If you love middle eastern food then its a must visit place. Good service and also very reasonable price as well.

We heard a lot about this restaurant, but the service was horrible. The people working there got so much attitude for no reason, we dont speak local language that doesnt mean you should ignore us and only focus on your own kind ...

The worse experience ever. I visited Sultan Food on 1 Jan 2022 and I felt I was not welcome. I waited to be serviced for more then 30 minutes and no waiter came to me even though they were not busy at all, only 4 tables were occupied at that time. All the Staff were rude and snappish. Some staff look at you and don’t respond when you call them others look like they don’t hear you at all. I even used sign language thinking they might be deaf but that didn’t work either.

We got breakfast with desert and hookah,Tasty food , good prices and friendly staff ,I recommended the place.

Terrible service. Hostesses purposely ignoring customers. Waited an hour to find that the order was wrong. Manager socializing with customers and ignoring floor service. Please save your time and money. Do not patronize this establishment.

This is one of the best middle eastern cuisine you could ever have in Kiev. Food is tasty and quantity is more than enough for one person to finish. The best part is the price so darn cheap compared to other fine dining restaurant across the city. Also the staffs are sweet and hospitable.I almost visited this place everyday for my lunch!I would highly recommend to try this place out for locals as well.

Food is normal. Service is really bad. Too slow and missing order (could be misunderstanding due to lack of English language). Found hair in 2 dishes. Also, the kunafa dish was served by a lady with a long nail that I saw her nail touching the kunafa so I ate the other parts and kept that area. I wasted more than 2 hours and regret going there. If I have a time machine I will go back and eat somewhere else because this is my last day in Ukraine and 2-3 hours are too much for ordinary food.

My honest personal review, this is my first time in Kyiv and the restaurant was recommended to me by a friend. I don’t speak Ruski/Ukrainian and some of the waiters spoke English very well which I appreciate very much! The waitress Nigora was super friendly and patient with us!The food was well cooked, served right, delicious and tasted like a real Arabic restaurant!We ordered mixed mashawi platter, steak and beef shawarma platter.Outdoors and indoors seatings. We ate inside then had shai/tea outside. Overall had a very good experience.

The place is not comfortable it’s very noisy and crowded. The waiters aren’t polite . The waiting time is for ever . More than hour waiting . There are smokers everywhere. Hookah is available there . I don’t like it. We ordered takeout and leave .

I usually come here. I love the food. It’s great value for money howeverI came here on the 16th of may with a friend at around 10 pm and ordered this dish and another. I had a young ukranian waiter (malewho messed up my order and brought a single piece of chicken for 125 grvs instead of this for 250. The waiter didn’t understand English well so on complaining he called his manager (who was Arabic and his name was Muhammad Shidee-щидиwe told him the order was incorrect so he brought us the same chicken with plain rice and a bowl of yoghurt when we told him it’s not the same thing as the menu picture he went and got the rice fried and tried to convince us it’s the same thing (as a regular we know it’s not). On complaining he told us to be quite and was being super rude about how we wasted his time and if we don’t want to pay we should just eat and go. As customers he had no right to use this language. He misbehaved so much, ruined our mood and we couldn’t enjoy our dinner anymore. After we asked for cheque we still paid for the dish that was not according to our liking. He kept coming to our table to fight, afterwards the other staff apologized on his behalf but the damage is done. The food is good but they should fire their useless staff. As Muslim I want to visit a halal restaurant and this is one of the good options but this disgusting behavior of disrespecting customers will not be tolerated. As you can see in picture food not as shown. Very disappointed. And also they reduced their quantity or maybe they only respect Arabic and ukranian customers as I saw that day. Very racist. I don’t recommend anymore. I’m very upset.
