like was the cans/bottles of soda. Ever heard of free refills? $100+ for four of us.
Very fun ambiance in the heart of downtown Columbus. The day we visited, they had a very limited menu. Could have been a supply chain issue. Food was good but tacos are very small for the price.
The food was good but couldve had a bit more flavor. The drinks and churros were top notch.
Delicious food and great service. Delicious Vegetarian and vegan options available. Make sure to try the cornbread.
Nada is a solid choice for Taco Tuesday if youre in downtown Columbus. The salsas that come with the sampler are really good. The gazpacho was unique and tasty. And the Chile-Mango margarita is the best combination of sweet and spicy to wash it all down.
so delicious! Just stopped by after being in the area and we were so pleasantly surprised! Sadly didnt get photos of the plantains, but one of the best appetizers Ive had in columbus! I had a chile-lime margarita and was beyond obsessed!! Sweet with pineapple, but also has a spicy kick! I got the baja tacos and they were great. Small tacos but each one has a good serving of protein. We ended the night with churros and the night just got better! I cant wait to go back.
They were busy because of an event at Nationwide but seated us quickly. The server was attentive and friendly. The food was very good. The Mahi tacos had just the right amount of spice and were very tasty. The ancho salsa is smoky and flavorful. The pastor was great with the pineapple. Dishes were tasty and well presented.Chips and salsa are not complimentary. The dishes and sides are a la cart. So it will probably cost a little more than youd expect for Mexican.
My experience at Nada was fantastic! Our server was great, and the food and drinks were delicious. Their “creeper” salsa is now an all-time favorite for me - it’s so flavorful and has the perfect spice level. I went with a group of friends, and we all left very satisfied!
Service was great and the food was even better. The only thing I didnt care for was the guacamole. But the presentation was pretty. The atmosphere here was a nice chill vibe. Definitely see myself going back.
This was my first time at Nada and although the name is nada it was everything our maybe nada because you wont have anything to dislike about the restaurant. The food was fresh, the served were courteous and friendly, the drinks were yummmm. I love tamarind but had never seen it in a drink and that warns my heart lolWent in with a group of friend and we all tried different things from the menu loved allOh there is a secret door to a private room :)
Great cocktails and excellent Mexican an food. Server was very friendly and food came out fast and hot.
I’ve come to Nada for years, and my praise and confidence here haven’t wavered. They are consistently unique and stylish in their America Mexican fusion; and beyond… It’s such a charming hidden gem, I think if placed on a more centralized road it would be a big success, and deservedly so! As any place can have hits and misses this place has a lot of hits. It’s fun, it’s tasty and they have good drinks. I am a big supporter and continue to be proud of Ohio’s, and most of all Central Ohio’s growing and vibrant food culture. By the way, the interior here is just so beautiful, my admiration comes full circle; I love Nada! Cheers…(By the way the guac is the one thing that could use improvement, in my opinion)
Great customer service! Was in the area for the inaugural Columbus Crew game, July 3, 2021, at the new Crew Stadium, so every restaurant was busy. We first went to Teds Montana Grill and Sat at the bar. I love Teds, but theyre bartenders seemed completely overwhelmed. Sat for ten minutes with the previous customers dirty plates sitting in front of us. I certainly understand the post-pandemic restaurant issues, but no greeting, no water and not simply removing the dirty plates was unacceptable. We walked across the street to Nada and the manager at host stand was very accommodating and said he could get us in, in 15 minutes... And he did. Service and food was exceptional! Tried something different in the roasted cauliflower tacos. Wow, so tasty!... A must try! Also the house pickled cucumber and onion salad... Delicious!Thank you Nada!
BEST FOOD & PATIO IN ARENA DISTRICT!! Staff was amazing, food was excellent and the drinks were good too !! Thanks so much for the hospitality I will definitely come back! Allison from Cinci was AMAZING (GMso was KEN (AMfrom Columbus! 10 out of 10 keep doing what your doing!
Great service great food. The whole staff works as a team and treats the customers great. We had the chips trio, chicken carbón, cauliflower, grilled mahi, and Baja fish tacos, all of which were so good but the guac and queso are the standouts. The taco portion sizes are really small for the price, but are of excellent quality. If you want to get full eating here, you will need to have an appetizer or two in addition to the tacos. Pair it with a pitcher of their signature Nadarita for 6 glasses of margs and it will run you an expensive but good meal.
We ventured downtown to try Nada...It was worth the trip - the restaurant has a super cool vibe.. the waiter was awesome... The food was awesome... Really what more could you ask for?We started out with their cheese dip and chips which was awesome. I had the steak fajitas meal which was awesome... Wifie had 3 tacos which were unique but awesome... Baby girl had the quesadillas which were awesome... The recurring theme here was it was an awesome experience and worthy of the trip downtown. It is a bit pricey but worth it.
Best Mexican food I’ve ever had in Ohio! After living in California, moving back to Ohio has left a hole in my foodie heart as I have time after time been let down by Mexican food around here. Now I have finally found my answer: Nada! The food they are cooking at Nada is top-notch! From the moment you taste the salsas to the cornbread and the margaritas, they waste absolutely no opportunity to blow your mind and make you rethink the Mexican dishes that you are used to. Somehow, they have taken everything from queso to fajitas and all in between and stepped them up a notch. They take your favorites and make them better in ways you didn’t even imagine. Additionally, the service was spectacular, the waiter was very friendly and very attentive. He made us feel comfortable and very well cared for. The design, style, and vibe of Nada is perfect! Upscale in a chill and welcoming way with lots of unique details that will actually capture your attention. I can’t say enough good things about this place! Keep it up guys!! Now the only thing I wish is that I could get my hands on a shirt from them!
